This cheap and cheerful cafe offers friendly customer service and a range of lunchtime drinks and snacks at respectable prices. Inside, the place looks like your typical greasy spoon, with a basic interior and a real no-frills vibe, but the simplicity of The Teacup Cafe is oddly pleasing and the welcoming staff ensure that every visit is a pleasant one.
The coffee I ordered was surprisingly good. A children's menu was available (rare in these sort of places) and the service was fast and efficient. The prices, however, were not so reasonable. Full English Breakfasts were on sale for £3.50, much more expensive than Baguette Du Maison round the corner. read more
