I have been here many times, and will say my favorite thing is Letter E, fried eggs, fries, and french toast. It might by favorite breakfast in Weehawken and Union City. They season everything so you don't have to add salt and pepper. Just eat the way they prepare it. I like to have that with their coffee, which is done very well. They add a decent amount of milk, and they get out the natural sugars of the milk, so the coffee doesn't really need extra sugar. They also have a multitude of other things here, it's amazing how much they churn out in that space.

I had the small size (16oz) of mango snow ice, which comes with mango boba, basil seeds, cornflakes, and condensed milk. The mango snow ice base was so light and flavorful. All of the toppings worked well together and I particularly liked the texture contrast the cornflakes added. I have learned from my first visit and now only order the large size (22 oz) because even though it is huge, the ice cream is light and fluffy so you don't get too full. I also tried the watermelon slush which was pretty good too.

Used to visit here all the time back when we lived in Weehawken and came back on a recent visit. The honeydew milk bubble tea is seriously the best bubble tea around. And their Mango honey toast is just as good, if not better than the honey toast at Spot! One of my favorite restaurants to visit in NJ/NY!

Sunshine Ice is awesome!!! Fresh and delicious! I'm so glad this wonderful little place is so close to my home. They deliver, but you should still go into the store because the friendliness is unparalleled. We usually get a banana milkshake with boba for my hubbs, a mango smoothie with boba for me and Remi sometimes shares ours or gets his own. They know exactly what we like to get every time we go in. It's family run and a few of them are always there working on school work or something. It feels really nice, like you're in someone's home, but that home is a cute and bright bubble tea store! I hope more people keep coming here and also realize how amazing it is. Park avenue needs more cute, delicious and family run places. Let's turn Weehawken around, together! And enjoy some boba while we do!

Taro slush with boba (tapioca and popping ones) is delicious! Tried the matcha smoothie style with double boba and it was good as well but taro I liked more for sure. Service is good, always helpful with any questions you have and friendly. Ambience is chill, quite a few tables to sit and enjoy your drink, sunshine ice, food, waffles, etc. There's a limit of 1.5 hour dine in but is plenty of time as the service is quick as well. Excited to try more off their menu! read more

INCREDIBLE!!! i LOVED coming here with my friends! my go-to was the strawberry snow ice, but i've tried other stuff and i've been happy with it. service is a teensy bit slow just because it's a small place that's usually packed, especially after school hours. but aside from that, it's a really nice place that has a very welcoming vibe with great food and snacks! read more

What a wonderful little place! I only had their Almond Bubble tea and I love it. The place was clean, my order came out very quickly and the service was excellent. I was on phone while waiting for my order and the lady who gave me my tea made sure I had everything before I left the counter, before moving onto next customer. I was touched by their genuine service. I can't wait to try their breakfast food and other bubble teas. I also want to try their Mango waffles. This place is going to my regular hangout spot. read more

Cute little spot. It's been a while since I've had their food (not the most popular) but their bubble teas is on point and so are their slushies! I had the lychee slushie which has small pieces of lychee fruit. My brother loves their honey mango bubble tea and his girlfriend the mango green tea. My son also enjoys their ice cream. Staff is wonderful as always but it can be a bit if a wait for your food. I'm definitely addicted to the lychee slushie read more

Awesome service. Great food. Amazing taste. I'm asian and I think this is the only asian restaurant I've been that is not rushing with your order, answers your questions and even lets you make your own snow ice or etc. they let me make my own breakfast and they made it. Parking is horrible because it's street parking, but I'm telling you, it's worth it. Doesn't matter how long it will take for you to look for a parking, but it is so worth it. read more

This is a wonderful place. It's green for spring and very cute all the time. It's true breakfast is served at all times. The crossiant egg sandwich was really good as was the waffle with the mini sausages. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious and refreshing. It's a bit pricy but well worth it. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance very chic. I recommend everyone to stop by and enjoy this little place with great flavor and ambiance. read more

Sunshine Ice is a Weehawken staple for my cousin, Nelsy, and I. We love their turkey cucumber mayo sandwich, potato wedges, and boba milk tea (particularly the coconut) with tapioca. We have been coming here for years, initially discovering it for it's shaved ice: I'm surprised I have yet to write a review of this place! The food is delicious and the service is fantastic as well. Although, I don't live in the area at the moment, I do make it a point to come back here when I'm in town. In fact, I am very excited to move back to Weehawken and have this right down the street from me. There's indoor and outdoor seating and street parking is usually not an issue. I love this place! It's perfect if you're in the area and want bubble tea or other Taiwanese treats. I ordered the Rose Milk tea which was new and it was fabulous. I was the only person in the cafe but it was EXTREMELY clean. Hand sanitizer was readily available. Highly recommend this authentic bubble tea shop!! read more

My wife and I went to this place in a whim after having tried snow ice/shaved ice only a couple times. This place definitely hit the spot. We ordered the party mix snow ice and it was definitely amazing. The small was able to fill both of us and you don't get that dairy full feeling after. We definitely wanna try a lot of the other flavors including a special avocado flavor. This place also offers some very good breakfast options that we will think about trying. Have you ever had somebody recommend you a place, and they over exaggerate about how good their selections/options are? Well this was the place I was highly recommended to try, but it certainly wasn't over exaggerated. On my way to the mall I stopped by this place just to see why my friend was so blown away by this establishment. I ordered the taro bingsu like ice cream (It's not called bingsu because it's Thai not Korean) and a taro bubble tea. Now, I've never had that kind of ice cream, but boy let me tell you something! That shaved milk ice was mouth watering. Which is funny because as soon as it touched your tongue it melted. I could have easily ordered another, but than my bubble tea wouldn't have gotten the time of day. The bubble tea was alright in my opinion. Their smoothies and slushies are better. But what kind of geniuses came up with this concoction and why isn't it as popular as that dumb rolled up ice cream? Anyway, I digress. The ice cream alone gives this place a 5 star rating. Definitely come through here if you're in the mood for ice cream or smoothies/slushie/bubble tea. read more

This was a wonderfully delicious experience. Who would have thought I would love to eat sweet honey bread out of a vessel made of bread, topped with melty chocolate and vanilla ice cream and an array of fruits. I could not stop eating. Who would have thought taro snow ice with cornflakes and boba and other eclectic toppings would come together so seamlessly. This place is dessert heaven! read more

Great place!!! Been here multiple times for the juices, teas, smoothies, and just had breakfast. I never had any disappointments with the service. The breakfast was pretty good. I had menu option C...over easy eggs with bacon and wedges for 4.95. I think they use Turkey bacon. The wedges came out warm, but not the eggs. Still okay breakfast for the price. Highly recommend this place for a quick stop to hydrate, get some anti-oxidants, and maybe even detox with their teas. Breakfast is more of a quick stop for locals. read more

Fascinated by the creativity a bowl of ice can bring , Icy, the owner of Sunshine Ice, went all the way to Taiwan to learn the mystery of Snow Ice. After failing in love with its softness and delicious taste, she knew she had to bring it back to the states to share it with everyone. And that's how Sunshine Ice is born! Dedicated to quality and authenticity, Icy is driven to make the Snow Ice as good as if you are eating on the local streets of Taiwan.

Instead of treating me respectfully, staff immediately focused on questioning me and demanding "papers" for my service animal in a very aggressive and humiliating way. What made the situation worse was the tone and behavior. I repeatedly tried to explain calmly, but I was spoken to dismissively and made to feel unwelcome in front of other people. I ended up leaving extremely distressed. I know my rights under ADA laws, and businesses should know that employees are not allowed to demand documentation or certification for a service animal. There should be proper staff training on how to handle these situations professionally and respectfully. No customer should be treated this way.

It started with the check in process at what felt like a long hotel front desk with multiple, self important hosts and hostesses overseeing your entrance to the cavernous bar/waiting area. One problem is the noise is so deafening that you can't really hear what they say to you but we check in a few minutes early and waited obediently in the bar area chatting. After about 30 minutes (15 after our reservation time), and watching numerous parties large and small who arrived after us be seated by the hostesses wandering through the dimly lit space who peer quizzically and ask your name, my husband went to ask for an update. (We joked that those vibrating lighted buzzers alerting when your table was ready would have been super helpful, but it was amusing to watch while we waited). It was clear they somehow lost track of us as she had him repeatedly spell our (not unusual) name. Anyway, after that, within 10 minutes after that we were taken downstairs to our seats (but not before standing awkwardly in the large dining area near packed tables waiting while our table was cleaned). Server with a heavy accent was kind and mostly helpful so none of this is on him. The busser who managed to spill half a pitcher of cold water on my husband's back, soaking his shirt and jacket and barely apologizing, is a whole other story. We managed to get a glass of his mediocre Cabernet comped for the experience. If I sound annoyed, I guess I still am. I had high hopes for a fun and tasty experience in a cool part of the city and it just wasn't.

The corn nuggets were so flavorful, still very and perfect amount. I ordered two thinking they weren't going to put enough nuggets but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw 8 pieces of corn nuggets. Trust me they are very filling. The hash browns were also very delicious. A bit greasy but who cares, they're hash browns. The organic chicken nuggets with a bit of ketchup on the side really hit the spot. I am definitely going to order again. I am excited to try their main dishes and desserts. I'm in New Jersey for vacation and wanted some shaved ice so we walked over to this place. I got the Mango Snow Ice and originally I didn't think I would enjoy all the things they put on it (corn flakes, mango chunks, mango syrup, seeds, etc) especially considering I enjoy things plain but I loved all of it. Everything went well, especially the cereal which I was skeptical about. It was a super nice and light treat and melts in your mouth just like cotton candy. It's the perfect thing if you want something sweet but not too heavy. I would definitely recommend making a stop here if it's not out of the way. read more

The icies and boba here are delicious! The Snow ices are the best ones I've had in a while. The service is great and the servers are nice people. Although the wait is a bit long, they make bobas and snow ices from scratch. Me and my friends find this place a frequent stop for meetups and just chatting. They also have wifi there, so you can be on your phone while waiting. This local place can beat most quick boba chains. You HAVE to give it a try! read more
