Metronet is more stable with a low ping in the 50s or less. The install guy did a decent job he ran a CAT5 cable along the siding up into the addict. Though we needed another guy to come back out and put new ends on the cable. Service goes down about 2-3 times a day. Service people on the phone say it's losing power. Might be the power supply or the box outside. Then the service tech comes out and says it's your router because it's not metro-net's router. So this won't be resolved. I can't go back to Comcast, because it was worse than this. But I wish it was better.

They are professional and mindful of you time. They address issues quickly and professionally. The price you pay is the price you pay, there are no gimmicks or games with them. This alone is worth so much too me, with OTHER providers you have to call back every so often and spend hours on the phone trying to negotiate your bill down. NO MORE. Any time she has an issue with her Apple phone she simply walks in and they show her what she needs to know, or simply fixes whatever she "accidentally clicked". Something that I didn't even approve that ended up costing me $400 for a one month phone bill I went in to speak to the manager (short blonde lady) about it And she basically said she couldn't do anything for me and I was out the money because It had already been taken out of my account. All because her employee made a mistake by starting a process for a trade-in device that was literally stolen and I didn't even have. there's got to be some sort of fine print of not having the customer being held accountable for your own workers mistake because he processed something I didn't approve. I ended up getting a credit on a month and half of a bill, then backdated that credit in one month a $400 phone payment came out. Again, because their employee tried to start a trade in on a device I don't even have. The West Lafayette, location and employees are 10 times more customer oriented and helpful.

Online my phone showed a no charge upgrade and suddenly I now owe $500 on the new phone and was required to change my plan. Talking with Verizon today on the phone I have discovered this location lied to me about the requirements for the upgrade in order to get more money from me. They could already tell I was confused with the changes they were trying to make and took full advantage of it. Hopefully Verizon customer service can erase this contract I was tricked in to taking. I was not required to change my plan for the upgrade and according to the promotion online I should owe nothing on the new phone. This locations number doesn't even work to call. Take my advice and do everything online to avoid being scammed.

But these guys went above and beyond last week to help me! I large tree limb came down on an ATT line in my yard. After spending most of one day trying to find a local ATT office that could get this limb off the sagging phone line in my driveway, I called LifeGrid to see if they run on ATT lines and maybe had a local number. Not only did they have contact with a local office, they set up the removal of the limb! It's not often a company goes out of their way to help a customer . . . this little company is amazing.
