Black Sesame ice cream. It kind of reminds me of peanut butter ice cream. It is sooooo good. Definitely try it out.

I loved how Kai Creamery is located in Mitsuwa Marketplace. Ordering was seamless and fast. I…read moreordered a Purple Potato Shake in a large size (20 oz). The large size was $7.95 and the medium size (16 oz) was $6.95. I opted for whipped cream on the top. I was so happy for the large size. I took the whole day to finish it as I was walking on the street. There was not enough whipped cream on top of the shake. It came out very little. I wished they put more. The purple potato or ube was very tasty. I could just take the whole ube flavor every time I took a sip. It was semi sweet. They did not ask for sugar level or ice level in this place and the drink came out right and balanced for me. I also ordered a small cup of matcha ice cream for $5.85. The large size came out to $6.95. I saw the small cup on display and thought it was already big enough for my 3 year old daughter. My daughter did not even get to finish it because it was somewhat big for a toddler. The matcha ice cream was very creamy though. It was not bitter or strong matcha at all. A very good flavor for ice cream. The matcha was light green. It melted pretty quick in the hot summer weather though so that sucked a lot. Kai Creamery had other flavors, which I will be sure to try out the next time I come here. They got black sesame and hoji tea flavors that I am dying to try out. There was seating behind Kai Creamery with lots of bar stools and outlets for charging. It was just a small area. Besides that I saw everyone taking their order to go.

I had their matcha shake with tapioca. They use matcha ice cream and it is very creamy and smooth, not overly sweet. My husband likes the soft serve, especially the matcha and black sesame mix. After you order, you get a receipt with your order#. When order is ready, they will call your number.
