Pistachio muffin! Mmm! I had one and had to go back a.s.a.p. to get another!

I've never been a regular at a café -- and I'd never found any café at which I'd want to be a regular -- until I found this one! I was always driving by it and thinking 'I really need to go there and check it out!' Finally, one day, I did. I discovered the treasure for which I am always searching -- Turkish coffee! I also found out that it's sometimes called 'Arabic' or 'Greek' coffee. It's so fun to learn new things! Another unexpected find here is the shakshouka (in the morning, during breakfast time until eleven a.m. -- so to get this along with the Turkish coffee is a perfect cultural connection for me, and that's what I love! There is also a really great selection of pistachio-flavoured things, such as the frappe, pistachio-cream-filled muffin, pistachio-cream-drizzled croissant, etc. De-li-cious! Oh, yeah, they have all kinds of other flavoured drinks and such, but I am highlighting and pointing out the pistachio because that is my favourite! Mmm! The little veggie quiche is very good, too! So filling, as well. Rich, creamy, dense, etc. I wasn't hungry for hours after eating it -- I would just say to be ready to hydrate with lots of liquid for a while upon completion of this delightful meal. The whole vibe of this place, by the way, is so much nicer than I had anticipated. It's roomy with comfortable, cool-looking seating coming in both chair and booth-like bench form with luscious cushions reminiscent of the Moon's or some other outer-spacey surface. The tables are sturdy -- no wobbling -- with plenty of space for all your goodies. It has nice lighting, large windows, and some coffee-themed wall decorations. The company is over a hundred years old! Not this location, of course, but the company. I think that's really cool! In addition to what's available to order at the counter, there is a nicely-sized cooled drink area with bottled apple and orange juices, fizzy flavoured and unflavoured waters, and shelves with coffee-scented candles. They smell so good! I don't know how long these will be here, but for now, they are pretty specialized little scent treats you can get for yourself or someone else. To be greeted with such welcoming smiles such as those I have received here by the people at the counter is a treat in itself, too! All in all, this place is a real find! Highly recommended! Yay! :-D

Great ambiance for doing work and great coffee! I tried their chicken salad sandwich and there was wayyyy too much mayo in there. Other than that, i like this place to do work

This coffee shop has lots of seats. It's got very nouveau seating with different combinations. I loved the regular drip coffee. Noticed the cups have a slight curve at the bottom that fits well with the saucer's center. That's excellent attention to detail. Very friendly employee at the counter. Noise level is low. Menu for coffee is extensive and food choice is light. I just had coffee and enjoyed it.

If you're in need of a little boost to get you through the rest of the week, consider heading to Filicori Zecchini at Park Potomac. Their iced mocha was smooth, not too sweet, and provided the afternoon pick-me-up I needed. I also enjoyed the pistachio croissant, which was flaky and filled with a good amount of pistachio cream. This one is definitely a must if you love croissants. Service was friendly and my mocha/croissant were ready in a decent amount of time. There's a good amount of seating indoors and some outdoors as well. Parking is available along the streets or in the lot/parking garage nearby.

Fabulous local place for a cup of nice coffee, a pastry or breakfast sandwich or a lunch. Very nice waitstaff. Both indoor (with air conditioning) and outdoor (in sun or shade) seating. Lovely place to go with friends or your laptop.

If you are in the Park Potomac area off of 1-270 and you need coffee, breakfast or lunch, go to Filicori Zecchini. It's a delightful and spacious coffee shop in the apartments around Park Potomac. There is a full range of coffee options. The pastries are beautiful (and with a vegan and a gluten free option) and the lunch menu is long (including soup!). I am always amazed at how large the space is inside, and in the warm weather, there are numerous tables outside (some in the shade, some in the sun). The baristas and the kitchen staff are always friendly.

Visited yesterday and absolutely loved it. The ambiance has a charming European vibe, though a bit of background music could really amp it up. The latte was phenomenal--smooth and rich--and the chocolate chip muffin was perfectly moist and delicious. The customer service was fantastic, with the friendly lady at the counter making the experience even better. Definitely the best coffee shop I've found in Potomac so far. I'll be back!

This coffee shop is stellar for both coffee and finding a place to bring your laptop. I was so impressed with how many outlets are all around the seating at Filicori. It was not a problem at all to find a spot where I can maintain my laptop charge and get work done. Additionally the wifi was free and worked extremely well for the 2 hours I was there. Filicori has a great selection of beverages and even some seasonal drink items. I enjoyed a soy decaf gingerbread latte. This latte was delicious with the perfect amount of ginger flavor and not too sweet. It was also extremely filling for a latte so I didn't feel a need to order food with my drink. I do wish that this business would get some vegan options. If I was hungry I would have only been able to order potato chips or a plain bagel with no spread. I hope next time this business can have some food available for me to try. Like I said I was really happy with this latte so even with no food I give this business 5 stars. I will definitely be back to support this coffee shop next time I am waiting for my dog's grooming appointment to be done. I got a lot of work done and really enjoyed the ambiance and coffee options.

Arriving early to a client breakfast at nearby MoCo's Founding Farmers, I stopped into Filicori Zecchini, giving me an excuse to avoid ordering Founding Farmers crappy coffee. I'm so glad I did! The space comes across as a little sterile and cheesy and the service isn't warm, but I really enjoyed my latte. It was the perfect temperature and very tasty! If you want a good latte, stop in!

Came here late afternoon of November 16, your average Wednesday, around 4:30. Didn't expect it to be packed! We got the last table available, there is another little alcove tucked off to the side but it seemed to be being used as storage? Too bad it isn't available for seating when the place is super busy? Without heaters outdoors, by that point in the month it was too chilly to sit outside. Just a thought for the future- as we were meeting someone here, we almost left before we found the last (not cleaned) table by the door. I ordered the vegetable quiche, which is served as a 'personal' sized round pie, not a slice of your traditional size quiche. For lunch, or a snack, this could have been shared by 2 people as it is also served with a side salad, more than I had intended to eat for a coffee date haha A little dry for my taste, but that may be in part due to the individual portion process or just the recipe- tasty none the less :) I ordered a hot tea to go with it. When ordered to dine-in they serve you a tea pot and cup. Hit the spot!

I specifically asked for the meat to be well done and lean with no fat. The waitress said that wouldn't be a problem, but the sandwich came out not well done, fatty, and pretty tasteless. The horseradish sauce also had almost no flavor whatsoever. I don't even know why they call it horseradish honestly. The au jus seemed weak and watered down too, or maybe just old. Either way, it wasn't good. Overall the meal just felt really off compared to what this restaurant used to be. Maybe it was an off night, I don't know, but it definitely wasn't the experience I expected. Not sure if I'll go back again. Tatte has a lot of seating, however, they are so popular it often feels small when waiting in line to order. A few times I have visited I could not find a table and had to take my latte to go. If I visit outside their busier hours or I get lucky I have snagged a table and had the luxury of drinking my latte at a table inside. Despite how crowded it is inside I can always hear my friends and carry on conversation indoors easily. Occasionally it has been hard to hear when your order is ready so I definitely recommend checking in at the pickup area to make sure you get your latte while it is hot. So far my favorite latte is the Black Sesame Latte with nondairy milk. It is not too sweet, a little nutty, and so smooth. I especially love visiting Tatte in the fall for their version of a pumpkin spice latte. The syrup they use is dairy free which is challenging to find. I do wish Tatte had more vegan options, and more clearly labeled on the menu what can be modified to be vegan. Part of the reason I have not tried any of the food is because navigating the menu as a vegan is challenging. I hope they can make some changes so I can have breakfast or lunch with my latte in the future. For now I love visiting Tatte for a treat yo self moment. I love the high ceilings, layout, seating; it's giving French café with a twist. The desserts look phenomenal and their coffee/tea selection covers all the basics with a few extras (like pistachio, black sesame, and halva syrup), MEM tea blends, matcha, as well as a selection of coolers that sound absolutely divine using white peach/mint, strawberry/cardamom, and mango/ginger syrups. Who doesn't love a housemade syrup? I ordered the honey halva latte, raspberry meringue, pistachio cherry tart, and a plain butter tube (comes with 17 butter cookies). The butter cookies were perfect dipped in coffee, but almost everything else fell short. Looked divine, tasted so-so. The raspberry meringue might be one of the prettiest desserts I've seen but the filling left something to be desired. It had an odd aftertaste, while the pistachio tart barely had any kind of flavor. The coffee was, in a word, disappointing. The crumb cheesecake cup was tasty, but it felt like it was missing something. The woman who rang me up also wasn't friendly, which seemed a little odd considering that I'm a paying customer. Like she had an attitude for no reason. A simple "pick your coffee up over there" would suffice, considering that it was my first time and the barista was located on the other side of the establishment. Would I come back? If a friend wanted to go. Would I make it a point to? Probably not. My visit had good points but overall it just felt like something was missing.

The most "interesting" inconsistency was with hot tea, which we ordered every morning. Some servers brought us a plate with a large selection of teas, some servers asked us our preference and brought us just those. One server actually poured the hot water for us (which I was advised is actually a no-no when it comes to serving tea). None of these inconsistencies bothered me too much. I am from Florida, cafe con leche is a staple at most places down there, so I thought I knew what it should taste like. I was going to throw it away and order a new one but my husband took it to the front and asked them to remake it. The manager said it would taste the same and suggested that maybe i just didn't know what a cafe con leche was (a bit rudely) and suggested they make me a latte instead. My husband agreed, and before hanging him the latte, manager went up to him and told him he had to pay the 30 cent difference since a latte is more expensive. He of course obliged, but I just thought the whole situation was handled poorly. The new latte tasted great. I returned a third time after that and again ordered a latte and a blueberry muffin.
