    Peach ginger tea with boba
    Nicole J.

I was in the mall walking to the food court when I came across this tea shop. I saw the free tasting sign and was curious about the flavors. I tasted 3 different tea that were all really delicious. There was also a sign that stated all boba teas were bogo. I decided on peach ginger with strawberry boba and mango passionfruit bellini with mango boba. They were both beyond delicious and not overly sweet. I can't wait to return again.

April 2023 There was an employee handing out free samples outside their store, which lured me in. They have a selection of teas, accessories, teapots, tea-ware, infusers, and gifts. Per their sign, their teas are natural and organic. I purchased a medium taro milk tea with boba and taro syrup. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as others I have had elsewhere. The tea was not as flavorful and more on the watery side. All the employees were super friendly and engaging with my friends and I. This level of service will certainly help to attract returning customers.

Got some Boba tea from this spot while passing through the food court with my daughters. The inside of the shop withs nice with tons of flavors of loose team on the counter and along the walls. We were the only one's placing an order and it took a while for our drinks to come out. The girls got Taro Milk with Boba (no tea) and I got the Classic Milk Tea with Boba. Overall our drinks were lacking in flavor. Now while we waited for our drinks we tried some of the free samples and those were really good. So as we were waiting for our drinks our expectations were heightened based on the samples. Only to be completely let down after taking sips of the drinks we ordered. So I would not recommend going here for Boba Tea but it might be a place to go for a variety of flavored loose tea.

    More prepackaged tea and cups.

Wonderful spot to grab a quick, amazingly brewed cup of coffee in Bethesda! I first fell in love…read morewith Grace Street Coffee Roasters in college, when I would visit their OG location in Georgetown's Grace Street every Friday morning. Now that I've moved a bit further away from campus and no longer have a ton of time on Friday mornings, I've been feeling nostalgic about my old university favorite. So just imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Grace Street Coffee in Bethesda! This lovely little shop is a bit different from their Georgetown counterpart -- for one, they don't have any indoor seating and consist of just a tiny little window that you can order from and a small patio you can pop a squat on when the weather is nice -- but sports the same outstanding coffee and friendly service. Their coffee is great, all roasted in their historic Georgetown spot and featuring great caramel-y, fruity undertones. And, while they have a small shop in Bethesda, it is mighty; all of the drinks are prepared with expert precision and efficiency. You might have to wait in line for a bit, since there are only two people working here and it gets pretty busy, especially during the weekends, but it's 100% worth the wait.

Thought why not both? Meter parking all around should be easy to get if not on a Sunday. Not far away from a church is why: Overall coffee is not bad, I've had better around the area, so does the matcha. I'd come back for a quick coffee stop. There are other locations that may be an actual cafe shop. I think?

I usually order tonkotsu and am hesitant to try others since the broth makes all the difference but I ordered the shoyu ramen this time and it was delicious! Lighter than tonkotsu broth but still super flavorful. And the noodles had that good chew/mouth feel which makes all the difference. I also ordered the house black tea with boba and cheese foam which was also oishii! I appreciated that they had brewed tea options since often find milk tea to be too much with food. Sometimes places that do both boba and food nail one, but not the other but this place was great on both fronts! Service was quick and friendly as well.

The pork broth is standout, but I absolutely dream about the spider ramen. Named for the fried softshell on the top (which you can ask to swap for more shrimp), has a tom yum-like flavor. Creamy, spicy and slightly acidic, the broth could be poured on cardboard and I would eat it. Noodles are always perfect and the seafood is present, but not a huge portion - so you can focus on the broth. My only complaint? The lobster broth in the spider ramen dish is not listed as an option for the "make your own" bowl...which would allow me to perfectly customize it. I will regularly order the spider bowl in the meantime with no softshell, extra shrimp, and if I'm feeling down additional noodles and broth (allowing me to indulge for multiple meals) . Bubble tea is tasty - especially the rose milk tea. This place has a counter with a handful of seats and two tables for 4-6. After waiting for a table, we decided to mostly do takeout. We can order online. Would be great if they had a spot out front for takeout pickup as parking around the restaurant can be hard at times.
