My boyfriend and I decided to go out tonight for dinner. We were originally going to go out to Millbury but decided to stay closer to home.... Should have gone to Millbury... We decided to go to Teddy G's. Now, while the food was decent, the service was not. We were sat in the back and all we could smell was urine from the bathrooms. It was awful. And our waitress clearly did not enjoy her job. I tried on 2 occasions to speak with her and she just walked off. I doubt we will ever come back here again. Clean your bathrooms, please. There are exactly two steps involved in cooking chicken wings. 1: cooking them. 2: coating them in sauce. Ive had a ton of wings in my life but never before have I been served them completely sauceless Absolutely famished I ate most of them anyway but how anyone could possibly forget 1 of 2 steps in cooking a very simple food is unknown to me When we eventually saw the waitress she offered to bring me a side cup of sauce for my remaining two wings. At a current cost of $14 for 10 of them I don't think its too much to ask for them to come as ordered. Food is okay. Took entirely too long for my food. Server Dan was more interested in what or who was at that bar. As I was leaving I noticed a few employee at the bar playing keno and having drinks. How that's professional is beyond me. Next time I'll make sure to ask for a different server. Kid seems competent yet was spaced out and I'm sorry but I dont agree with workers sitting at the bar. read more

We visited this restaurant on June 30th. We waited For almost an hour for our meals. The waitress never said anything to us, we had to ask her what was going on. Many other people got served their meals who sat down well after us. The waitress came back and stated the kitchen had never taken the chicken out. We said we had to leave and wanted the check. 15 minutes later a different waitress tried to bring us our food. My meal sat around while they cooked the others. When manager finally came over he never apologize. Never mind my daughter attempted to talk to him and he ignored her and addressed his comments toward me. Not at all a good experience while on vacation and traveling to Sturbridge (which we visit every summer). We'd been to Teddy G's once in the past with family and wanted to spend the evening with our adult children, having a couple drinks. We were seated and asked what we wanted to drink. The four of us ordered water, and an alcoholic beverage. The waitress asked for id and had a blunt affect. She looked several times at our son & his girlfriend. Her reply was, "Six days apart huh?". We all confirmed and waited for 5-10 minutes. Along came the manager who asked if we were "the ones with the Kansas id's." We acknowledged and he asked if he could take them because he was going to have them verified with a black light & a verification book in the back. He also looked at us, and asked if we were their parents and "co-signed" on their legitimacy of age. I explained that we were his parent (she his gf of 4 years) and that I had him when I was young (18). At this point we still had not even gotten water or any other type of service. He came back later and explained that he didn't have the equipment to verify the id's and was choosing not to serve us. I asked if there was anything more we could do beyond providing valid id's as we would do so and would ultimately like to stay. He apologized and said the owner wasn't there & nothing more anyone could do. We left very confused and partially frustrated. I called the restaurant back nearly an hour later and asked to speak with the manager again. He was willing to listen as I explained that we had done everything correctly and as frustrating as it all was, it was disappointing that we couldn't even get water, an order put in, etc with all the time that was spent consumed. Making it really feel like we were completely refused any form of service. I went on to further explain that we would very much like to not leave with a bad taste in our mouth since we own a cabin in the area and travel every summer to the location. The manager indicated that he would relay a message to the owner and that maybe they could get equipment available the next day & we could try it again. The family was out at a local brewery when we decided to grab some dinner. We ended up here at Teddy' G's and are glad we did. Located in a little strip mall, the inside was good size. We ate outside and the area was small, but still good. The manager was attentive and sat us outside, then our server Sarah took over. She was a great waitress, who interacted with us and gave good advice about food and drinks. We ended up with a bunch of different meals, starting with the Mediterranean calamari. I then had the bourbon street burger, perfectly cooked and what tasted like homemade bbq sauce. Son had the Mac Attack burger, a burger topped with macaroni and cheese. He loved it and it was cooked correctly. My daughter and her BF has a strawberry salad and then the chicken bacon ranch pizza. They enjoyed both and I snuck a slice of the pizza and it was good. Wife had the meatball panini. She said sauce and meatballs were definitely homemade and the sandwich was messy and tasty. 2nd visit here and again we enjoyed ourselves. Very crowded Friday. Food was very good. Service was super friendly but we wished just a little quicker. Took forever to get my wife's second wine and my glass of ice and she never brought the grated cheese for my wife. Ended up asking another waitress and she got it for us within 10 seconds. Be careful when you order a large beer. I forgot they have a 34 oz draft. I just wanted the 24oz. My bad on that one because I ordered a large Coors light and that is what I got. Once the truth came out, they were rude to anyone who asked about it and removed all COVID-19 related posts from their Facebook page. For this lack of decency, they get a one-star review. I have honestly, never had such good food at a sports bar (that's what we call them back home:) You MUST get the pretzels and beer cheese! Ok, moving on... The staff is sweet and the decor is... sporty? It's pretty loud and frequented by locals. You can get the best secret places to go if you friendly up to a local! So, great food, cool staff, generous bar, and yet it's family friendly too! I'm sure you need to find this gem and try it out. You can literally order anything off the menu and you'll be impressed! Came here for lunch on our way to a quick visit to Sturbridge Village. It was everything you fellow Yelpers said it was: good food that comes out quickly, good value, plenty of parking. We were seated immediately. Nobody seemed to mind our twonager's desire to take a few laps around the dining room. They are a coke place. The fact they serve coke is very important to me! :) I got the Philly cheese steak, but instead of American cheese, I asked for swiss. Ask and ye shall receive! Glad because I freaking hate the joke that is American "cheese" slices. The taste ruins every meal. If someone lies and says "Oh it's cheddar" or whatever, the creamy fake cheese flavor gives it away immediately.... anyway....nobody duped me. It was really swiss cheese. They put a LOT on it too, which is nice! The sandwich was too big for me though. They are extremely generous in the amount of meat/mushrooms/peppers/onions (and cheese as said before). I couldn't finish it. In fact, most of what I ate is what fell out of the bread onto the plate. It was also greasy-- note I am JUST describing this sandwich- philly cheese steaks are SUPPOSED to be greasy, so that is NOT a criticism. It was just hard for me to eat. It also comes with waffle chips which were good! They weren't salty, so it took a bit of getting used to. I would get the chips again but I probably would try another sandwich. My friend got the buffalo chicken pizza. (I had gotten one yesterday in Plymouth so I inspired her. i'm very inspiring, you know). She had similar comments to my comments from the other restaurant's pizza-- very good, not too spicy, but TOO much bleu cheese. Hers was also pretty potent. She did take leftovers though! My husband got the chicken saltambaca (sp?). It didn't seem to have as much filling as my cheese steak did (same bread), so it looked easier to eat. He liked it! He said it had a lot of good flavor. Instead of chips, he got onion rings. OMG those onion ring are really goood...thin and perfectly crispy. They are probably my favorite onion rings. I'm jealous I didn't get them. It's ok though, bc our twonager fed me some. he likes to take food off our plates and feed to the other parent. He's like a mother bird, feeding her chicks. But thankfully not all food he puts in his mouth has been chewed. Stopped for a quick lunch on Super Bowl Sunday and chose to sit at the bar. Service was a little spotty from being acknowledged after sitting down to having an exceptionally long wait for salad, soup and wings while four different people who had come later than I received their orders well in advance of me. I think there are some kitchen difficulties as well as communication issues between waitstaff and kitchen. It's too bad really as the food was pretty good and at a minimum would have been 3 stars possibly higher if service was where it needed to be. I think management needs to focus on expediting orders and getting waitstaff to really hone down on their service skills. I would not go out of my way to return. read more

If it's nice out you can sit outside on the patio under umbrellas we loved it. The food here was really good I thought it was just a smidge overpriced but I understand it's a touristy area so they can get people to pay $6 for a bowl of soup. The fish was really good my husbands steak tips were on point. Our waitress was not that good. She forgot my water a couple times, she forgot the steak sauce until the meal was almost done. My boyfriend and I chose this place because it was close to our hotel. We had a couple nice beers and a seafood platter. We were seated by ourself so it was kind a romantic. The food was pretty good. My only complaint is the waiter seem to be rushing us along. There weren't that many people in the bar considering it was only a Monday. So I don't know why he was trying to rush us out of there. I could see this being a local version of Cheers. It is a large and very comfortable space. Lots of TVs tuned to sports channels. I nice big bar, and a very friendly staff. Our food came no mayo and my burger was over cooked well done to the point it was tuff and rubbery. When the watress brought the food we asked for my mayo and some ketchup for the fries. Mom ate 3/4 of her meal, I drank my whole drink and ate all the oion rings and waitress never came back. I got up went inside and to the bar and asked if I could get an other drink and the mayo so I could eat my now cold burger. Bartender was very nice and got them both right away for me. Put the mayo on my now cold burger and started to eat to find out it was very well done and over cooked. I was so hungry at that point and my Mom had finished her lunch so I just tryed to eat it rather than walking back inside back to bartender seeing waitress was no place to be found. About 3/4 through the burger was so tuff I chocked and had to go to bathroom to vomit it back up. While I was in the bathroom my mother walked around looking for waitress to get the bill so we could pay and leave. Again waitress never came back aftef she dropped the plates on the table. We could have walked out and I do not think she would have known it. When I got back to the table from the bathroom I took the bill from Mom and for the third time went to look for waitress to pay bill. I walked with her to the register where she rang in my bill and I gave her cash. she said she would be right back with my change she had to go get some. Once again she never came back. By this time I had stood next to the register waiting while my mother went to the bathroom came back and then went to the car as she could not stand an longer. For the 4th time I had to go looking for the waitress this time to get my change. Found her sitting at the car talking away. I would have had a better meal at MacDondald and a lot better service, I woud not have spend all my time chasing a waitress to get part of food order, drinks, pay for meal, or get my change. read more

Have lived down the street for 3 years and finally gave it ago when we were given a gift card, thank god it wasn't my money we spent! The entire restaurant had a scent I could only compare to a dead body or a Chuck E. Cheese. We arrived right after they opened, and the bathroom was disgusting with over flowing trash, hinting that it was never cleaned the night before either. This was my second time here. I still don't like the food. Service was good. I tried Mussels and Calamari Fra Diavlo. Was supposed to be on linguine but came on angel hair. Half of the mussel shells were still closed tight. Sauce was minimal and watery with almost no spice. We also had Buffalo chicken mac n cheese which was good.
