The previous time, the drink was completely inedible, so I had to resort to throwing it away. I love coming to Tea Snow because their huge selection of drinks and toppings can satisfy any boba craving. Whether it's a milk tea or a watermelon slush, you can definitely find something for you here. A personal favorite of mine is the Vietnamese coffee. It's very flavorful and you can get a sea salt topping to make it even better. It's always very clean around the counters and small tables. Definitely not a sit-down type of place though -- it's quaint and you typically wait outside the shop on the Mekong mall side. They do get busy, and when they do, you'll simply wait for them to call your number and they'll hand you your order from the little window. Service is never particularly slow however, and they tend to handle busy days quite well. If you're out and about at Mekong shopping for groceries, it's worth a stop to Tea Snow before you leave! read more

Want to try something new and yet deliciously familiar? If you have had bubble tea in the past now you can have 2 different flavors of bubble tea in one cup*. I couldn't decide between my go to original milk tea and the Thai ice tea, so I chose the 2 tea blend, comes in an unique cup that comes split with two straw openings up top. The server will give you 2 straws but I recommend just using one if you want to save the environment. Overall, their drinks are pretty good. I usually go here for their specialty drinks which range from $4.50-$5.00. Because they don't go cheap on the toppings, it's totally worth it. However, specifically on the Coco Loco, 75% was chunks of fruits and 25% drink. I had to use my straw to scoop it out. If you're thirsty, don't get this one since there isn't much to drink. It would make more sense if it came in a bigger size. Their three color dessert is one of my favorites and definitely worth a try if you haven't. The Vietnamese coffee is truly authentic which has a very strong taste and will give you the caffeine kick. The regular tea drinks are not worth it since you can get it at The Street for much less. A small here is around $3.75 plus charge for add-ons and size upgrade which makes it $5.00 or more. The street is only $3.75 for a large with boba! They do have a lot of variety which is really nice. Super cute Boba shop in the Asian district. You can enter it from either the outside or inside the plaza. I love that they have a huge variety of flavors they even have smoothies. They have options with or without Boba. It's decorated very gorgeous inside a total vibe. I will say I came here on a Sunday and the wait was about 20 minutes long. Watermelon smoothie: not overly sweet, and very good refreshing flavor. Add honey boba to this! 2. Green tea smoothie: much less sweet than Starbucks green tea frappachino, they use good quality green tea which I like. Add honey boba to this! 3. Sea salt iced coffee drinks. 4. Any of their specialty drinks are refreshing and have unique textures. Here are a few of my favs: Paradise, Summer Cold, House cocktail. 5. Honey dew smoothie: reminds me of melona bars that I used to find in Hawaii. This is fruity yet creamy and not overly sweet. Add honey boba! 6. Mango smoothie: this is my mom's fav. Taro smoothie: again straight taro flavor, not enough sweetness. I know many reviewers like this one though.. I just really couldn't drink the whole cup. Not a refreshing taste 3. Really enjoyed my first take at the Royal Milk Boba with brown sugar, which is almost like a dulce de leche, and first time drinking a Coconut Grass Jelly drink. So good. Birthday splurged and it was well worth it. No caffeine in either of these drinks. The Boba was not too chewy, not too firm, slightly slimy and sweet, just right. The grass jelly was very yummy in its unique flavor (not like grass guys), a soft jello-like starch you can basically drink. Definitely coming back to try more firsts. I had no idea what a huge Asian community there was in Mesa, and I believe the highest growing group are the Vietnamese because Mekong Plaza is a popular shopping center with tons of Vietnamese and Chinese eateries. I came here by accident because I was looking for a cup of tea late in the evening and it appeared most of the other cafes in the vicinity had already rolled up their carpets. Of course this was a boba place filled with Asian adolescents focused squarely on their phones. But wait there was more... You can also get shaved ice and hot Cheetos. Hot Cheetos? I played it safe and stuck to my original intention. We were craving shaved ice after our Chinese noodle dinner (across the street) and was super excited when we found this place on Yelp. Luckily the line was not too long. We waited about 20 minutes for four medium size shaved snow. They ran out of black sesame and vanilla flavors. So we got the mango, pistachio, and matcha flavors. Tea snow is an amazing tea place. The quality of the tea and all their add ons are top notch. They have the traditional flavors and they have things like cookies and cream. The add ons range from fruit, boba, jellies, egg custard, to more fun options! My favorite is their traditional milk tea with egg custard (think flan) . My normal weekly order is the milk tea with egg custard, Mom's green fruit tea, Dad's iced coffee with boba, brother's strawberry banana shake with boba, and sister's taro milk tea with extra boba. So you could say we like this place . Today we had a slight mishap with my order (Carmel green milk tea with custard). The lady making my drink put boba in instead. I am fasting so I am very intentional with what I eat when I can. When I went back to get it remade, they were all kind about it. They fixed it super quick too. I would also like to add that that was the first time an Oder was messed up. The party in front of me had about 12 people and the party after was around 9, so I completely understand it. The shop itself is always very clean. When you look at the add on section of the counter it's clean and separate, like they aren't dropping boba into the strawberries. My third extremely bad experience here where the drinks were small and full of ice. As you all know, 98% of my revIews are positive so if I write a negative review, it must be really bad. First of all, the wait here for a drink is extremely long. They seem to be extremely slow at making the drinks or chatting behind the closed doors, not caring about the customers waiting for their drinks. Secondly, one of the servers Q has taken a dislike to me and I nooticed when she is working, my drInks are smaller and full of ice instead of ingredients. The boba here was delicious!!! You can enter this cute little shop through the outside of the plaza or through the inside of the market as well. There were a few other customers when we arrived on Monday evening. They have a ton pictures of the drinks along the back wall if your wondering what to get. We ended up getting two drinks. I originally wanted Thai tea and jasmine milk tea but was told I could only pick items that stated "split-cup" next to it. Which to me, it's illogical. Awesome Coffee, Tasty Shaved Ice, Friendly Staff! Conveniently located in the center of the Mekong Plaza to the left of the main entrance doors. Four years this place has been one of our favorite go to spots to grab a coffee or shaved snow or any of the other yummy treats they have here. The Vietnamese coffee has been one of our main go to's. It's super delicious and full of flavor! Now they also have cold brew coffee which is also really good! Now I switch it up between the two during my visits. They have really good shaved snow here, it's more like shaved juice or shaved flavors and not as much as just some bland ice that has flavored syrup on it like some places. This place actually makes the snow already have the flavor in it so you don't end up with any spots lacking flavor just all goodness! I like a little condensed milk and mochi on the top of mine. I have also had the sunset drink, it's a pretty tasty and refreshing drink to have on a hot summer day. I don't remember all the names of all the other ones I've tried over the years so I should probably try to pay more attention to that next time and update my review again. Wow I'm impressed. This is the first time I have Boba. I know, I'm way behind on this great invention! I've been wanting to try it for the longest time but I never had the courage, just because I had no idea what it could taste or feel like in terms of texture. Today, my colleague at work decided to treat me to the drink and he said Tea, Snow and Coffee was the best place to try it. There are so many varieties and so many combinations. My colleague asked the guys who worked there what they would suggest for someone who is trying the tea for the first time and the immediate answer was Honey Jasmine tea. They must have seen my hesitation in making a decision because they also said with that, "and we can give you a sample to try it first". So I tried it and it was an excellent tasting Jasmine tea! The flavor was great. It wasn't sweet though but they explained that with the addition of honey, it should be sweeter. This drink didn't necessarily come with Boba but it was a good start. So I asked if I could add Boba to and they suggested I add the Kiwi Boba pearls. The tea was served super cold. It tasted even much better with the addition of the honey and Kiwi. I am so glad I have finally tried Boba! For the people who have not tried it yet, I would suggest you do. There are endless options and there would definitely be a flavor and combinations that would suit every taste! Tea, Snow & Coffee definitely had many options to choose from. Really cramped space, a decent selection of milk teas, and okay taste. I've been here multiple times, each time giving it a chance to redeem itself but it always just ends up being "meh". The area to order is always cramped because it's small and everyone waits in that area. There's seating but not for groups. The last milk tea I got was the normal/original milk tea. Initially, I tasted a hint of chocolate but I didn't ask for it. Also, you would think that they would get that part correct because they have 'tea' in their name but not really. I've also tried the Thai tea and Taro milk tea, both were mediocre. The boba wasn't good, just chewy mush. Overall, there's probably better places around the area. Had to come back again after the fantastic durian smoothie and Vietnamese coffee with sea salt creme last time. Got the Chamango and sea salt honey green tea this time and was just as delicious.
