Upon entering into the store, I saw the same owner again alone in the counter without any customer. I ordered my favorite drink TARO LOVER Tai Milk with Boba, which is indeed a 5-star drink - See the latest uploaded photo for reference! We chatted the wage increase beginning 1/1/2026, etc. While I was drinking, I told him that drink is so good. All of a sudden, more than dozens of patrons entering into the store to purchase the drinks. The owner must think I am the guy who can bring some lucks to the store in New Year! A good spot for fun drinks :) The staff is always very friendly and drinks come out quickly as well. We had the Banana Matcha Royale and the Strawberry Colada. The banana flavor is natural and subtle which I really enjoyed but I thought the matcha could be stronger. The strawberry colada is a great piña colada flavored drink. Averagely priced and good parking lot. Lobby area could use some attention as some of the tables were sticky and there was some trash on the floor, but overall a nice spot. read more

This shop is super cute and the drinks look even cuter. I did ask for suggestions and I was told to add strawberry and boba to my matcha drink. The drink wasn't very good unfortunately :/ I also felt like I was just given a suggestion not in a genuine way but in a way where the cashier wanted to get me to just finish my order. My husband ordered a Thai tea and it was okay. To be honest, I don't think I'd come back but it was a good stop to have a sweet treat in the moment. read more

Teaspoon is a classic. I have been coming to teaspoon near the Sawtelle for nearly 5 years now! Which is why I was so excited and surprised Teaspoon opened so close to me! Teaspoon's Black Assam drink is one of my favorites and their taro is always higher quality. This particular location is a bit far from sawtelle but still carries its own charm and vibes to the North Valley area! I've been coming since it's opening and this spot never misses. I recommend anyone who wants a boba drink and tea drinks but don't want to drive to the Los Angeles basin! I am a regular and will def continue coming back here for boba drinks. read more

Been here several times and they never disappoint. Staff is always fairly friendly, service is quick, and the place is always clean. I love that everytime I've ordered something, there's no question what the flavor is. I don't want a "strawberry matcha" to have a whisper of strawberry. I want bold flavors. My favorites tend to be the seasonal drinks (the peach was so friggin tasty) and current favorite is the Starlight Sesame. It's nutty and sweet. I almost always order 75% sugar as all their items are way too sweet for me. Have run across a couple that needed 50%. I don't enjoy boba so I can't speak on if it's any good. Parking is a breeze as it's in a huge parking lot. You want a consistently really good milk tea, this is your place! read more

This is a franchise that I don't visit often as there aren't many in the 626 and the only time I've visited was my overly sweet (even with adjustments) visit to the location in NorCal. This was the closest boba place in Porter Ranch where I was visiting without going into a different city/area. There was a good number of customers there and all tables were taken. Make sense as it's one of the few boba places here. They have an app where you can order ahead of time and pick up but from ordering to pick up, it didn't take that long for my order. Unfortunately, the slush type drinks have no option for sweetness adjustment, understandable. I got the Lychee on Lychee which is a black tea topped with lychee jelly. I got this at half sweet. Generally what this does is reduce the sweetness of the drink and enhance the taste of the tea, but instead this just made the drink more watered down and bland. The only thing that gave flavor to it was the lychee jelly that was included. Just like my NorCal experience, this wasn't that great and this was my second time giving them a chance. At the very least the decor is cute. read more

I used to love this place, but recently every time I order a drink it never tastes the way it used to, it's always watered down and you can tell whoever made it did not care. The measurements and rations are always wrong. Workers are always laughing and gossiping when you enter the store and you have to wait for them to finish talking to take notice of you so that doesn't help. I also got a drink with solid "crumbs" in it, and I got a new one for free (after the guy tried to say it was normal) that basically tasted like milk with sugar, I was not going to return it again, because they wouldn't have made it taste right anyway. I don't know if the manager is on a really long vacation but maybe he should do a check up on the quality and the workers. I used to come here almost everyday but I'm gonna find a different place and not waste any more money on them. : / read more

Was visiting a friend in the area and they recommended Teaspoon. We came around Thursday 5:30 and it wasn't busy. We stayed for a while playing sabobatage and it got busier around 6:30pm. I got the banana milk with honey boba 75% sweet and bf got the seasonal lychee watermelon drink 50%. Both drinks were amazing! The place is clean. Theres a few tables. read more

I'm not sure what happened to Teaspoon but the quality has been going down. I used to come here at least 1-2 times per week. Lately, the drinks have been inconsistent especially with the sweetness level. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back anytime soon. read more

Modern, bright and cozy boba spot in Porter Ranch. On a boba date with my niece. We enjoyed our visit. Nice seating. She got a mango smoothie with strawberry popping boba and I got my usual Jasmine milk tea boba. My drink was ok. My niece loved her drink. She gave ot a 4.5. Not many snacks available for purchase. We split a bag of chips. Very limited sweet baked items. A few macaroons in the display case. Nathan helped us and he was very patient with my niece ordering her drink. He even showed her options she asked about on their menu. Note: really like the eco-friendly bamboo boba straws vs. Plastic. Parking in strip mall type area. Super clean bathroom. It was my first time trying this place and I was very exited to try! I got the house milk tea boba( my go to) with 75% sweetness and light ice. I have to say it tasted a little watered down and the boba wasn't the best but I did enjoy the strong flavor of the tea that was coming thru. It was still delicious for what I needed in that moment. Great boba along with great service! James helped us out today & he was super kind & helpful. I really appreciated all the recommendations he gave us which all turned out to be super yummy! Today we went with the dirty ube & the ladybug. The dirty ube was easily my favorite! I highly recommend this drink especially if you're a coffee lover. I'd say this one is the perfect balance of sweet & creamy while still getting that good coffee flavor in. The ladybug was another hit & super refreshing I liked that this drink wasn't overly sweet. The store itself is very well kept & offers indoor seating. This location is easy to find with plenty of open parking. Make sure to download the app for all of their deals & points! Their creamy jasmine was tasty, and the general ambiance is fairly relaxed. Wi-fi is readily available, and they also a community board where you may find services from the local community. While parking is plentiful, drink customizations aren't as much. One con of Teaspoon is that some drinks are not customizable, specifically in sweetness. If memory serves right, their Thai and Taro as well as a large handful of other drinks cannot be customized for sweetness. If you're in for a "lightly" sweet drink, your options will be fairly limited. read more

I have to start off with the number one reason I rate this place highly: their standard milk is Lactaid. I love that milk tea shops have started to do that now because most of their target demographic are suffering for the milk tea obsession lol Not much seating here so recommended for just a quick grab and go situation but I do love how much light pours in if you're lucky enough to grab a seat. Teaspoon is such a cool spot to grab drinks. I usually go for the ube Vietnamese coffee and it never disappoints. It's super flavorful and just hits the spot every time. My only complaint is the amount of ice they put in it. I wish they'd go a little lighter on that so you get more of the actual drink. The boba was perfect consistency, great flavored teas, and loved the passion fruit seed addition to the tea. I've been craving milk tea boba for several weeks. I don't really crave for sweets so this is very serious. lol The area I live in does not have too many options for milk tea and I would need to travel to get some. The result: I just don't go. But once in the a while (high chances when I'm with my nieces) I'll make a stop. This visit was purely due to convenience. I was in the area and looked up milk tea places around me. Taro milk tea is something that I enjoy the most but this recent craving has gotten me to want something different. Teaspoon is conveniently located in a shopping plaza next to the Amazon Fresh store. The shop is tiny and can seat about 20 people. I'm not an expert what so ever on milk tea or boba textures and went for something pretty. I ordered their Matcha Royale w Strawberry. The drink was super delicious and wished they served in a larger cup. Normally to chill your drink they would shake up the cup but since this drink was layered the shaking was up to me. My only down side to this drink was it didn't get cold enough to beat the day's heat. I did see some small bite pastries to purchase to go along with you drink. Overall I am pleased with Teaspoon. The drink was great, the location is near my nieces and feel this establishment will be a go to for a quick fix with them. I do think the prices were a bit high but again, I am not a milk tea expert and don't know what the current market price is for these types of drinks. I've been eyeing this place since it was under construction. I finally was able to try it today and trust me I wish I would of popped in sooner. As soon as I walked in it was completely empty and I had both my drinks within minutes. I ordered the Guava Sunset with a splash of jasmine tea. I asked the dude to make sure it's only 25% sweet but not sure what happen, it was Wayyyyyy too sweet. I know if he would of made it correctly I would of given them 5 stars. Make sure you taste your drink before you leave. We also ordered the House milk tea and it was sooooo good! The perfect blend of all the good stuff! I get it. On a busy day, waiting twenty minutes for a drink is normal. This I don't mind at all. What I do mind is when an employee named "Jeremy" comes in, on his day off, and makes himself three during peak hours and leaves. All the while, the working employee is screaming for help in a playful but decides to chat away while several customers are still waiting. I'm not sure how this place is managed but there is ZERO sense of urgency here. It didn't help that there was also a line with others waiting. Honorable mention also goes to the opened bag of kettle chips and a thermos water bottle sitting on top of the front-facing refrigerator. I'm glad there are plenty of other options And "Jeremy", next time have the sense to wait and make yourself drinks after customers are tended to. The valley had a dearth of good bubble tea spots. Most of the spots were way too sweet, so I had my doubts when I checked Teaspoon out. I liked how you can ask to adjust the sweetness to your taste preference and the wife loved that you can get alternative milk.
