Ding Tea is a veryyyy clean and pretty cafe located in the heart of Northridge right next to CSUN. My friend and I ordered their Strawberry drinks which were refreshing and tasted exactly like sweet, summer strawberries with a splash of cream flavor. They were both great and were made to order which was great because we had the option to customize our drinks. Our drinks were made quickly which gave us plenty of time for my friend and I to sit down at one of their many tables available for inside seating, enjoy our drinks and catch up. I couldn't provide all five stars as I would have liked due to my stomach being a little bloated after having the drink. I am sensitive to certain sugar alcohols and flavorings but if you do not have these issues, no need to exhaust caution. I will be back to try more drinks from their menu. read more

Upon entering the store, the ambience is eye catching (5 stars); It is a popular place for college students to study or have a coaching session! It has a big shared parking lot. My first drink is signature milk tea, whose tea flavor is very weak - thank a friendly and smiling staff, Leyah for remedy to add some coffee jelly to my drink, which immediately enhanced the tea taste - her service is 5 stars; The Lychee Green Tea is very good, especially the Lychee jelly, which is soft and chewy, delivering a flavor of fresh lychee fruit (4.5 stars); Toro Oreo is also very good with an excellent presentation (5 stars); Boba is soft, elastic and chewy (5 stars); If you love coffee, you may find some Ding Tea's drinks are too weak in flavor - this might be the fact that it uses powders instead of tea leaves to make a tea drink. A wish list: a real coffee drink will be added to its menu in the future (Note: Recently, the Teaspoon chain store added a Vietnamese coffee drink to its menu for attracting some coffee lovers!). I didn't realize I haven't reviewed this spot yet, but this location is a frequent go-to for me and my boyfriend! We love to come here when we are craving a little sweet treat. The drinks here always hit the spot, and recently I got the lychee slush with only 30% sugar, and it was still super yummy!! My go-to drinks are the iced oolong milk tea, and sometimes I add the golden boba. It's always chewy, delicious and never cooked bad. The staff here always handles things well. She found this lovely quite place not too far from csun! Its crazy this place was kinda new and i haven't been around the area for awhile. A wonderful spot to hang out at and sip some delicious drinks!! I enjoyed every drink I've had so far here and I have been able to get some quality studying in at this spot. There is relaxing space for customers and the sound of drinks being made isn't overly loud or annoying. The music is perfect for the place and I don't have any problems at all coming here. Much better than when they first opened! The drinks are consistently good now and taste similar to other Ding Tea locations. Their drinks are a bit sweet despite getting less sweet though. I've had Ding Tea often at other locations in LA and OC so I'm glad they're bringing more franchises out to the SFV. Out of all of the ones I visited, this location has had the best interior. It's so pretty and has a ton of seating for big parties. There should be plenty of parking spaces since it's in a plaza so you don't have to worry about that. Service was really great and fast - made ordering and getting my drinks a breeze. I think I'll have to go again though. I had no idea that Ding Tea was a chain spot, and I'm so glad it is. It's the cutest little bubble tea shop I've ever seen. They have plenty of indoor seating, and many people were there studying on laptops, as it's also close to a local college. They had so many options to choose from. I had never tried a lychee drink before, so I went with their peach green tea and, of course, had to add boba. You get to choose your sweetness and ice levels, which I really appreciate. I love Ding Tea. I came here for their grand opening, and while it took 2.5 hours, it was a fun experience and well worth the wait. The staff works as quickly as they can and delivered quality drinks. I love getting the wintermelon milk tea and my husband likes the house milk tea (both with boba, of course). I got their boba plushie for coming to the grand opening, and they let me have a glass bottle for waiting for long. Shoutout to the staff, Sam Loi, the owner, and everyone for this soft opening!! What a beautiful location. The inside is SUPER clean and the decor is soooo CUTE!! They have a cute boba wall which is great for photo opportunities! We walked in around 5:30 and there were a handful of people. Their soft opening today 3/24/2023 went from 5-7pm and was super last minute. Make sure to follow their Instagram page for updates! I saw it on their story and we headed over right away. Not sure who manages their IG page but they have been super responsive even before their opening date! They're all so sweet and welcoming too. What a wonderful staff. My bf and I ordered a regular Signature Milk Tea just to share for the night since we were on our way to get dinner. We'll be back tomorrow morning for their grand opening and raffle event! The ambiance definitely yells brand new interior design, great wall designs for photos with friends and family, lots of seats, and a great place to hangout or study/work. Welcome to Northridge, Ding Tea! It's a great new addition to the growing boba business in the area. Since opening day, I've been here at least 1-2 times per week (perks of wfh). My go to drink is the Hazelnut Milk Tea (50% sweet). I don't really like their fruity drinks that much because they tend to be on sweeter side even when you request less sweet. This venue is a lot bigger than the location in Van Nuys. I'm sure this is great for CSUN students to come and hangout/study! My only complaint/suggestion is that they don't have a rewards program like the other location. read more

Comparing it to other boba locations in northridge, Ding Tea tops it! The staff was welcoming and quick with getting my order ready. I tried the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with golden boba and the Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea (with 70% sugar for both drinks). The jasmine milk tea had a nice aroma and wasn't too sweet to drink. Both my husband and I agreed that it was our favorite! The Oolong milk tea had a light coffee aroma and taste! It was also very delicious! As for the boba, the consistency was soft and chewy. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and the drinks I tried! I will definitely be back to try different flavors! Big Fan! huge location. really great for the CSUN community. plugs under the seats. Great stop for studying or working. parking lot is under construction so be mindful of that when visiting for now. Quick service ordered about 10 drinks and got all the drinks under 10minutes. Tea quality here good - they focus mainly tea drinks and literally only have 3 smoothies.
