Title: What's the Point of an Appointment?!…read more I scheduled an appointment at Express Oil Change to have my air conditioning serviced, expecting a timely and efficient experience. Apparently, "appointment" means something entirely different to them. When I arrived, the shop was packed with multiple cars ahead of me. I was then informed that my appointment wasn't actually for service--it was just for them to acknowledge that I needed work done. Excuse me? That's not what an appointment is for! An appointment should mean that my vehicle is scheduled for a specific time slot, not that I get to sit around waiting like a walk-in customer. This was a complete waste of my time. If I had known an appointment meant nothing here, I could have gone elsewhere or planned accordingly. Express Oil Change needs to rethink their scheduling system or stop pretending to take appointments altogether. Absolutely ridiculous.

Sams Club tire shop, screwed up two lug nuts/wheel studs badly. another shop tried to get them off,…read moreno luck. literally had a wheel that i couldnt get off my car--not good if you get a flat.. Hills was referred to me by another shop, as someone with the ability to deal with this ( not a common issue, but, also not something a LOT of other tire shops can deal with ). I was both amazed at how fast it was, and how reasonable it was, to get this repaired. they let me know upfront there was a slight labor uptick, due to some extra effort/mechanical parts being involved, told me when it was ready, asked if i wanted to pick it up then, or leave it overnight ( was late in the afternoon ). I can say i am DONE with Sams Club tires.. you THINK u save money.. but.. no, not in the long run, which is when it counts and adds up. didnt mention the reason for the repair in the first place-- a nearly new tire i got from Sams, "came apart", on this rim. and when replaced, they screwed up the lugs, didnt mention it, and, i wasnt aware of it for months, until i tried to get the paid for tire rotation/balance done.. they couldnt get the wheel off.. so yea.. go with the PRO's.. and counter service/phone call/service people i spoke with-- all were more than courteous..

Started…read morehearing some noise lately such as a scrubbing noise to the front right passenger side brake pad. Due to my work schedule & not living in Griffin or even working nearby. I chose to take it to my mechanic near my work on 10/28/26 to do a brake inspection. After the brake inspection I called Hill Tire/Pierce Tire and Auto to only be informed by "Tiffany" that they only have a 6 month warranty on labor. But that I could still bring it this Friday 10/30/26 to have it checked. After thinking it over, I thought to myself if i'am going to end up having to pay anything else then I might as well have the mechanic near me do the work. Not to mention if my work was done just a little over a YEAR AGO & I had not driven my car for OVER 30,000 miles since the work was done should I even entrust them to work on my car again. So, I had the mechanic near me do the work. I paid $359.20 to have new brake pads & rotors replaced on the front of my car today 10/28/26. I got a call to let me know that my car was ready & that they needed to show me something when I arrived. They told me that the reason I had to replace them so soon was due to my BRAKE PADS BEING DIRECTIONAL PADS & THEY PUT THE LEFT ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE, AND THE RIGHT ONE ON THE LEFT SIDE. I instantly called to let Hill Tire/Pierce Tire and Auto know my findings to only be told that they cannot do anything for me & that I should have brought it to them first. Again I clearly thought about that & even scheduled an appointment but so thankful to god I did not! Why would I risk the chance of them messing up my car again? Sadly this is what customer service looks like now & they try to twist it to make it seem like it is your fault! When they clearly are at fault. I will say it again why would I ever entrust the same thing possibly happening again or if they would be honest about it to begin with. Such a shame. Very sad!

Three different repair shops fixed the problem...or not...several times. Light would come back on. Cars do not pass emissions when the check engine light is on. Carly's light had been on steadily since passing emissions last year. I now live near H3 Automotive Repair in McDonough and love those guys. When I left for a judging assignment last week, I dropped Carly off and said "she needs to pass emissions." When I got home, not only had they fixed the problem, they took her to an emissions station and got that done for me, too. She's street-legal and zippier than ever. Thanks, H3 Automotive Repair!

Jesse is the owner of this establishment and not only is he great to talk to, he knows his stuff. Auto Quick does oil changes as well as the full range of normal car repair. If the shop in McDonough can't do it he has another location that has more equipment. Today I had to get an emissions test and although Jesse was not there, his crew did a great job and did it quickly. I have seen Jesse weld something for someone. One time he heard a rattle in my car and he had me pull in the Garage so he could see what was making the noise. He took care of it for no extra charge. I changed my own alternator and Jesse tested it at no charge. He has looked at my truck and told me how much to fix for not charge. He is a great guy and runs great local shop. I sometimes just stop by to talk to him.

I choose their Diamond service to make sure all my levels were ok for the long drive ahead. Today I started to change my oil and noticed a tool stuck in the panel next to the oil filter and it was the clip removing tool that removes the panel to access the oil filter. The panel clip was broken also. And the oil filter was a no name generic brand while I paid for a name brand filter included in the Diamond service. Auto Quick McDonough is quick to take your money and quick to preform shoddy work your vehicle and charge an outrageous price... Diamond oil change service $55.00 out the door for what? (I previously brought it up to another tire shop that replaced a flat but they assured me it was the right size) I initially called D&A tires and the customer service and attention was present from the very first phone conversation. From the start, Danny covered all bases by asking me the right questions and verifying the tire size and make that were compatible with my vehicle. He ended up provided me a better (and safer) solution within my budget. When I finally showed up at the shop, he along with rest of the staff showed me the same patience and attentiveness throughout my on site experience.
