This review is both a thank you and bad review of Southeast. A thank you only to Mr. Paul Tolbert the regional manager who had to step in to get my work completed and a review that I recommend Southeast be AVOIDEDno matter what. I was steered to this shop after a tense exchange with a partner organization of theirs. My car had an engine light on and after three attempts and assurances that the problem was fixed, which included coming to pick the car up only for the light to come on before I left their parking lot. They continued to tell me an intake senor was faulty which had a warranty, but it was obvious that if this part was the problem, it shouldn't have had to be replaced three times. Logical right? This I explained to Mr. Tolbert who agreed with me and therefore paid for the replacement, (parts and labor) of my intake manifold. I was very grateful and proceeded to make up my mind to continue working with Southeast in the future. This was until i picked my car up the last time. I was informed that a sensor that was ordered was the wrong part and that Terrell would order another. He informed me that he used the senor from the old manifold, and it should be fine, but if the light came back on he'd take care of it. Silly me for believing him, but the following week he had his receptionist tell me that there was no need to order the part as the light didn't come back on. The problem with this logic is that the total repair WASN'T COMPLETED. Yes, I had the problem paid for but this was after putting out more than $1200 dollars and having to take the car back three times in 60 days. Was that worth it? Not to me. The bottom line is that they (Terrell) lied saying he'd order a part then decided once I left that he was thru with us. That is fine. It's obvious they don't want further business with me so I want nothing more to do with them. Proceed at your own risk. read more
