On the other end, though, this tea did lean more watery rather than creamy. What did stay consistent across the two stores was the boba, which comes a bit softer than our ideal texture, but the sweetness of the sugar that they must have steeped these boba in definitely shined through. I wouldn't say they tasted like brown sugar boba, but my sister says that they did; point being that you'll get some kind of sugary taste and isn't that all you really need to know?

After trying a few of their drinks, I would rank Gong Cha as being around the same level as Kung Fu Tea. I like that this location normally makes their drinks starting at the 70% sugar level, which is a plus in my book. Overall, out of the drinks I've tried, there haven't been any standouts that result in me craving Gong Cha when that bubble tea craving hits. But, the drinks I have liked have been pleasant. But then, they have wifi, except that it doesn't work!!! Both the cafe wifi and the guest wifi have unknown errors (not password related) that prevent you from connecting. Between the table shaking and having to drain my hotspot, I got frustrated in under 10 minutes and left. I don't think every cafe, especially boba cafes, needs to cater towards workers & studying students. If Lulu cafe put in 2 big tables instead pod all the small ones and didn't offer wifi in the first place I wouldn't have been bothered.
