    The Man Of The Hour!
    Al V.

We needed a space for a 90th birthday party for 80 people on a Saturday afternoon and, after talking to one of the managers at TED's, we knew right away that we had found the perfect fit. We were able to reserve the main dining area with room for people to sit or stand, and the acoustics were good for multiple groups to chat and catch up without it overwhelming the room. We selected a mixture of appetizers that the kitchen kept replenished, hot and ready. Everybody raved about the meat balls! We were also able to arrange for an open bar. Our party was from 1pm-4pm, which worked out perfectly to allow for an hour of setup before the party and an hour after to allow TED's to reconfigure the room for dining at 5pm. This party could not have turned out better! There was plenty of room for people to mingle, places to sit down with a plate of food, and easy access to the man-of-the-hour. The pricing for this event was extremely reasonable, and there was no fee to reserve the room. Our servers were Jodi and Heather, and they were friendly and efficient, keeping the drinks flowing for the entire group without missing a beat! I highly recommend TED's for a medium to large sized private party. They will work with you to pick out food your guests will enjoy and will take care of them like royalty when they get to the party. Thanks Jen, Jodi and Heather!!

The atmosphere is very homey. Everything is basically an upscale diner, without being overly fancy. Both I and my Aunt ordered the Texas Pot Roast ($19). Which is Barbecue roasted beef, piled high on garlic potatoes & spiralized carrots brushed with sweet onion BBQ sauce. The Roast beef wad perfectly cooked and very tender and delicious. The Onion barbecue sauce was excellent and went amazing with everything. The potatoes were delicious and even though I don't really like carrots, they definitely belonged. The only thing I would change is I would drizzle some of the BBQ sauce over the entire meal, not just on the roast beef. We both added a Side Salad ($6). It was a little pricey, however it was a good size and was very tasty. The Dressings also were A+. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall an easy 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, I wish I lived closer.

    Giant Soft Pretzel

The giant pretzel was AMAZING! It was served with a delicious bacon cheese sauce. The boneless wings were good, but the parmesan garlic sauce was just ok. The ranch dressing was some of the best!

Flavors of the food was all good. The brisket queso is perfect. I would like to try more of the shareable s. They had a limited menu right now but service didn't seem slow and we didn't seem to have to wait extra long for food and we went on a Saturday evening. This might be the key for other restaurants to follow suit right now make your menu more selective so you can serve people in a timely manner and not wear out your staff. Highly recommend TED'S!

Ted's is absolutely our go to while in Spring Lake! The food is always on point, fresh, a great variety of menu options. The green tie pasta (with added brisket) is a regular craving of mine and even better when you add a cup of the brisket queso soup.

My dad has a boat in Grand Haven so my husband and I were just visiting. This restaurant has a great menu with tons of space. Good drink specials too. The food was amazing, we had the club sandwich and wings. Large portions so definitely share!!! Highly recommend if you're in the area. Great staff as well!

The indoor/ outdoor space blends together in the warmer months with cool hangout spaces and game areas. This place is truly a work of art. Drink lists abound, but because it was lunchtime we stuck to food. We were not disappointed. Everything was well conceived and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the bone bread next time, stew and scrumptious sounding salads. Today we had the kids smash burger, Brussels burger with frites and fried haddock and frites with a delicious coleslaw. The best part? Different sauces to choose to dip the fries in. The curry ketchup was the best (special shout out for *actually* cooking the curry into the ketchup) as it did not taste of raw curry. They definitely don't cut corners here. We noticed, and we appreciated it. We will be back.

Yes, they have a small parking lot, and don't fret if you have the park on the street like we did, as we were seating promptly and it didn't feel too crowded. Since we were seated at high tops near the bar, the bar tender was our waitress, and she is literally the nicest, good energy, engaging human ever! She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!

WoW, I couldn't have been more wrong. We were greeted by a gal updating signs, food to the right & beer to the left. She was laughing with us, not at us, which is a great start. We ordered tacos cuz they're tacos & one should have them at every opportunity. Both were solid options with fun twists, a nice addition to our drinks. Once the food order was in, we headed to the drink counter & the gent working was quick to ask our drink preferences/dislikes & make suggestions. It is an adorable restaurant, very comfortable, and smells like grandma has been cooking all day on a Sunday. Our server was INCREDIBLE, brutally honest when we asked questions or for her opinion. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo and noted that it was very bland with "crunchy" pieces throughout. I ordered the shrimp scampi, on recommendation of our server, and the dish itself was incredible, but the shrimp were very small and so rubbery and overcooked that they were nearly hard to chew. I told my husband that I would love that dish without the shrimp, as the shrimp detracted from the dish overall. We were a little disappointed they didn't offer any sort of salad or bread service. My house Pinot Grigio was tasty and paired great with our meal.
