It appeared the battery failed so a replacement was ordered, which is the most common cause of such situations. And she found a replacement that was very affordable ($70). The battery was replaced the next Sunday at my home again but power still didn't come one. So she re-inspected the inside of the laptop, made sure everything was connected properly, blew out the inside, took the new battery out and did some other things I cannot tell you what they were. But it has come back to life! I was fearful I would have to buy a new laptop. But thankfull NO!!! And the charge was an all-inclusive flat rate of $125.
