I would have appreciate the option to use CAT-5 to lower the cost but aside from that David was very profession and gave a very accurate estimate of the time and cost. He worked efficiently, cleaned up after the work was done, tested everything, and i've been satisfied with the work done. I will probably use them again in the future when I plan to install a ubiquiti network system.

Worked fast, talked through options as the mounting places weren't ideal, tested every run, and even installed my AP and camera for me (threw my back out and getting on ladders is aggravating atm). But corporate customer service is abysmal. They make it nearly impossible to speak to a human customer service rep. Computer prompts, AI voices, "and to better assist you I'll need a little more information", "we are experiencing unusually high call volumes", etc. Geez, if the phone company doesn't know when are the busy call times, who does?

We contacted Midwest telephone to service a system that they installed at a mutual clients…read morebusiness. This system was installed during the tenure of the previous IT directors. Once on-site to our surprise and dismay, their technician knew far less than our quick Google search had offered us. He know nothing of how the voicemail integrated into the system nor how to service or replace the necessary components. This lack of knowledge and utter ineptitude ended up costing the client weeks of downtime as we had to first scramble to find another provider that would even touch they system that was still under contract for service by another company. Then cost the client thousands as they had sold them a system that was so out of date that the components were no longer available only a year after installation

While consulting for a mutual client, this company was brought in to service our client's phone…read moresystem. Nearly a year later, after that client's ownership has changed, they are harassing our firm to pay the bill because the client will not. They were not able to service the phone system our client had contracted them to service, and another provider had to be brought in to resolve the issue. Can't say I blame the client for not paying them, as service was never really rendered. A piece of hardware was ordered and never delivered, and the technician just sputtered about the MDF without ever actually providing any resolution or information to the problem. But the icing on the cake is them leaving negative reviews for us because we refuse to pay a bill we don't owe. We shared a mutual client, and Midwest's ownership is now throwing a fit because that mutual client didn't pay them. Their tech is dated, their technicians are not knowledgeable or efficient, and their business practices are highly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go with Vonage before you enlist this company.
