Yea with Kip has moved further west on 11164 Hull St Rd & Genito, so be sure your GPS, is going to correct location! Kip's new spot is just as pretty and dainty as her previous place, plus TeaBerries is just next door and connected to Kip's tearoom! So if Kip is booked, you can enjoy a more casual tea next door! Kip's menus are mouthwatering and the gift shop is set up beautifully! She offered many event teas, vendor events, and community activities! Please read my previous reviews to read about how much I gush over Kip! She's a precious friend!

I am so thankful to have found this amazing tea shop. The owner is so delightful and makes you feel as if you've known her your whole life. The staff are wonderful and are eager to make sure you have a great experience. The tea and food are so good! It really is an excellent experience. From the scone to the soup to the abundance of other treats... just so delicious!

Tea with Kip is the epitome of Southern Hospitality -- in a way that no longer exists. Her team is vibrant and charming. She truly goes above and beyond for each guest and you can tell Kip loves what she does. She bakes all the goodies every morning so they're fresh. This is one of the more affordable tea rooms in Richmond. Between the tea, the decor, the service, and the food -- you can't go wrong booking here. If you plan to book be sure to let her know if you have any dietary restrictions a day ahead of time so she can accommodate you!

What a fabulous afternoon tea experience! Kip is an absolute sweetheart and her staff is so friendly. This was probably one of the best afternoon teas I've experienced near the DC area. The tea is by reservation only and there's a set tea and menu for the seating. Ours was an Earl Grey, which I generally don't like, but this particular blend was fabulous. The Valentine's Day theme was carried all the way through to the mini heart-shaped sandwiches and little goody pouches. A really fun afternoon!

Another afternoon at Tea with Kip steeped in conversation, tea, sonnet reading, and tea treats. Kip really pours on southern hospitality here at her tea room. Her food is all homemade and delish. She is very attentive to all her guests making sure they feel special and have a relaxing time.

Kip is absolutely amazing! What a unique and special experience. The tea and food is delicious, Kip is so sweet, the decorations are amazing... such an enjoyable time for everyone. Hosted a baby shower here and Kip went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this gem!

Calming spot to grab a treat, get some work done/journal, or catch up with friends in an aesthetic and modern cafe. Ordered the paradise tea with mango and avocado. I haven't tried the pastries at this location, but have at their other Richmond cafe. Great cakes and buns made fresh in-house. Easy to find parking at the lot outside. Service is pretty quick.

That employee also completely ignored me, despite the fact that I was clearly standing there waiting to be helped. I was there to pick up a DoorDash order for someone else, but based on the way I was treated, I can guarantee you I will not be choosing to spend my own money at this establishment. I ultimately had to ask another customer who was standing in line if they knew where to pick up a DoorDash order. The entire experience was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. A simple acknowledgment or, at the very least, "We'll be with you in a moment" would have made a huge difference.

Everything is made fresh in house with organic ingredients. I had a cranberry bacon scone and oh my gosh it was divine. It was moist, had beautiful layers, and paired beautifully with the Devonshire butter. The warmed scone came with my soup flight. Yup! I said SOUP FLIGHT! I had the harvest soup, lemon chicken orzo, and tomato basil. The harvest was my favorite. It had the perfect balance of fall flavors. The lemon chicken orzo was also flavorful, the chicken was tender, and the orzo was cooked perfectly. The tomato basil was also delicious. It wasn't overly salted or too heavy which I often find when having soup at other establishments. Their quiches are all gluten free which I can't wait to try next time. They also have chicken salad and several other selections to choose from. There are a ton of teas to try too; either hot or cold. Plus they have over ninety teas you can purchase too! They have two bathrooms that are just as adorable as the dining area. They also have a prayer room and a selfie wall! If you're a breastfeeding parent it could also double as a lactation room which is incredibly helpful. They truly thought of everything. Parking is easy as it's in a strip mall. There's plenty of seating or you can take your food to go. They have high chairs available as well as children's books. Right next door is Kips tea room which I can't wait to try in the future too. Kip was equally wonderful. Kip and Erin are a dynamic duo of warmth and you can tell that everything is made with love! Check this local business out!

The decor is warm and inviting, with little nooks for selfies, moments of reflection, or work or read! I came with a friend, no reservations required, and the food case was full of delectable choices, (Tea with Kip next door provides her menu selections) and we had a hard time deciding from the yummy offerings! There were 2 soups, ham & bean and a butternut chicken (friendship soup), quiche, a spinach wrap, a roast beef sandwich, several salad choices, along with a variety of scones, muffins and danishes! Our meal was scrumptious and the tea was delish. We chose the Earl Greyer and can't wait to go back to try the plethora of other flavors! The tea shop was beautifully appointed and we had a wonderful time! I can't wait til next tea time!

The server was also the owner and he was pretty cool... chatting with us and giving us some history of the place. We enjoyed his dry sense of humor! We also enjoyed the baked goods!! Perhaps they do not know how to make it. Flavorless. 2. Ordered pork and shrimp egg rolls. Order came out in about 3 minutes - evidently not fresh, and they were also greasy -- see pic. 3. Ordered pho broth with noodles. Not much broth and all the noodles were actually clumped together (had to pull them apart) - see pic. Broth had a one-note, overly cinnamon flavor. As seen from pic, no space left for broth because so many noodles. Cheap way of serving food. 4. Ordered pork and sausage fried rice. Came out very quickly (evidently pre-made). Was very greasy and had an "off" flavor. Came at a non-busy time, and had food that was not prepared well. Will not return to this restaurant. I prefer Pho Tay Do, as do many Richmond-area chefs.
