I came here about an hour before closing and it was really busy, but the team worked through all the orders super quick. I ordered the crème brule milk tea with rose added to it. For rose to be added you have to have at least 25% sugar level. It was delicious, sweet, and smooth. I usually have fruity or very caffeinated drinks, so it was a nice change to pace to see a milk tea with slight flavor on the menu and I really enjoyed it.
Tasty Bubble Tea! This particular location is located on the second floor of WaterTower Place making it perfect for sipping & shopping. The Ube Dalgona drink was yummy and accompanied with some delicious soft & chewy boba. They package their drinks in cute cans. The cleanliness of the tables was questionable though - they were all dirty and littered with wrappers / can covers.
We stumbled upon Te 'Amo at Water Tower while looking for another spot and decided to give it a try. They offer a range of hot and cold beverages, as well as desserts, though we've only tried their drinks so far. My husband is a big fan of their hot Strawberry Dalgona coffee--he's ordered it both times we've visited. I've had the cold Ube Dalgona and the pumpkin spice Dalgona, both of which were absolutely delicious. This place has quickly become our favorite boba spot nationwide. The ordering process is pretty streamlined. While there are staff members available to answer questions, you place your order using touchscreen pads. It took about three minutes from placing the order to receiving our drinks. Fast and easy!

Very cute little shop right when you head up the escalators on the second floor. The bright colors really catch your eye! I have seen a few of the other Te'amo locations around the city, and finally decided to stop. We did not get any drinks which seemed to be their hottest items. The ordering was self service on a touch pad, and then donuts were already on display so we got them very quickly! They were very light and fluffy and almost melt in your mouth. They were a nice sweet treat. Next time I will definitely try a beverage to pair with another mochi donut!
Got the mango jasmine oolong tea with boba. Tea tasted diluted with water and flavoring was so faint. For a $6+ drink, I expect to taste the fruit and tea flavor of my drink. The only redeeming quality was the boba pearls themselves were well cooked and had a good brown sugar chewy flavor. Also got the dalgona matcha w/boba and it had the same problems. Tasted mostly like milk with no perceptible matcha flavor and a hint of sweetness that alluded to the inclusion of dalgona. Basically just tasted like vaguely sweet green milk with boba. The can that the boba comes in has a tab to open that broke upon trying to open it. Terrible design as the can top also makes it unable to seal after opening so you take it with you without fear of spilling. Cup feels like it was designed for novelty rather than functionality. Service is good and cafe so cute, but the drinks are just not worth it.
I got the organic lavender matcha latte and I must say the packaging is very nice. They use clear plastic soda can like bottles with a golden tab finish. Barista was helpful and the matcha flavor was strong compared to other places. The boba was chewy and overall I enjoyed the drink. The only downside would be pricing as the drinks are a bit expensive.
I finally tried Te'Amo and I am so happy that it lived up to its hype! The service was quick and easy. The line moves super fast regardless of it being inside the Water Tower. There's not a ton of seating right next to the space, but it's easy to find seating throughout the mall. The tea itself was SO good. We tried the brown sugar Dalgona Coffee and it was made to perfection. Not too sweet, the right amount of boba, and very caffeinated. I can't wait to try more flavors - especially their seasonal ones!

Very cute little stand with a kiosk for you to order your favorites. My son loved the Oreo mochi donut. My sister loved adding lychee jelly and crystal boba to her green tea! Definitely a sweet treat!
Got the brown sugar milk tea with regular milk and boba. It was great. Service was quick. You can order on the iPad quickly. Highly recommend

You can buy drinks, mochi donuts, pastries, coconut jellies, and retail items. We got a banana milk with an Oreo mustache, and a rose matcha latte. You can pick your sweetness, temperature, milk, and amount of ice, as well as additions like pudding, boba, or a cheese top. The drinks come in sealed pop top containers, making it easy to take on the go. Service was friendly and polite, and we didn't have to wait long. They were very patient with some of the other folks who were struggling with the kiosks. This location is on the second floor of Water Tower Place, where the old Starbucks used to be. It's colorful and welcoming. The pastries and tea blends on display are very inviting.

Yummy drink!! I was pleasantly surprised to taste the fluffiness of the matcha. The pumpkin spice latte part was also spot on and not too sweet. I do regret getting boba (personally) bc i think the drink was great on its own. the cups + presentation are GREAT! there's also a wide menu with lots of drink and dessert options! read more
Pros: Great location at the Water Tower mall Fast service I really like the can design Delicious drinks and desserts seating available Cons: Didn't like ordering from the kiosk, especially since there are people who don't know how to do this. Would rather have the option to order from a live person, but they were busy making drinks. Pro tip: Be sure to hit up the Farmer's Market on the 4th floor after you get your drink! read more

Don't underestimate this kiosk store for Te Amo. I've been to other locations that are full stores and their service and quality of food here is just as good! When I visited there were two employees, the barista, and then the back end person. And they did so well balancing the number of customers and the orders. They definitely seemed used to the steady workload. Also, I had an Oreo mochi donut and the dalgona coffee with boba and less ice. They survived for no more than 2 minutes because they were so good I cleared my plate. The ambiance also retains the same level of vibe and love you get from their franchise stores. Sometimes I just want some boba without needing to go to Chicago's Chinatown I first discovered te'amo when I was living in streeterville . Literally was CRAVING boba and so home sick. It was maybe 2 years after I moved to chicago. Then I found them on Google maps and it was walking distance omg Now tea'mo has 4 locations downtown for bubble tea in Chicago : Millennium Park, Water Tower Place, Navy Pier, & Northbridge Mall Crazy right?! What I usually get: Volcano - comes with Thai tea, Oreo, cream cheese moustache with boba Creme brulee mustache black tea boba Coconut Pudding $10.99 - either Ube , matcha, or mango pomelo sago 楊枝甘露 flavored chiffon cakes $10.99 - strawberry cream雪紡蛋糕 Macaron set of 6 - $15 What they have that's new: surprise plushies for an additional $2.99, perfect for gifts & if you're visiting Chicago downtown (since the boxes have the Chicago skyline) basque cheesecake $11.99- blueberry,strawberry, & tiramisu flavors Cutest tree cup (Chinatown has the snowman cup too) - they will sell out once the cups are no available Mochi Donuts $3.79 I like the matcha. I love that there is a te'amo located in the water tower mall. It's the perfect refreshment after shopping and my go-to is the jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly. It's a delicious combo and always hits the spots. The service is friendly and the quality is always great. We're from out of town and noticed a lot of te'Amos around here so we decided to try it out! I ordered the rose matcha latte and asked for coconut milk with less ice. The matcha flavor was strong which is great and I could also tell it had rose in it. Overall I would get it again. My only complaint is that there was still a lot of ice even though I asked for less ice. I'm a slow drinker so I don't like having the ice dilute my drink later. An incredible edition to the water tower. My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this place. One can argue, "it's very addicting" --tbh, we've told everyone we know about this place and every time they come to the Water Tower to visit us at the Art Gallery space on the same floor.. they make their way over to this spot. At this point, we've almost tried them all. My ultimate favorite is the Matcha Dalgona. I love how you can customize everything right at the kiosk. Sadly, the only downside to this is there is ALWAYS a line considering there isn't an actual cashier. If you've never tried this place before, I HIGHLY recommend you stop by! read more
