But these are acceptable priorities and you know his heart is in the right place. I think this place is also a bakery/patisserie in its adjoined unit where it gets all its sweet stuff to also sell in the cafe. I originally went in for the cake as it looked so delish that I got romantic wobbly knees, but got swayed by the savoury. A little pricey for what it is, but in line with Warwick centre prices in general. Great selection of light lunchy bits and they have a soup of the day and a couple of deals to go with it. I went for the sausage and caramelised onion sandwich. Did the job. Caramelised onions always win me over. But it was so dry I had so much inside sadness. Good selection of hot drinks too! Such a smooth cappuccino, and quite a few tea options which I believe are provided by the Golden Monkey Tea company a couple doors down. Love a little sense of community! All in all, a great visit. I picked up a coffee walnut, victoria sponge and a carrot cake. The slices were huge! While I didn't get to taste the coffee cafe (though my nan says it was great) the victoria sponge was light and fluffly and the cream filling was extremely tasty. While I'm not a huge fan of carrot cake I particularly liked this one. It contained nuts so had a nice cunchy taste to it. I can't speak about the coffee or other food on offer (there is a full menu) it was packed on Sunday morning so thats got to be a good sign. Next time I'm in Warwick I'll be stopping in for a coffee and I'll let you know how it goes.

We ordered a couple of hot beverages and then some breakfast. I opted for the sausage sandwich with brown bread, which was really good. The only downside is that the sausages were not cut in half and were left whole inside the sarnie - yes call me fussy but that's not how a sausage sarn should be! And I've had plenty of em'! We were never felt rushed despite us taking our time and chatting for a while. You can then pay at the till before you leave. This place must be a gold mine as it is always busy, a testament to how good they are.

Counter service was very friendly and welcoming and we found all the items we needed. The breakfast arrived very quickly and the lady serving noticed my son didn't want the mushroom or tomato. She proactively offered to change them and within seconds brought out more sausages and bacon. Great service and will definitely return. Highly recommend

We decided to give it a go. I can honestly say I really enjoy coming here as often as I can. The food is healthy, delicious and won't cost you an arm and a leg. The best part? I love the atmosphere. The people are genuinely friendly and down to Earth. No gospel music either, they play really good old school rock. Wonderful place. I'm so glad we found it!

Its free entry -you have to walk past the ticket office in the front and it takes you inside the historic complex and you can even sit partially outside overlooking a lovely courtyard. The food is also good. I particlularly like the homemade scones and cakes- try the coffee and walnut. There is not a large range of main meals but they are tasty and homemade and quality is good. Some of the portions are a bit on the large size. For a tearoom they also do a wicked cup of cappuccino!
