I'm not sure what this place is. The place is absolutely packed with rugs, jewelery, lights, stationary and endless little weird things. In fact everything in this place is weird. They sure love to talk. It's almost as if they don't really care if you buy anything they just want you to appreciate the strangeness of it all. My wife is an avid collector of weird natural stuff so this place delivered a religious experience for her. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, it's like being in a natural history museum. The father works in the store while the son is out scouring the world for natural oddities. It's a obviously a labor of love. You can feel the passion behind the items in the store. It feels like a curated collection that you can get your hands on at reasonable prices. Also, the signs accompanying the products are fantastic. My wife and I are both designers/writer so we were geeking out over them. They are beautifully designed and hand lettered and humous - they added a great texture to the experience in the store. We asked a very valid question about one of the pieces and they both rolled their eyes at us and talked to us like we were stupid. My nephew had been in the store after we had left and witnessed a different couple buying something and those same employees were super rude and after they left my nephew heard them say "stupid tourists". I came here last year and had a great experience but who ever they decided to hire needs an attitude adjustment.
