My veterinarian recommended this gem of a place to me and told me to speak with Wendy. I have had concerns for many years about large pet food corporations and was relived to learn that this place makes their own food in house and it is locally and ethically sourced as much as possible. The service was beyond impressive and we worked to find the best solution possible for my four small dogs, all with varying health issues. We met Billy one day coming back from our beach walk with our dog when he offered our dog a treat. He said it's just dehydrated chicken and it's like crack for dogs. After handing her a few of the treats, our dog instantly became hooked and kept looking back as we walked away. We kept their business card/flyer as they're a local business here in LB and wanted to go get more crack for our dog. We looked them up and fell in love with their bio and mission. It's a small shop located on Broadway and Temple right next to an also locally owned coffee shop. This couple was so pleasant to meet with and you could tell they are passionate in what they do. Billy helped us out in front and bribing our dog to do tricks with samples of the treats. You could see Wendy in the back making the food, but was also eager to come greet us and to meet our dog. There is a sign in front requiring customers to wear masks and they were both wearing masks. Hand sanitizer was also readily available for shoppers. I can't recommend them enough! After one of my cats had surgery she started having diarrhea. The vet tested her stool and everything came back normal and they had no real recommendations after probiotics. I tried other cat foods that are specific in digestive care and nothing helped. My poor baby went 3 months before I found TC Raw Eats. I am an RVT and I have seen a lot of questionable raw diets, TC Raw Eats is different . it's freshly made, (when you walk in you will see them making the food in the back), and it is packed with everything your pup needs, including more then just meat, they also pack the food with fruits and beans. They also list exactly everything in the food, not just general things such as "fruit blend" or "chicken blend" they provide a complete break down so if you have a pet with allergies you know exactly what you are getting. They also truly love animals and are willing to work with you and help you with your pet if they have allergies or if they have specific dietary needs. They also have uncommon options available for your pet such as Elk and Venison. If you are looking for a high quality food for your baby this place is definitely something special and I highly recommend it. The moment you walk in you are warmly welcomed and its clear that they love your pet almost as much as you do, they are very friendly and a pleasure to talk too. Also the price is very reasonable for what you are getting, at a little over $20 a bag (I do not remember the exact price). It is definitely worth the price.
