I wanted to write a review to acknowledge the helpful, courteous, and professional service offered by Team Rooter (Ventura County). Johnathan was my plumbing specialist today and was dispatched well ahead of schedule to inspect my shower blockage in Ventura. Upon arrival, especially since it was raining, he ensured to put on protective covering of his feet to not track in mud or moisture into the residence and went through the work plan for the blockage. Team Rooter had a great deal for blockage removal (which was the reason I called besides solid reviews), but unfortunately, after inspecting my crawl space, he found that I did not have an easy access port of entry to the shower line, so he had to run the cable through the actual shower drain. For consumers, when that happens, the full price of the blockage treatment is applied. I could tell Johnathan felt for me, knowing the price would increase, so he called dispatch/Team Rooter administrative personnel, and they subsequently provided me a discount because of my first responder experience/profession. Johnathan completely eradicated the blockage within about 5 minutes, and gave me an update on the status with a demo of free flowing shower water. Additionally, while under the crawl space, Johnathan provided me with a detailed diagnosis of my aging areas of cast iron piping (my home is from the 50s) that was blended with new areas of ABS and took pictures to show me the corrosion. He then proceeded to crawl back under the house and took pictures to provide evidence of the area and gave me an estimate of the work that needed to be done. Had he not done that I would not have known the extent of the degradation to my aging pipes. I truly appreciated the prompt response time of Team Rooter (had someone dispatched within an hour), the courteous treatment by Johnathan in trying to help me with pricing since the coupon/promotional drain cleaning did not apply to my situation, and the professional/helpful nature in making me aware of necessary piping replacements. All in all, I would say that I was quite satisfied with Johnathan and my experience with Team Rooter. Thank you very much! read more

The entire process from my first contact with Team Rooter was professional. I appreciated the text messages with the ETA and photo of the technician coming to my residence. Jorge was my technician and showed me why my outdoor drain was draining slowly with a camera. Israel and Aaron assisted with hydrojetting and identifying a broken pipe further up the line. The team gave me job quotes and available discounts without pressure to accept them immediately. After the pipe repair job was completed, Jorge and Israel came out again afterwards to answer more of my questions and re-inspect my outdoor drain with a camera again free of additional charge. Wow! just WOW. What amazing service. I needed to have someone take a look at my storm drains that are clogged. I texted Team Rooter and within seconds they replied back and said someone could be at my home within an hour. Jorge showed up right on time. He looked extremely professional and well put together. He spent a considerable amount of time looking through my situation and explained everything in detail with a caring demeanor. I had a pressing problem when the garbage disposal, today. I called Team Rooter& they took my inf. & immediately set up the appointment to work on this problem ASAP. Erwin Lomeli arrived by 3 pm. The garbage disposal was rusty & not working. Erwin Lomeli quickly went to Home Depot & brought a new Moen garbage disposal & installed it , quickly. He was quite knowledgeable & thorough . It was a little pricey, but given the urgency & the beginning of the weekend, it was well worth it. I would recommend Team Rooter & their team without any hesitation. I called in the morning and requested a service time after 5:00 p.m., and was quoted sometime between 5:00 and 7:00. Jonathan got here promptly at 4:55 p.m. and completed the kitchen drain clearing in less than a half hour. He was very professional and explained the warranty before he left. I bought a new stove and the line from the stove didn't fit the valve on the wall. Called Team Rooter out for an estimate and they said I had to replace the valve on the wall and it would cost $975, but they would give me a 10% discount for new customers, which would be $877. I was like, that is more than I paid for the Stove. I said no thanks. I asked a friend to take a look and all that needed to be done was the valve on the stove needed to be replaced. Part was $12 and it took him 10 minutes to fix. Team Rooter didn't even suggest this! Trying to take advantage of me and gouge money from me. Not right! read more

As a new customer I was surprised someone was able to come out not only on the same day,but within a few hours! Kevin came out in the middle of a downpour. He was very polite and took the rain in stride and got to the task at hand, a clogged kitchen drain. He snaked the drain and it was full of sludge. The drains were not clogged anymore, but Kevin explained it was probably only a temporary fix and explained why. He gave us some options and we are considering those. Called Team Rooter Plumbing for a toilet repair. They had Erwin Lomeli out to the house within the hour (had given a two hour timeframe but appreciated beating that timeframe). Erwin diagnosed the problem with two alternatives to fix. He walked me through everything, took pictures, and fixed the issue using the first less expensive method. I had an odd problem in that i had a high pitched intermittent squeal from my bathroom pipes. Jorge spent 3 hours at my house investigating until the squeal started again. Called around 2 pm on a Monday because our kitchen drain was plugged. Figured I'd be lucky if someone got out the next day. Well what a great experience I was in for. The dispatcher said she would call me back in about 10 minutes after she got a hold of one of the plumbers. Five minutes later she called and said Angel would be out between 4 and 6 pm that same day. Got a text message around 4 saying he would be there in 30 minutes. 20 minutes later he was here. Told him the problem and he looked it over. Got his electric snake and 15 minutes later was doing a few more passes with the snake to make sure it was cleaned out. Incredible service. Had a coupon from Top Pros Magazine that they honored with no problem at all. Great value and a quality job. When I finally got the hint that something terribly wrong was going on with the bathroom plumbing in my house, I called Team Rooter because a fellow named Erwin had once come out to unclog my kitchen sink. He had made a great impression on me, did a terrific job, and charged me the least of several other plumbers I had contacted. When I called Team Rooter this time to inspect and assess what was going on with the bathroom, I asked for Erwin. He came out with Israel, the branch manager. They were thorough and careful. They wore booties in the house, and performed everything possible to discover the cause of the problem: an antiquated, corroded, disintegrated cast iron pipe under the house had failed! The cost would be high and they would have to cut open my hardwood floors and dig, dig, dig inside and outside the house. I was in shock and scrambled to get other estimates and other points of view. But no other plumbing company came even close to making me feel as confident as Team Rooter that the job would go well, the materials used would be first rate, and the cost would be justified. Team Rooter, specifically, Israel, Erwin, Abraham, did an amazing job. I felt acknowledged and respected, had every single question answered, and this unbelievably challenging job was completed within a week! They contained the dust, excavated with minimal disruption, and did a fantastic cleanup when it was over. I don't have a single complaint! I am happy and grateful! Thanks Team Rooter.
