I have no idea why this place is getting only 3.5 stars. We had already looked online and seen that the phone had to be put in recovery mode, which would delete everything on it. But following the steps to do that wasn't working.Gadget Pro said they could do a factory reset for $40 but we would lose everything on the phone. We were already reconciled to that, so we said go ahead. It only took an hour, and when we came back they said it worked and now all we had to do was sign in with the Apple ID and password. When I reminded them that this was the problem in the first place, they said contact Apple support and they'll unlock it for you. Apple support did unlock it after we provided them with proof that we had purchased the phone 2 years ago. Unlocking it also did a factory reset. Then we were able to set it up again with a new Apple ID and password (which I wrote down and stored). So Gadget Pro was nice and did what they said they would do pretty efficiently, but it didn't solve the problem I had brought to them. I paid them $40 to do something that was useless and unnecessary.
