So I turned it off at the power source and called the local "5 Star" Heating and Air place (their name rhymes with 4 Bleasons). Who promptly sent a tech out that spent 15 minutes with the unit (maybe more maybe less, I didn't time) and declared that I needed new parts in excess of $1,300 (charging me $85 for that quote) ALWAYS, ALWAYS - A.L.W.A.Y.S. - Get a second opinion. My home warranty co. called Always Air - I'd assumed they would come out, take another quick look and make the same diagnosis. Hal showed up and spent a little less time and told me all I needed was a cleaning. For SIGNIFICANTLY less than what the other Co. had quoted me - Hal got my system up and running AND TRAINED ME ON PROPER USE OF IT (something the other Co. never bothered to help with). If you need HVAC repair - call Always Air FIRST and you probably won't need a second opinion. $130 I paid him and he had my whole system up and running

Basically all the other locals have a lot of reviews, and a lot of positives, but the accounts are suspicious, with few friends and only a handful if not only 1 review. Northern Continental was the first with some believable and useful comments. So I set up an appointment online and was immediately contacted by Tess, to share more info and set a date and time. Tess was patient and helpful and was able to answer many of he preliminary questions I had. Based on this experience, the business felt legitimate and worth proceeding further. Eric came to the house as scheduled. He diagnosed the capacitor and fan motor in about 10 minutes. He walked me through the why's and how's and gave me options and fair prices. The cost came up very fair, based on my researching local competitors. Eric was professional, polite, knowledgeable, customer focused, and he got the job done in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this company to the local community.

They worked alongside the plumber so he could repair the pipe between removing old ductwork and putting in new ductwork. It wasn't a simple job because they had to remove some dropped ceiling in order to get the ductwork out and in. They also replaced some damaged conduit and replaced the ceiling and trim. They fixed any issues they found, issues I did not even know existed. I could not be happier. Thank you!!

Honest, Friendly, Reliable, and Affordable with Top Notch Customer Service…read more I had my 20 year old AC go out on a nasty hot summer day and knew it was time to replace it. I called Bob and explained what my AC was doing. He diagnosed it over the phone, came out immediately and replaced the part. His concern was for the comfort of my family and I, not in how much he could sell me. Not only did he save me money and time, he literally saved the day. 1 month later, I decided to replace the original 20+ year old Furnace and AC. Bob took the time to provide me options and walk me through everything. He was available anytime I had questions and put together a package that made sense for my home. Never once did he push a higher priced item, or unnecessary upgrades. As for the install, Kyle was one of the most knowledgeable and courteous professionals I have ever met. From start to finish he took the time to explain anything I wanted to know and kept me informed of his progress. Many others would have done the minimum, but not Air-Tech. Any issues Kyle found, he fixed them. Adding an accessibile shut off switch, filter compartment, relocating my humidifier, cleaning supply lines twice, and triple checking his work to achieve perfection. The Furnace cosmetically looks amazing, the pressure from the vents has improved ten fold, and my home warms up much faster. The difference is amazing. If you need any HVAC work done, The choice is easy. It's Air-Tech. Not only will you get great products, prices, and service. You'll gain a few new friends too!!
