I was in the area for lunch and found Tea Addicts to be the only boba shop in the area. It smelled like fresh fried food when I walked in, always a nice aroma. Phoenix Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.50) - The tea is pretty good, perfectly sweetened at 50%, with a nice oolong fragrance. The creamer is complementary, adding body but not overwhelming the flavor of the tea. Half ice is appropriate; there's enough to entirely cool down the drink and just a couple more small cubes on top to keep it cool. The boba is of a smaller variety, probably about half way in between a mini boba and the typical size. They unfortunately have a number of nooks and crannies around the surface and are bit too firm, resulting in a chew that isn't quite there versus the competition. The pearls do have a nice sweetness, being honey soaked, which also lends softer, more velvety layer on the most exterior portion. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 Overall I found the drink to be pretty good. I wish the boba was a bit better in texture, but Tea Addicts is a surprisingly solid boba shop, and the only one within walking distance of Roosevelt station. I'd visit again next time I'm in the area. Bathrooms: Single unisex room

There was no one here when we arrived. Cashier was really nice! We ordered jasmine milk tea and classic milk tea both with boba. We loved both our drinks! Drink was very tasty! Jasmine was floral and refreshing and classic milk tea was one of the better tasting classic teas I've had. Boba was soft and chewy. Milk teas are dairy free which is an added bonus but they do also offer milk alternatives. They offer board games here. Plenty of seating. Very cute place. Def recommend

Modern and spacious interior. The staff was nice and friendly. We had a Taro Milk Tea w/ Boba and a Mango Milkshake w/ Boba. Both were delicious! If the place was a little cleaner, I would give 5-stars. Cute place and friendly staff. I recommend.

After Dawn, Four Season Milk Tea

The cashier is very friendly. This was not my first time here, but they are still happy to recommend me. They have a seasonal menu which is very interesting to try. This time I got a After Dawn and Four Season Milk Tea. The music is a bit loud for me, but the environment is still good for working.

    Phoenix tea with soy crema

1st time seeing a non-dairy (soy) crema! I'd give the soy crema itself a 7/10 relative to dairy creamas, but 9/10 for the fact that it's non-dairy and they managed to make one!!! Good flavor, but was slightly more foamy than creamy in the way that it essentially melted into the drink halfway through. But would still recommend it for non-dairy folks who want to try crema!!! Rose milk was rosey, not quite perfumey! It's a fine line. The phoenix tea had good flavor. Boba was well cooked. In general I liked their flavor options and would def go back to try some others! Sweetness and ice are adjustable. They have non-dairy milk options too so vegan boba enjoyers don't have to stick to fruit teas, which was nice for my pal.

Popcorn chicken and royal milk tea

***BEST POPCORN CHICKEN*** That I've ever had at a boba shop ! It was juicy and tasty and the perfect amount of spice ! The only thing I could say was that having sauce options would've made it that much better. The royal tea was good and so was their crystal boba. It's a little pricey for me to say it's GREAT (~$7). They also have milkshakes and hot drinks options ! They weren't busy so it came out in less than 5 minutes. The place is decorated with a beautiful mural of the space needle surrounded by cherry blossoms. Would go back purely for the popcorn chicken.

Tea Addicts has been the best boba place that we discovered in 2023 (I should really trust of daughter's POV ). The owner of the place brings a unique boba tea place which has high quality tea but also no-caffiene drinks like blended yogurt and smoothies. Usually boba place does not have tasty snacks but the popcorn chicken was out of this world! Mango Fruit Tea $5.75 Brulee Milk Tea $6.25 Rose Yakult Refresher $5.25 Popcorn Chicken $8.5 I like the boba shop is bright, the music is a little loud. But the owner is super helpful and recommended great drinks for us.

We live in the area and have been waiting for this place to open. It finally did and we saw that they had a BOGO deal so we stopped by. Tea Addicts is located on the first floor at Centerline Apartments. There is limited street parking but it's conveniently located a couple blocks away from the Roosevelt light rail station. We got the hokkaido milk tea ($5) with 50% sweetness and pudding ($0.75). At first it tasted a little watered down but as we continued drinking it the flavors settled in and they came out more. We also got the mango blended yogurt ($6.50) with 50% sweetness. It was super thick at first which made it harder to sip but it got more liquidy as it went on. You can taste some of the mango flavor but not as strong as the Greek yogurt flavor. I think the drink was supposed to have mango bits in it but it didn't so I was a little disappointed. One thing we noticed was that the line for ordering overlapped with the line for pickup. People had to wade through the people in line to grab their orders which occasionally caused a traffic jam. We did have to wait a while for our drinks but that was a combination of there being a lot of people and just a newly-opened business' growing pains. Both of our drinks grew on us and they were pretty good.

Super bright and clean interior with so many drink and topping options for a decent price! Ordered the matcha mango and it was so fresh and sweet.

Had a fantastic dinner at Ong Lam close by, still wanted to catch up and talk about politics afterwards with the homie so found a place that would let us sit as long as we buy something of course, looked up boba spots and Tea Addicts was only minutes away and still open. We also are not in this area often so wanted to try a new place that's not a franchise, Tea Addicts it was. Due to the heavy dinner and limited daily calorie consumption, didn't felt like ordering anything with balls, just a plain Thai iced tea. God, I love Thai iced tea. I like how you can adjust the sweetness here. Plenty of seatings, nice white space, can't complain. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Matcha strawberry, rose Yakult,, and taro milk tea

The boba is so chewy and fresh. The favorites are pretty good too. We had the taro, matcha strawberry, and rose yakult milk teas and they were a hit with everyone. The two young ladies who worked there were super friendly and there is plenty of sitting to just sit around and hang out. There is a parking garage next to the shop so there is plenty of parking

Mango Yogurt w/ Crystal Boba & Phoenix Milk Tea w/ Tapioca Pearls

Came here with a couple of friends the other night, and the place was pretty empty. Something felt off while in there, but I realised it was because there wasn't any music or anything playing, so it was very quiet in there. I ordered their Mango Yogurt w/ Crystal Boba with 50% sweetness, and I thought it was really good! It was nice and smooth, and it was quite flavourful. I'm down to try their other drinks to some other time. My friend also got the Phoenix drink, but I think they said it was just mediocre, nothing special. I'll probably come back again, but I also want to check out there other location in Cap Hill.

A little bit noisier than I would expect for a boba shop at 5:30 PM on weeknight, there were about 6-10 people there the entire time (some working/studying on laptops and others chatting with friends). The boba was cooked correctly and my partner and I liked our drinks (brûlée boba and strawberry Matcha boba). Service was slower than I expected when I saw three employees working (10 to 15 minutes for our two drinks, and two beverages were served before ours) staff were kind and overall we enjoyed our experience! I'm sure I will be back soon.

My partner still really likes his usual which is the mango pomelo sago. I think it's one of their best sellers and is a pretty safe order if you don't know what to get. We didn't get any this time, but I do like their mochi. If you've acquired the taste, the durian mochi is solid. Service: (5/5) Ordering is mostly done through the kiosk at the front but I still appreciate how fast they get things out.

It's great, since you can pick up a drink and a snack at the same time! I got the mango sticky rice drink. I thought that the sweetness level was perfect, and that the ratio of all the ingredients were perfect. The rice was super tender and easily able to be slurped up with the boba straw. I usually like to get boba with my drinks, but I though this drink is perfect unadorned as it is. By the way, this drink is super filling. It's enough to be a meal on its own. I recommend getting the peach yogurt drink as is.

That being said, it's an alright spot for sweet fruit teas or smoothie blends, as a dessert option. I tried to order 30% sweetness and I guess they don't support that. I don't remember other stores but sounds right, as their less sugar is 50%. Store is huge and spacious, but hard to work in because they blast music. There's also no real self service which can be a hindrance. Napkins, straws, other supplemental items are not available upfront. Service here was extremely transactional. I imagine they hire college students so that's nice, but training is lacking. Lack of warmth and comfort. Made me not even want to stay or ask for anything, so also no idea if wifi is available to the public. Password is not written anywhere. Restrooms not available. Underwhelming overall. Wintermelon Milk Tea - they got the wintermelon taste down, it's just excessively sweet. Good in a pinch or for a refresher. I will say their cup sizes are large, which perhaps makes it similar to the super sweet drinks at some coffee chains.
