I always get The Feast with grilled chicken and Mediterranean salad, grilled potatoes and hold the vinegar. Hate the excess vinegar flavor but the food without the vinegar is cooked perfect and it's Really healthy. The fish sandwich is also good. I would recommend, just hold the vinegar lol. read more

The lamb is amazing, it doesn't have a gamey mutton taste. The lamb burger is very unique and flavorful. The new potatoes were good, i really enjoyed the seasoning they use. Been ordering takeout from here several times now and have found the food very flavorful. I have had checked, shrimp, lamb, and beef. The grilled veggies are really tasty and have a lot of flavor. When I order online the order is ready when they say it will be ready. For a reasonably priced meal and seemingly healthy, this is a great place to go. read more

Ordered the Lamb Gyro, someone cut corners on the Lamb. I know the taste of good Lamb and honey this ain't it. Over priced for product. Almost $15 for the sandwich, 10 or 12 potato chips, side salad. Chips were fresh, salad was wilted cucumber, soggy tomatoes and I could go on about product for price... They even have the tip register that they turn to you to see if you want to tip for walking in, placing your order, waiting and dissatisfying food. Last time here, hope it was an off day. My family and I met my best friend here. Most of the tables were clean. We ordered a kids grilled cheese with basmati rice. It came with a kids cup and straw that are plastic to take home. The bread is a wheat bread with seed husks in it. My child did not like that texture. Just incase ya have a picky eater like me. The basmati rice definitely has seasoning and a citrus, maybe lime in it. I ordered the hummus with pita. The hummus is not very flavorful and is dry. Not my favorite. As many times as we have dined here or gotten food to go I can't believe that I hadn't written a review. We love this place. Our favorites are the lamb gyro or the grilled chicken roll-up. Both are served with chips and one additional side. All items are cooked to order and delivered to the table. They don't have a huge selection of beer and/or wine but what they do have is sufficient. I decided to check out Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe today. I have heard some good reviews and wanted to try it out myself. Located on Hwy 98 in Daphne near Hwy 64, the location is superb. When you walk in , you do get that cafe feeling, tables, booths and high tops are very plentiful. Lots of seating. You actually walk up and order similar to a deli, and then take your number to your table. Very similar to Newks. The menu is pretty well represented by meats and seafood, as well as, vegetable dishes galore. So far so good! I ordered the Lamb Feast and a Coors Light. The Lamb was cooked beautifully, but I found it lacking in seasoning. The roasted red potatoes were very good as was the Greek salad that accompanied the dish. The food is good the service is terrible. I order delivery from here a lot but not anymore. I paid $9 for pita chips & hummus. They gave me an itty bitty souffle condiment cup of hummus instead of the 8oz container. Every time I order take out, they place the very hot items in the same container with the salad which arrives a soggy wilted inedible mess. I'm wasting food & money because of their lack of attention. And it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. Which tells me no one gives a damn about service I've placed my last order with them. read more

We are originally from Hoover, AL and loved Tazikis there. We have also eaten at the Tazikis in Tuscaloosa and it was good. When we moved to Fairhope last summer, I was so happy to find a Tazikis in Daphne, but we have eaten there three times now and I won't go back. The salmon is tasteless and the help is subpar. No one there, but the front door and windows were dirty as were the outside tables. Am so sad to write this review, but the owner/manager needs to look after their store if they want to stay open. Most folks understand how to decipher reviews, but my husband doesn't and he kept rejecting my suggestion to try this place. Anyway, I told him I would pick up food on my way home from the store so I drove completely across town when he wasn't with me and couldn't object. We're both glad I did! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Basil-Pesto Gyro for myself and ordered the Beef Tenderloin sandwich for him. I love the choices for sides - basmati rice, pasta salad, cucumber and tomato salad, fresh fruit or roasted new potatoes. I opted to go with fruit for myself and rice for the hubs. My gyro was pretty much exactly what the name says, an abundance of grilled chicken, pesto, feta and tomatoes in a soft and fluffy pita bread. The hubs' beef tenderloin sandwich was piled with tender and juicy sliced beef, melted Swiss cheese, mushrooms and grilled onions on a kaiser roll. Both were delicious as were the sides. I can't wait to try more items on the menu, which boasts something to please every palate, even picky eaters. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that the place doesn't have a tacky fast food restaurant feel to it. In spite of the fact the food comes out quickly, it's not fast food. It's cooked to order, but I digress... The place is aesthetically pleasing. The walls are painted a gorgeous shade of green and the woodwork is dark stained. It feels so inviting. It's the kind of place you'd definitely feel comfortable having dinner with the family or a casual business lunch. The service is exceptional. The girl who took my order was warm and friendly. I also met the owner who was working and I love seeing business owners actually involved in their business. The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.
