Reasonably priced, small breakfast menu. Not a ton to offer in terms of pastries, but everything looked great. A freezer stocked with homemade dinner pies; Adorable Maine-centric gifts and art; An interesting collection of wines for sale... I believe it was the proprietor, who was the sole person behind the counter when we went. He was very friendly. Temper your expectations, because it is not a big French bakery, or an artisan bread or full diner breakfast kind of place. But it is quirky, satisfying, and does what it does really well.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich and pastry to-go. There weren't a ton of options for sweets, but I did stop by in November. I'm appreciative that it was even open, as most local spots close in the "off" season. The breakfast sandwich was so unique! There were scallions cooked into the fried eggs, which was a super interesting, flavorful touch. My pastry was a maple oatmeal cookie sandwich. Holy. Moly. This was insanely good! I'd stop again to try some other pastries.
