I went with the thai tea, and I always enjoy the normal sweetness and tea level the drink has. Always a quick trip here! I enjoy this family-owned establishment. I'm kinda new to Boba, thankfully we were immediately greeted by a friendly man who sensed my inexperience, he asked me if I wanted it blended, answer was yes, then he asked if I wanted passionfruit, coconut, yes!! I've been on the hunt for a solid boba spot that gets milk tea just right -- not overly sweet, not too milky, and with a real depth of tea flavor. My go-to is always a house milk tea, and this place nails it. The tea has a gentle bitterness that reminds you it's actually brewed, and it's balanced perfectly by a touch of sweetness (I get 25% sweet). You get the richness of the tea without it being overpowering, and the milk doesn't drown it out -- it just blends everything together. The only other time I've had milk tea this balanced is in SGV. I've tried spots all over the valley, but nothing quite hit the spot until now. Their passion fruit green tea is just as good. I'm usually not into fruit iced teas because they tend to be too sweet for my taste, but this one is light, crisp, and insanely refreshing (also with 25% sweetness). I can never choose between the two -- thankfully, my husband always gets the passion fruit so I get to steal a "few" sips. Safe to say, we've found our go-to boba spot. read more

Solid boba! We got a large taro milk tea with boba at half sweetness, and it was just right (I'd stick with half sweet!). The boba was sweet and soft, but chewy. Service was friendly, warm, and quick! We also grabbed their crispy chicken, and we decided to go spicy on the spice level. It really did have a little kick, and while the chicken wasn't super juicy, I still really enjoyed it because of the nice crunch from the breading and the flavor. Writing another review after trying their Taiwanese crispy chicken!! It is absolutely delicious! Wow, the breading is seasoned so well and the quality of the chicken is very good. They fried it to perfection. Highly recommended. And yes, we ordered more boba tea---they are made with real cane sugar and cooked fresh. So so so so cute of a place. I believe it's a mom and pop shop. I came right before closing, and managed to get my order in right before closing. Parking isn't plentiful in the plaza, and the interior decor isn't comparable to other boba shops, but support your local businesses! The service is phenomenal; the cashier (husband) was willing to explain and wait for me to decide on a drink even when they wanted to close. I ordered an original milk tea and an earl gray milk tea, both with less sugar, which was perfect! According to the owner, the original milk tea is actually made according to the locals in Taiwan (his wife in Taiwanese!), and it really had a unique taste that I did not taste anywhere else. It was super good, and I seriously recommend it if you're looking for something unique. The earl grey had a really strong tea taste, and less sugar is the way to go! They also respected the less ice request, as I only got about 4 ice cubes total. But OMG, their boba pearls are really good. Chewy, soft, and full of flavor. Although I can't say it's one of the best ones I've had, the quality is up there, and arguable one of the best boba pearls in the valley. Their drinks are also priced below the average "hip" boba shops, yet the quality is better than most I've had in the valley. Aside from interior decor and presentation, this place is probably THE PLACE for those old school mom&pop boba shops, before the boba craze landed in the US with all the modern ones. Really takes me back to the late 2000s when boba was still in its infancy here. Will definitely be coming back here again and ordering the same things. read more

For more than a decade, I've stopped by BTH for a Taro, avocado & tropical paradise or smoothies. Don't call my bluff but sometimes I'll sell my phone for the fish cakes & squid-doe snacks. I'm pretty picky when it comes to boba, and now almost anything food/drink-wise because of recent food sensitivities and allergies. Came here because other reviewers mentioned they brew fresh tea. Kind of a must for a boba elitist. I didn't realize that they also only do non-dairy...and it's some amazing tapioca based milk I had not heard of. Gave a jasmine milk tea boba a try, and I'm thoroughly impressed!! You can tell it's clean but still so flavorful. And the pearls were perfectly chewy. Highly highly recommend!! read more

Stumbled upon this place when getting poke today. The owners are very welcoming and helpful! Loved they had many different options of tea too. He let me sample the Early Grey tea and the Original Milk tea. The original has a little coffee in it and was very good but the Early Grey was amazing and ended up being my choice. I saw they had food too that looked good too but we were already getting poke so definitely next time. The quality was great and also they have two parking spots in front though the parking is a little small. Overall loved it! read more

Honestly out of all the boba spots within a mile radius of CSUN, my honest opinion would say this is the best. As you walk in you are greeted by the individual at the front and ready to answer any questions on their menu. Although the place isn't ran by young students and isn't necessarily "hip", the service is still extremely nice and welcoming.
