I had an older pc sitting around that was outdated and full of viruses. I took it to Josh at NerdsComp and he had it running fine and upgraded my memory in it. He brought it back from the computer graveyard at a decent price. I have known Josh for years and he knows what he is talking about and can help out your computer no matter the situation.

Unique Tech is a one-man operation run by a nice guy called John that fixes whatever problems your computer has. He has worked on at least 4 of my family's PC's and laptops--primarily debugging them from assorted viruses. He also assisted me heroically on one occasion recovering my hard drive after my PC basically stopped working. I have always found John to be a competent and highly honest individual, and although his rates have gone up he is still way, way cheaper than the Geek Squads of this world. The reason that I won't give John 5 stars is basically that you have to track him down to get his services. Since he is a one man show, out solving the world's problems, he is almost never at his office next to the Crawfordsville train tracks. He doesn't give his cell number out to customers, which forces you to leave a voice mail, and then to come find him at his office when he is back there. When John is freed up, he will solve your problems effectively and quickly. When he is busy, you may need to wait a few days. If you know this, you make alternative plans when your computer is down, and you will be fine. He always solves the problem.

Turns out that is not a regular Verizon branch but is a retailer for them. Not sure exactly how it works. So far, this only seems to help my opinion of them. Fantastic customer service and a much better insurance plan on the phones than what is offered at at standard branch. We have had to visit here more often than I would like to admit (I am apparently really good at hurting my phone) and each time they have been able to help easily. If you come here during peak hours on a weekend, you may have to wait but usually they move quickly so it isn't too hard to just browse while you wait. The lose a star for my first visit here, they had promised to follow up with us after our initial phone purchase to confirm if we wanted to add insurance, they did not, we forgot (you only have two weeks to add it) and when I hurt my phone the first time, it was a headache.

I followed up two times and received no response. When I finally did get a response on the 3rd attempt, they supposedly had no record of ever being at my house, yet there was a text message exchange from April 18th in the same text message thread of them confirming an employee was on the way. They then asked me to do their job for them and tell them when the employee was there and what they were supposed to quote. Magically, it took them 2 minutes to deliver the quote via text! Only problem, they didn't quote everything they were supposed to quote. Seriously, this is not difficult, I am literally trying to give you business and you cannot give me a quote for what I asked for in an effective manner? I am trying to do business with what I thought was a nice, local, family owned operation, but apparently they did not take the business 101 class. I called again and asked for a complete, accurate quote to be emailed to me like any normal, professional business should be able to do. The lady again acted like she had no clue who I was and said she was going to look it up after gathering the same info from me that I had previously given to her multiple times. Once she found the information, she texted me back to say she had quoted me for the job....again...you quoted me for half of the job, not the full job. Pay attention to what I am telling you. I am trying to give you business for MORE than what you are even quoting, yet you cannot comprehend basic requests or produce a professional, thorough quote via email. It is sad because I feel like this is a good business with good people, but they lack in details and in the capacity to run daily operations in a way to where they know what is even going on. Sorry, but I tried...and tried...and tried... to give you business, but your own ineptitude (you might have to look this up to know what it means) failed you. Good luck...I will talk to some of your employees who will tell me what is really going on there.
