If you know me, you know I'm not a coffee drinker--I'll always choose tea instead. That's why Tea's Me Café is the perfect spot for me. Plus, there are tons of amazing tea options. Beyond tea, they also serve delicious breakfast and lunch items, and let me tell you--the chicken bacon ranch sandwich is absolutely divine. This is my first time visiting their Tarkington location, and it might just be my favorite! But honestly, all of their locations are fantastic, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It's also a great spot to work from, with easy parking--especially thanks to the nearby park's lot. Ps-- Owned by Tamika Catchings, and if you're lucky, she might just be there when you visit!

I was aware of the other location, but I didn't know this place existed until my company had a meetup here. This community space offers street and lot parking. The glass enclosed structure offers views of the neighborhood and Tarkington Park. The space is bright and clean. I only opted for a smoothie, but they also offer sandwiches and other light bites that my coworkers seemed to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our items were ready quickly. The is a good place to hold small meetings, catch up on work or with friends, or just grab some eats and chill.

Great spot for an afternoon pick-me-up in the middle of Tarkington park! I opted for the spring lemon lavender tea, lightly sweetened with agave (other sweetener options are cane sugar and honey). It was super refreshing! This is a great spot to try some teas without fear of them being too bitter. I got a barbecue chicken wrap for lunch - served with a side of spinach salad (with some kind of raspberry vinaigrette) and potato salad. Everything was great! They also have dippin dots as a cool treat for those warm afternoons!

I enjoyed the Yelp Indy elite pop up event at Tea's Me Community Cafe yesterday that I decided to come back here for a matcha latte and to pickup some tea bags to take home. I had some work meetings to attend as well, so I was able to get some work done as well in the cafe while enjoying my matcha latte. The ambiance is very relaxing and very comfortable to get some work done and take conference calls. I picked up a variety of tea bags from green tea, black tea, and white tea that I will surely enjoy at home. The service is wonderful and professional, and the staff do take care of the customers very well. My matcha latte was perfect and tasted just right. This cafe is a nice addition to Tarkington Park and it gives the park some character and warmth for the community. I'm glad Tea Me's Community Cafe exist in Indy and I will look forward to coming back here to enjoy a different variety of tea.

I've been meaning to stop by here for quite some time. The second location of Teas Me Cafe is conveniently located on the drive to my son's school on the corner of 38th and Illinois Street surrounded by an all-ages park that was installed a few years ago. The street out front also features a bike lane. In the warmer months, the park is bustling- especially with younger kiddos/families. I opted for my Teas Me go-to, the almond orange green tea (hot). I've been fighting a cold and this hot tea worked some serious magic. They offer it both hot and cold and in varying sweetness levels. For what it's worth, I find it so flavorful without any added sugar. The shop also features some coffee drinks, baked goods and an assortment of seating options. One of the best parts of the space is that it features wrap around windows and plenty of natural light making it an ideal spot to take meetings or work for a couple of hours. So great to see this added energy to the neighborhood and looking forward to future visits. Way to go, Tamika and team!

I was disappointed by this café. Although moderately clean and kind staff, the food was very disappointing. The tea was just alright but slightly overpriced. I would go back to try different flavors. The most disappointing thing was the David sandwich lunch meal. It was supposed to be a pesto grilled cheese. It had four slices of cheese that was very cold and not even slightly melted. Although the dressing for the salad was pretty good! I wouldn't recommend this place.

My partner is a big tea drinker and I thought it was finally time to give Tea's Me Cafe a try and I was NOT disappointed. Their menu is filled with all types teas, any way you like it! The breakfast sandwiches are huge and so delicious. You can tell that everything is made fresh to order! The young lady at the register was very helpful when we had questions. The only thing that I thought was odd was that they served my partners hot tea in a glass cup with a straw instead of mug, making it a little difficult to drink. Other than that, our experience was superb!

The staff is charming and knowledgeable. The ambiance light and friendly. The food perfect .A light health lunch nice to find in a neighborhood that is basically a food desert. Very pleased to meet the owner and see that she is actively present in her business. The iced chai tea expertly blended. I'll be eating lunch here and often.

Omelette was decent. Waffle was great. Both priced reasonable. The place is great next to a park and a fun vibe. It did take a while for food to come out but servers were nice and friendly.

    Delicious iced coffee.

What a delightful little spot in the middle of one of our favorite parks. We dropped in for a refreshment and enjoyed the most delicious hard dipped ice cream and an iced coffee. Service was great, seating was comfy, options were vast for drinks and meals. Wait was moderate and prices were fair. Restrooms were clean. We'll be back!

My chicken bacon ranch croissant sandwich and basil tomato soup. After I had a few bites I realized I needed to write a review!

Met here for a working lunch at the suggestion of my lunch partner and what a pleasant surprise! This little cafe is great now during cold weather with its extensive selection of teas, coffee and food, but will be even more lovely to visit when the weather improves and you can sit outside and enjoy watching kids in the park. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch croissant sandwich meal which came with a cup of tomato basil soup (yum), and a small spinach side salad. The sandwich was hot and tasty, and the salad was a nice (and healthy) addition to the lunch meal. The place is spacious so even during COVID you should be able to have some social distance plus the staff wore masks. A good meeting place for a working breakfast or lunch and even better to meet up with a friend for tea, coffee and a treat. Wonderful neighborhood cafe that you should absolutely check out and support.

    Yum!

We stopped in for a snack while playing at the park. The ice cream was delicious and I love the bright spot right by the park. I see us having all summer.

Other beverages include tea, lemonade, hot cocoa and yerba mate. The salted chocolate chip cookies was great. Kinda salty and as big as my hand. I think they get the baked goods from a local place. Skosh is like a thrift store with a coffee shop inside it. There are couches and furniture nicely arranged that you can sit on, but that furniture is for sale. So is the clothing that is placed hither and thither. So are the mirrors and paintings all around. You can get something to drink and then kind of just wander around and look at all of the things around the store. A black cat wanders around the store, too! How can it get better? It really can't. Skosh is a must-visit if you're in the Garfield Park neighborhood.

I wish all of my reviews could be this on-the-nose and well-thought-out. I love a good theme. Black House Cafe is that kind of place to visit when you want a theme. This coffee shop is all horror movie paraphernalia and horror culture, in the heart of Fountain Square. But although it's all horror all the time, it's more spooky than scary. I would not hesitate to bring a child into Black House Cafe, because there's nothing gory or frightening about this place. Mostly, it serves as a cafe art gallery to some of the more famous horror film leads, like Freddy Krueger, the leprechaun in Leprechaun, Michael Meyers, Chucky and other menacing movie greats. It's a fun and playful space. The ambiance is 100/100. Honestly, if you just visited Black House Cafe to check out the artwork on the walls and absorb the horror vibe, it would be worth it. But this cafe has some creative caffeinated drinks also, so you might as well get a coffee. I wanted to get a coffee, but ended up getting a tea. I got the "It's Alive!" drink, which is matcha with pistachio flavoring and milk. Like all matcha drinks, this was one of those drinks where I was like, "Wow! Matcha really does taste like the way fish food smells!" That said, I liked my matcha, and the addition of pistachio flavor put it over the top. They have a few snacky things on the menu, like pastries, bagels, avocado toast and empanadas. I didn't get anything to eat, but I was very close to considering an empanada. Be sure to visit the restroom! It's Gremlins themed!
