Tim and his crew were amazing!! I had called them a year ago inquiring about refinishing the whole face of my house that has IPE siding. Unfortunately I couldn't do it at the time, but fast forward to a year later and he still remembered. He cam by a day later and gave me an updated quote. We had to book a couple of weeks out as they were busy, but the day they showed up the were on time, very quick, and Very Clean. I can't believe the difference in my house from the morning before they got there to the afternoon when they left. It looks better than it did when I originally installed the IPE. Amazing work and professionalism from beginning to end. Care and workmanship through out process was beyond stellar. I had 29 pieces of teak furniture that needed care and Teak Master's process in doing so was to take all of the pieces away to their facility to perform the efforts required for refurbishing and to be the least intrusive in doing so as my property would have been difficult to master all of this work. The peices were gently taken away and returned in the same gentle matter. The cost for all of these pieces and processes was very fair. I've been meaning to post this review for a while. Take masters did an excellent job with refinishing our very large deck. They took their time and spent attention to detail. It was three days of work and I didn't feel like they were trying to cut any corners. Our deck looks so much better - it's so much more even in color and clean! Really night and day difference. We took a look at a number of different contractors who may be able to do the job but Teak Master came in near the best on price and availability (and the Yelp reviews definitely helped). That said, not sure I could have asked for better service and communication - the team was on time, efficient, they talked me through the whole process and most importantly, thorough and detail oriented. Our deck is only about 9x18' but it runs up against our newly installed synthetic turf and a series of planters that have recently been stained. As a do it yourself homeowner I set out to refinish my Brown Jordan teak dining table and chairs myself. I did everything correct up to the final step...the sealer. On the phone we were quoted, 10 days and when the company picked up the table and chairs, the work ordered was quoted 2 weeks; regardless we were returned our table that was picked up Aug 18 on Sept 5. Had an expensive teak table and 4 chairs set that was about 25 years old and looked like it, having turned gray a long time ago, plus a large redwood picnic bench with 2 big benches for it, plus a redwood wine table, all the redwood items having developed a mold that had turned them black and probably unhealthy to be around. Had 1 estimate that was so outrageous I didn't even respond to it, and then I found an ad for these guys in one of those home renovation contractor ad booklets that come in the Wednesday mail. To get to the point, they did all 9 items for far less than the original quote from the other contractor, and made them look like new. (Especially the teak set, but also the redwood patio furniture, so do not let the name fool you). It has been almost 2 months since they did it and the mold has not returned, so apparently they were able to completely eliminate it along with finishing them and making them look great! read more

These guys are the best. I had a quote to finish all 3 of my decks for a little cheaper but the other company was going to use an acid wash. Tim explained why hand sanding was much better and safer. They hand sanded and stained the decks with great care. They made sure to cover my pool and windows to avoid debris from falling in and making a mess. I recently purchased a home on the beach that has IPE wood siding. I called Teak Master, the owner Tim came out for an estimate. He was knowledgeable and professional. After speaking with several other contractors I went with Tim and TM. Best decision I made. His crew lead by Raul were professional, courteous and took extra care when setting up for work everyday. It took them 5 days to sand, brighten and stain the wood. Living on the beach means my neighbors are within arms reach and the crew were cautious not to disturb their property either. We built our redwood deck five years ago. Since we haven't maintained it, the condition of wood was getting worse and we couldn't neglect it any longer. We called Teak Master and they refinished our deck last week, and our deck looks really wonderful. It actually looks better than when we first built it. They put protective vinyls on my windows and patio doors before cleaning and sanding the deck, so no dust came inside. They replaced the old ugly looking wood panel on the side of the rail to new wood pieces looking like continuous design of the deck. They put some sample colors on the deck before they stained, so it was easy for me to see exactly how it will look on my deck. I was worried the color might be too dark and red, but when they were finished, I was surprised how great the color came out. I just love our newly finished deck. Tim and the team at Teak Master are fantastic. About 18 months ago, I had them sand down and refinish a two level redwood deck that's about 1200 SF. His team did an amazing job - excellent communication, the job site was kept clean very respectful and they did a very through job. About a week ago, I had them come out for a "maintenance" visit where they power washed the redwood surface and re-stained it. Because I was getting a koi pond installed, I needed them to do the work over Labor Day weekend before we filled to pond up - they came out and worked that Sunday and Monday.
