I called ABT and spoke with Lou (his direct # 847-954-4140). I did some research before I called and liked the Samsung 55." 4K NEO QLED, originally $1,297.99, on sale for $897.99. Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Josh was quick-witted and a comedian; he had my mother laughing. You certainly can tell when an employee loves their job! He matched a McIntosh integrated amp with a pair of Dali Epicon speakers and a REL subwoofer. He came out to the house, set-up the entire thing and even corrected errors on my video system. The results were incredible. I could not be happier with the component choices and the musicality of the system. It has a great sound stage. He noticed that Simply Stereo was listed on Salamander's website as a premier dealer. He sent an email inquiring about coming in to see some items in person, and we headed there on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted right away by Dave, who was helping a customer carry something out to their car. When he came back in, he listened to what we were there for and showed us upstairs to one of the listening rooms. He patiently answered approximately five million questions from my husband and, as luck would have it, what they had on display almost exactly matched what we were looking for. They were able to to get fiddly with the details of what looking at side panel options and determining how the tv mount connects. It was a no brainer to make our purchase from Simply Stereo. The price was excellent and the customer service was top notch. From the email through purchase, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back in the future - I think a few speakers caught my husband's eye while we were wandering the store.

We had a Tornado Warning in the area and my boyfriend and I were on our way home from Elmhurst(we live in St. Charles). We were thinking about driving through it, but then it got really bad. We parked at this Target and ran as fast as we could to the doors, getting soaked. Carts were rolling all over, the wind was blowing so strong. My boyfriend even lost his hat from the wind. We got the the door (it was locked for the safety of the people inside) and immediately somebody rushed to let us in. Once we got in, the Target management very quickly ushered everyone to Target's fire hall, an area where we could be safe. Target employees passed out water bottles, and we were there for about 15-20 minutes until the worst of storm had passed. My boyfriend and I weren't planning on going to Target today, but circumstance forced us to. I suffer from anxiety, and this storm scared me. I was so relieved that the Target employees helped us get inside, and get everyone safe during a scary time for me. All of the employees were so kind and had their stuff so together in a time that could have been so panicky. I had brought my Epson XP-810 to Cheryl a few years back at the old location. I had initially taken…read moreit to my local repair shop that is an HP repair shop and I don't think they knew what to do with an inkpad replacement (they weren't able to reset the electronic counter right, since it went off again shortly after). Cheryl checked the inkjet pad but more importantly tried to see if the main black lines for the printer could be revived after they were probably clogged with using unreliable black pigment ink. She was informed in talking about the printer which encouraged me to pickup another one used and stop using bulk black pigment ink in a refillable cartridge (but I still do with dye ink for the colors and photo black.)

I go in to get this done and am told to wait 40 minutes in store. I settle in, and am told that actually they can't help me because their new system actually doesn't work with my car.
