One of my friends tweeted that it was "Truck Exhaust + Good Eats". That kind of sums it up. That being said there were also huge lines, I waited for about an hour for MaFooCo and my friend waited an hour and a half for Planet of the Crepes. The food that was well worth the wait, but like a boy scout you should be prepared. Take heed if you plan on going to an event like this, get here when it starts to avoid the long lines or divide and conquer sending members of your group to different trucks and sample together. Our group was able to hit 5 different hot-spot trucks using the divide and conquer approach. Seating is limited so if you have some folding chairs they will come in handy. There is a huge value in this event for those of us who don't work near a food truck. It's a casual and inexpensive way to get to try foods off the beaten path. I will definitely be at the next Round-up!

For once, Indian Fry Bread at reasonable prices (not like the vendors at the 4th Ave Street Fair). The staff is super friendly and deliver orders reasonably quickly (in less than 10 minutes, despite moderately long line). The fry bread is freshly fried and of medium-large size (about 8-9 inches in diameter). The red chili was quite good, if a tiny bit runny, so be sure to grab plenty of napkins and don't try to eat this walking or driving, Lol. My New Go-To Burger Spot in NW Tucson!…read more I live in the area and have always defaulted to Five Guys for my burger cravings--until now. I've visited this place four times since May 2026, and it has completely won me over. I can't find a burger joint like this anywhere else in NW Tucson! The Food I've tried nearly all of their burgers, and they are consistently fantastic. The flavor and juiciness are excellent, but the Cheddar Bomb Burger is AMAZING--an absolute must-try. The sides are great too; I highly recommend getting the Cajun fries. Price & Service The pricing is rock solid. For the exact same price you'd pay at Five Guys, you get a burger and fries that are leagues better in both quality and taste. The service is also incredibly fast. On a recent visit, I stopped by just for the food (I wasn't even shopping), ordered my burger to-go, and it was in my hands within just a few minutes. Location Thoughts Right now, the restaurant is tucked back in the outlet mall's food court. I genuinely hope they consider moving to a better, more prominent location so the business can truly blossom. A spot in the Arizona Pavilions or across the highway on Cortaro would be perfect. The only real competitor over there is In-N-Out, which frankly isn't even competition compared to this place, in my opinion. I'll definitely be back and will update this review with some pictures next time--if I can remember to snap a photo before I dig in!

Ol Pot Hole is officially a new go-to stop for us!…read more We had the #1 burger on the menu and it was amazing. The fries were great too, and the Southwest seasoning was SO good. Our server actually recommended that seasoning specifically because it paired best with the burger we chose -- such a small detail, but it made a difference! We also tried the BBQ chicken fries, which were delicious and a HUGE portion. Definitely come hungry! The service really stood out. Being in a food court, we weren't necessarily expecting that level of personal attention, which made it even more memorable. Great recommendations, great food, and genuinely great service. This is now a go-to stop anytime we're driving through or shopping nearby. Definitely worth stopping for!

Service was amazing and food cooked to order. Let's start with the main event: the wings. These bad boys are big. Not your average, skimpy winglets--these are full, meaty, and satisfying with every bite. The skin is perfectly crispy, the kind that crunches just right and still locks in that juicy tenderness underneath. But what really sets them apart is the sauce. It's a "sweet heat" situation that hits all the right notes--just enough sugar to balance out the spice, and just enough spice to keep you coming back for more. It doesn't overpower; it enhances. On the side, don't sleep on the fries. These aren't frozen, run-of-the-mill throwaways--they're homemade, golden, and seasoned with care. You can taste the difference, and they round out the meal in the most satisfying way. Whether you're a wing connoisseur or just hungry for something legit, CP's Wings makes it worth the trip. Crispy, saucy, and seriously delicious.

Birria Munchies Truck - A Total Hit…read more Birria Munchies Truck pulled up to my apartment complex on Tuesday, and let me tell you, the hype was real. They sold out fast, and when they came back on Thursday, I made sure I was first in line no way I was risking missing out twice. Their menu is incredibly easy to read, streamlined, and straight to the point: it's all about the birria. They keep the payment process simple too, cash or card, no drama, just efficiency. I ordered a birria taco and a mulita, which is basically a double-tortilla birria quesadilla situation, and both were absolute standouts. Prices are on point, especially for the quality. You can literally smell the birria before you even get close to the truck. The meat is juicy and seasoned perfectly; you can taste every layer of flavor. And the cheese? I'm convinced they're using Oaxaca cheese because it is incredibly rich and melts just right. I'm not sure where their permanent spot is, but if you ever see Birria Munchies Truck out in the wild, do yourself a favor and stop. This truck is absolutely worth chasing down. Thank you, Birria Munchies! See you next time you swing by

I checked out Churrolicious at Breakaway Music Festival. First off, how can you not like a food…read moretruck with a name like this?! I love churros so I was excited to check them out. Ambiance (N/A): They're a food truck and they were posted up as part of a music festival so ambiance wasn't a part of the experience. Service (5/5): I was greeted with a smile, my order was taken promptly, and I received my food quickly. Pretty much everything you want from a food truck, especially during a busy festival. Drinks (N/A): While they do have beverages, I only foot good. Food (3/5): Their food truck mostly consists of desserts (though they do have nachos too). And this was a bit of a surprise: they have more than churros. They also have cheesecake bites. And they don't even have full-size churros, just churro bites. What is cool is that you choose your drizzle and toppings (for an additional charge though). I did the churro bites with Nutella drizzle (for an extra dollar). The toppings are $2 extra. And you have your choice 10 or so drizzles and 10 or so toppings. I love churros. When you think of a solid churro, it should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. With a good amount of cinnamon sprinkled on the top. These churro bites were a bit over-fried. Which greatly impacted their quality. The Nutella helped, but it could only do so much. Operating at a food truck festival is a tough proposition. Food vendors have long lines and they have to deliver quickly. Which often leads to a decrease in food quality. Outside of a festival, I wonder if their churro bites hit at a higher level.

My guests were able to go up to the window and order what they wanted from a predetermined menu. They were greeted by the same amazingly friendly employees. The tacos and Sonora dogs were of the same fantastic quality as they were on my previous trips. They set up a salsa bar outside the truck so we could dress our tacos.
