Petite menu
Lizzy B.

We toured in San Antonio and had a great experience! The interior of course was so adorable and whimsically decorated. We had the petite menu which consisted of 15 items and that was plenty of food, actually had some leftovers. All of the pieces were tasty and the 4 teas we tasted were delicious. Our tour guide was great and she even sang. Overall a fabulous experience with my 3 daughters.

What an experience! Highly recommend! Just take a look!!! Live music, live entertainment inside! Great food, perfect amount of tea and just the overall experience! The bus driver was the sweetest! The cutest singer/commentator ever!

The entrance to the bus( The whole staircase looked this way). I was scared to go to the restroom

My experience was disappointing. I booked the tour way in advance for my daughter and I. We were the first tour of the day 10:00 am, and they were 45 mins late...not to mention how dirty the entrance to the bus was. I am very big on sanitation when it comes to things like this. Also, for 90 bucks, you would think you'd get more tea....1/4 of a cup. The tour was supposed to be 1.5 hours and it was less than an hour. Arrived back before noon. Also the sugar container on the table was filthy, and included unused and used sugar packets. It was ok, but won't do it again. Great concept if done right. Wasn't entertaining at all.

$100 for around 90 mins. The tea and food were meh, but it's instagramable in terms of the photos. We went for a friends bday and made some good memories with each other.

Horrible customer service! Our booking was canceled by Tea Around Town via email 14 days ago. I have followed up 4 times via email, called, and chatted the online services, unable to reach anyone, and have not received any correspondence to rebook or receive a refund. Be cautious of booking!

Very cute and unique experience. Good length of time, the food was a sufficient amount of all of us ( egg salad sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, deviled eggs, and a variety of delicious desserts). You are bright different types of teas throughout the trip. There was Bridgeton- style music on, and there was guide tour with facts and the history of certain locations all around town. The service was great and the staff entertained us with a few games and prizes. The best part, for me, was the fact that they provided an adorable box to take any left overs home and we get to keep the tumbler as a souvenir. Very cool way to see downtown Austin! Would go again.

Here I am just waiting to get started.

My friend and I went on this tea around town to just celebrate life and friendship. We had a wonderful time. The food was so good and tasting all the teas was so fun. Tiff was our hostess and she did a great job. Saint was our waiter and he was so friendly and so funny. I just loved him. I would definitely do this again.

My wife asked me to come, so I did. Is it foo-foo? Yes. Was it enjoyable? ABSOLUTELY. Let's begin with the staff, they are an absolute delight. From the two young men that served us, to the delightful tour guide that sang a number of songs while we toured the city. The young men were astutely observant, making sure that all the patrons were well cared for. We had the VIP experience. The service was on par with what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant. The voice of our tour guide was utterly angelic. The tour bus was well equipped for its purpose. A nice touch are the souvenir travel mugs that you will leave with. The tower of food offers so many delicious choices. They will give you a nice to go box to take what you don't eat with you. All and all, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the city in this mode. You get to see the highlights of the city and enjoy the ride with excellent service in the process. We are planning to take some friend along and do this in Dallas. It is well worth the price. ENJOY

At first, I sat on the upper level. It was wonderful to be out in the fresh air. However, the sun was a little too much for me so I had to move down to the inside area. I was the only one down there which was fine, but it was really quite filthy. There was thick gray dust on the top rail of all the seats and the fabric on the seats themselves was all thick with black grease. The tour guide was really wonderful. Entertaining and knowledgeable with one exception that was actually kind of disturbing to me personally. When we got to South Congress he talked about the "I love you so much" wall. His story of a husband painting it for his wife could not have been more wrong. It was in fact done by an artist named Amy for her then girlfriend Liz an infamous Austin hotelier and restauranteur. It is an incredibly iconic part of Austin history and if it's told it should be not fiction. I hope for sure this can be corrected for future tours.

A few tips: - Don't forget your sunglasses and sunscreen if you plan to sit on the upper deck. -If you're tall, consider sitting on the left side of the upper deck to reduce the chance of getting hit in the head by low branches. -Bring cash in case you'd like to tip at the end (optional). -If you're hearing impaired, arrive early to increase your chances of getting a seat up front (on upper deck) closer to the guide. Despite being mic'd, there were times it was a bit challenging to hear. -If you get a single loop trip, you're better off staying on the bus the whole tour. If you get off at any of the stops, you won't be able to hop back on. Have an open mind and have fun!

Our tour guide was really nice and friendly. Our group consisted of just the three of us so it was essentially a private tour. We got some history and insights of the city, a nice comfortable ride, and were able to get out and stretch our legs. If you prefer a more traditional tour, this is an excellent option.

The reservation before us was late and instead of cutting into their time, it pushed our reservation back. Originally we were told we were only going to get pushed back a half an hour and then when we got to the pick up spot at 2:30 we were contacted and told it would be closer to 3:00 and then a little bit after 3 o'clock we were told the bus was on its way, but were not given a timeframe. The bus pulled up about 3:30 but the bus driver had to clean up and restock and give us the rundown of how the afternoon would work and we didn't leave until closer to 4:00. Tour itself was fun; open air bus, music, sightseeing. We were only on the bus for an hour and a half instead of what should've been a two hour excursion. Once we were off the tour, we contacted the company to ask what they could do for us for the time inconvenience (late and shortened tour); either refund some of the cost or they to pay the mandatory tip to the driver instead of us coming out of pocket more. WHILE WE WERE STILL STANDING ON THE SIDEWALK NEXT TO THE BUS the company calls the driver and tells her we weren't impressed with her service and that we weren't tipping her. When she asked us about it we told her the truth about the phone call and how we asked for the company to either refund us some of the cost or have them pay her tip for the inconvenience. We've been home for a week and the company has failed to contact us back. Horrible business management. Book a tour at your own risk.

The shiny articuno day was 29 raids in a 3 hour period and it was awesome! I love the team leads and the sit and relax vibe you as the traveler gets to participate in. Also, you get snacks, drinks, beer (for the adults) and Jell-O shots sometimes too! It's very austiny and the one day we did our jammed packed raiding, we got offered free burgers off the East side!
