Their white peach sparkling drink is pretty good and it comes with some white peach inside. It's on their new menu which has less calories as well and still taste good.

Decent shaved ice and reasonably priced. Have good food options and bubble tea too. Would have liked more toppings, and a little less food smell inside

My favorite breakfast in the area. Letter E, at Sunshine Ice.
    Lee S.

I have been here many times, and will say my favorite thing is Letter E, fried eggs, fries, and french toast. It might by favorite breakfast in Weehawken and Union City. They season everything so you don't have to add salt and pepper. Just eat the way they prepare it. I like to have that with their coffee, which is done very well. They add a decent amount of milk, and they get out the natural sugars of the milk, so the coffee doesn't really need extra sugar. They also have a multitude of other things here, it's amazing how much they churn out in that space.

    Small mango snow ice

First time having snow ice and now I am a bit obsessed. I don't know how I ever lived without snow ice and I am kind of glad Sunshine Ice is a little of a drive for me to get to, because I'd be having snow ice twice a day if I lived walking distance. I had the small size (16oz) of mango snow ice, which comes with mango boba, basil seeds, cornflakes, and condensed milk. The mango snow ice base was so light and flavorful. All of the toppings worked well together and I particularly liked the texture contrast the cornflakes added. I have learned from my first visit and now only order the large size (22 oz) because even though it is huge, the ice cream is light and fluffy so you don't get too full. I also tried the watermelon slush which was pretty good too.

    Mango and Passion Fruit Slush

This place has been consistent since day 1 - whether you order tea, a slushy, snow ice, breakfast, or a snack, you can always count on a fresh and delicious order. My go-to choice is the fruit slushy: mango, passion fruit or watermelon! The owner is so sweet and remembers loyal customers.. looking forward to coming back and trying new additions on the menu.

    Strawberry and mango snow ice

Pretty good. Fresh fruit and not too sweet. The snow ice is finer than traditional shaved ice. This more like a Taiwanese snow dessert than a Hawaiian shaved ice. The small size is ample but with tax and tip, each one is about $10. If you're in Weehawken and looking for a cute dessert place at the end of a heavy Korean barbecue dinner, check this place out.

    Excited for sunshine ice juice!

Sunshine Ice is awesome!!! Fresh and delicious! I'm so glad this wonderful little place is so close to my home. They deliver, but you should still go into the store because the friendliness is unparalleled. We usually get a banana milkshake with boba for my hubbs, a mango smoothie with boba for me and Remi sometimes shares ours or gets his own. They know exactly what we like to get every time we go in. It's family run and a few of them are always there working on school work or something. It feels really nice, like you're in someone's home, but that home is a cute and bright bubble tea store! I hope more people keep coming here and also realize how amazing it is. Park avenue needs more cute, delicious and family run places. Let's turn Weehawken around, together! And enjoy some boba while we do!

Instead of treating me respectfully, staff immediately focused on questioning me and demanding "papers" for my service animal in a very aggressive and humiliating way. What made the situation worse was the tone and behavior. I repeatedly tried to explain calmly, but I was spoken to dismissively and made to feel unwelcome in front of other people. I ended up leaving extremely distressed. I know my rights under ADA laws, and businesses should know that employees are not allowed to demand documentation or certification for a service animal. There should be proper staff training on how to handle these situations professionally and respectfully. No customer should be treated this way.

And obviously so much more!! The service is usually quick service. They do get busy in the mornings when people are picking up breakfast on their way to work. They are also busy on the weekends in the mornings. They have seating and some people do sit down and enjoy their coffee inside but I would say most people take their coffee and breakfast to-go. Located within the historic Chelsea Market building--a former Nabisco factory where Oreo cookies were first produced--the restaurant feels theatrical in the best possible way. The soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and energetic atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you walk in. It feels less like simply going out to dinner and more like stepping into a beautifully staged production. I started with a Botanist Gin Martini with a twist, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The surprise star of the evening was the new Cucumber Tiger Salad. The balance of flavors was exceptional: bright acidity, a pleasant touch of heat, and just enough mint to make each bite feel fresh and exciting. Every so often the mint would come through and suddenly all the flavors would click together in a way that made me immediately want another bite. This is a dish I would happily order again. Next came the Edamame Dumplings. They were delicate and comforting, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying broth. The broth adds depth and richness that elevates the entire dish. My only suggestion would be the slightest touch more salt, perhaps even a finishing sprinkle of black volcanic salt for both flavor and presentation. I also found myself wishing there were a bit more of that delicious broth because it contributes so much to the overall experience. For my entrée, I ordered the Glazed Alaskan Black Cod, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fish was rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully the accompaniments were composed. The pickled cucumbers brought brightness, acidity, and crunch, while the black bean and eggplant relish delivered deep savory notes and unexpected complexity. I'm generally not an eggplant fan, but this relish was outstanding. The cucumbers and relish sit at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, yet both somehow make the cod even better. Looking back, I think a glass of Sauvignon Blanc alongside the cod would have been the perfect pairing. I finished with the Miso Caramel Milk Bar, which was spectacular. Decadent, sweet, salty, and touched with just enough umami to keep every bite interesting. The chocolate crumble underneath added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy ice cream and luscious caramel sauce. Every component worked together perfectly, creating a dessert that was both indulgent and sophisticated. From start to finish, the meal felt polished, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you!

Finally, this old school steakhouse is posting AI slop on Instagram/their FB page in celebration of the Knicks... "cool." Anyway, I was here a while ago for something that they appear to offer seasonally, the $95 Porterhouse for Two, which is normally $165 alone, and also comes with a salad, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. This is a fantastic deal compared to their usual high prices and appears to be still happening, but I'm not sure. I was here early and was sitting at the bar with others, and the bartender was friendly. I might have had a glass of wine, but I'm not sure. We were soon upstairs with our full group of 6. Our waiter asked if we wanted something outside of the special, and he recommended the bread, which we ordered for $10.50, listed as Chef's Special Bread Preparation. While the menu lacks any descriptions, this was essentially a Jenga tower of slightly crusted garlic bread sitting in a rather rich and oily sauce made with presumably a lot of Parmesan or another similar type of cheese. It was tasty and worked to whet the appetite. Soon enough, the steaks and other dishes arrived, with two of our pairs getting the same medium rare temperature and the others getting medium. The portion was large as expected, with the steak being pretty tender. I think the flavor was a bit better than Gallagher's, but worse than Keen's, Delmonico's, Hawksmoor, and a few other places with less funk and a worse crust, but it was still decent. The sides were standard, whether it was the salad, which turned out to be a Caesar, the spinach, or the mashed potatoes. I wouldn't pay full price, as there are several other steakhouses in the city that are tastier at a similar price range, but I would probably recommend this place if you were to get the same deal.
