I asked the dude to make sure it's only 25% sweet but not sure what happen, it was Wayyyyyy too sweet. I know if he would of made it correctly I would of given them 5 stars. I get it. On a busy day, waiting twenty minutes for a drink is normal. This I don't mind at all. What I do mind is when an employee named "Jeremy" comes in, on his day off, and makes himself three during peak hours and leaves. All the while, the working employee is screaming for help in a playful but decides to chat away while several customers are still waiting. I'm not sure how this place is managed but there is ZERO sense of urgency here. It didn't help that there was also a line with others waiting. Honorable mention also goes to the opened bag of kettle chips and a thermos water bottle sitting on top of the front-facing refrigerator. I'm glad there are plenty of other options And "Jeremy", next time have the sense to wait and make yourself drinks after customers are tended to. I stopped by this Teaspoon today right when they open after I returned a package at the Amazon Fresh next door. I think the guy working today was still trying to wake up because he really wasn't that talkative when I walked in. The energy I felt just wasn't there even when I told him that this was my first time ever at a Teaspoon. I got my wife her Thai Tea and asked for easy ice, no boba and no cream. I asked for easy sweetness but he told me they don't do that here so I took it as is. I didn't realize that the cream was the half and half so I was surprised when the drink came out and it didn't look like Thai tea. While the guy was making my drink, I went to use the bathroom which is a all gender bathroom. They have some seating inside of this place but there also outside seating as well. Great service and friendly staff here! As I have come time and time again to this great location I have seen how it's only gotten cuter over time. There are little cute trinkets of cultural icons. The staff is super friendly and helpful with what drink to choose as well and you can tell you're talking to your neighbors when coming here. They're all very kind and have always walked me through great pairings for my teas. The Dirty Ube was especially good as I'm always looking for ways to add a little caffeine to my drink. I read online that the golden brew came with a hazelnut flavor so I didn't think to ask for it when ordering till I saw afterwards, a little side note, available flavors... :( it's ok! I'll definitely be back next time and even though I didn't get a flavor this time, the coffee flavor was brewed perfectly and had the perfect amount of cream and sweetness! I even asked for extra boba because I LOVE having that extra bit, and it was perfect. I was super surprised at the chewiness of their boba pearls. They were super chewy and had a nice, honey/sweet flavor! My bf killed his matcha drink so quickly and my mom enjoyed her mango drink. Overall, this place nailed it and I'm so happy this is nearby to us. Need better boba places up in this area and this really does the job! AND they have bamboo straws which is really good. They had so many good options but I had to try my go-to drink at most places, a matcha drink. I got the matcha royale with whole milk (they have other milk options!) with 75% sweet. Usually, when I get whole milk with my matcha order, it's really hard to taste the matcha over the milk, but this didn't seem to be the issue with the matcha royale. I could still taste the matcha! I actually am a member of the gym right next door to Teaspoon so I've witnessed the construction of this place for the last few weeks. Nice to see it finally open. I dropped in this past weekend. Admittedly it was far too cold for me to get boba so I didn't actually partake in what they were known for. I did instead get the coffee cake, which was staring at me through the glass display case. You can tell they are still ironing out the kinks from being new as they moved at a fairly slow pace. Plus I ordered a piece of bread essentially and it took a while to get to me - compared to Starbucks where they kind of just hand it to you on the spot.
