I have CPU tower I haven't used for over a year and half and when I finally got my apartment, I put it together hoping everything will turn out good but all I had was a dark screen. Couldn't think of the reason why it wasn't turning on and almost went buy a new computer then I brought it to Eddie's team without making an appointment, and to see what was the problem. It turned out to be all my drivers was out of date. Eddie updated all my software and programs I had. Then Eddie also noticed that my computer was very slow and suggested that I get SSD drive instead of the old HDR and went right back to Eddie the following week to have him install it. I was having major intermittent connectivity issues with 3 visits from spectrum techs including a level 2 tech in 2 wks. After a new modem, line, and drop installed, they confirmed the connectivity was green and not dropped on their end. Replaced eero router to latest eero pro 6 but still had ongoing issues. Spectrum recommended IT so I yelped for someone in the area and Bob from TechCare responded immediately and sent Mike out within the hour. Wow!! Mike was beyond professional, kind, patient, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure he could fix a possible unstable ISP DNS issue by changing to google DNS plus checking out the Ethernet switch. I had a HP laptop that was no longer supported by HP. TechCare not only repaired it, they accomplished it the same day! And the cherry on the top was the reasonable charge. I was so impressed I took my MacBook Pro to them. I was not disappointed. 3 years ago I had the same issue and it took several days to have it repaired at another shop. Excellent shop and service. Took my custom pc in that ran through some issues. I use a third party software that helps me update drivers and other general software. One day, it went through an update and problems started happening. Something in my pc was corrupted and wouldn't load. I tried everything in my power to fix it but had no luck. On Labor Day I stepped on the power adapter cord for my laptop in just the right spot for it to break the port. My battery drained and I was without a computer. I am leaving the country permanently in a few days. I desperately needed my computer. I sent an inquiry to TechCare. I was pleasantly surprised that they responded back on a holiday. They said that they could help and could get it repaired in a couple of days. When I dropped it off the next morning I asked him if there was any way that they could repair it the same day. When my laptop wouldn't start I took it into TechCare. This was my first visit to this establishment but I can say that it will not be the last. They were kind and knowledgeable and kept me up to date on the progress of my laptop. In the end they weren't able to find the motherboard my laptop required which was rather infuriating. This was of no fault to TechCare who were compassionate about the fact that I just lost a computer less than two years old. They waived the labor fee for this visit which was extremely kind of them and not something I would have expected. I highly recommend this company for your repair needs. My Microsoft excel was acting up. When I tried to retrieve my data, it looked like it was in a foreign language. I need my laptop for work so it is difficult for me to leave it to be repaired for an extended period of time. I walked in without an appointment, explained my dilemma and they said that they could probably have it fixed in under two hours. In way under two hours, I received a call informing me that my laptop was ready to be picked up. They also found issues with my other Microsoft products and fixed those as well. These guys were nice and service was good, but they made my problem worse. I built a custom PC and was having crashing issues. I brought the whole tower in for them to inspect and after about 24 hours they told me it was either a bad MB or a bad PSU. Tried replacing both of those, and problem still persisted. Brought it into another shop and they were immediately able to tell me it was the CPU. replaced that and now everything works great. Tech Care charged me 50 dollars to lead me down a rabbit hole. read more

I am so happy I had seen a Tech Care car driving around, they were really helpful to me during the stay at home order. My computer had a cracked screen and I called around needing it fixed in a rush. Tech Care drove out to my address and picked it up within hours of me calling and was really responsive with me throughout the day. Eventually they realized it was a problem with the motherboard and recommended I reach out to the manufacturer instead because repair would have been spendy. When I picked it up they didn't charge me at all! Not for originally driving over or the analysis. I highly recommend using them for electronic repair. read more

Oh my goodness, when my 14-year-old Dell 11 pound laptop started "acting funny" I simply did not know what to do. There's probably a more technical term for not being able to get Wi-Fi however, It best describes what was happening to my ancient laptop which I maybe pull out and use once a year. Hey, it has a great Xcel!!! My point is I am completely inept in this department . Even Dell, wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I wrote down an entire half page of all the four syllable reasons they gave me. I started dialing LA-based computer technicians. Since I am a small job and they are probably dealing with a laptop that should be allowed to die gracefully, finding someone who would even speak with me was not so easy. Until I dialed Tech Care on Robertson. Eddie did not talk down to me or try to confuse me, he listened to my babbling, then warmly invited me to bring my computer in. He kept me informed of all of the issues, the probable cost, and he never made me feel like it was hopeless. I spilled water on my Thinkpad, and was referred to Eddie at Techcare mid-February 2011. They ran $50 (which would be credited towards further repair fees) to get a diagnosis on the notebook, which was fine. Within a day they called me back and gave me the diagnosis - they took it apart and found where the water damage occurred in the keyboard, cpu, and motherboard. okay. I went in, paid for the initial inspection, and asked Eddie for an estimate to get these parts replaced (for my warranty coverage). He returned my notebook to hold onto until he could get estimates for the replacement parts and labor fees. He would get back to me by the weekend. The weekend passes, and no contact. I needed to get my notebook running again asap, so after a few days I try again by phone, email, and even messages through their website to get in touch with Eddie. Unreachable. It has now been a month since the start of this process. I have yet to receive an estimate and I have long since given up on trying to get this repair going with Techcare. I guess they didn't want the business? I don't get it. They seemed friendly and helpful enough. I can't speak for their reliability. read more

Anyways...my husband's computer got a spyware virus this morning; it was the kind that locked your screen and said you had to pay for a virus scanner update in order unlock. $60 and it's total a scam! Well... my hubby's got no patience when it comes to computer problems and after hearing a few choice phrases coming from the office, I picked up the Batphone.
