Rather than the six to eight weeks to get the doors installed, they told me it could be 3 or 4 weeks. Then they called and said they had the door in and could they do it later this week... Here we are a week later and the door is in. Great crew to install the doors and then a separate employee to paint and finish the trim. Meticulous. skilled craftsmen at work. Left a message, tried giving the benefit of the doubt. Got a call back from him later in the day saying he was sorry, but with the bad weather his cattle and/or his neighbor's cattle got out and he was getting them back to where they needed to be. I get that things happen, but he could've at least taken a moment to call me or text me to give me a heads up he'd either be late or need to reschedule. He's called a couple of times since then, at which point we advised him we were not moving forward. He called again today and I politely texted him back that we would be going with another company. He took it very personally and got extremely defensive, and provided a different excuse that it was a holiday weekend and he had family in town and if I couldn't understand that then too bad, basically. He knew it was a holiday weekend when he booked the appointment. If it was a bad time, then don't book the appointment, offer an alternative day. I'm attaching the screenshots of the messages because I also asked him at that point to not contact me again, yet he did. His behavior completely validates my decision for going with another company. This level of unprofessionalism is ridiculous.

I had Seemore Glass come out and fix a frameless glass shower door another vendor installed three…read moreyears ago. Since new, that door has been poorly aligned and finally started slipping out causing glass on glass contact. I attempted to fix it myself, but it would slip back out of alignment after a few days. It was super easy to book with Seemore, I used the Yelp quoting feature and he provided me a quote quickly and a rough idea of what he was going to do to fix the issue just from the couple pictures I uploaded. I prefer this method of communication so there are no surprises. He came early and got the job done quickly. He replaced everything he said he would and even replaced my screws as they were somewhat stripped. He also added a splash sweep which I never had. He didn't charge for these additions, and in fact he let me keep extra of the sweep that he didn't use (at least 6 feet) saying that they usually need replacement every few years. He easily could've kept that for another job. He didn't charge anymore for all the extras. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and now the door is perfectly aligned (better than new) and he assured me it wouldn't slip anymore! Seemore Glass is a standup vendor, and I would definitely recommend them!

A couple of weeks ago we had a new move-in and at the move in we noticed a window had been broken by a rock or something ejected from a lawn mower. This was mid afternoon and our new resident was rather panicked. Our manager made one call to Affordable and the window was repaired in about two hours, calming the waters on what could have been a really bad situation. My main point of contact was Cassie who I found to be friendly and easy to talk to. Even the guys that did the actual installs were freidnly, easy to work with and flexible with times. I had no problems in terms of customer service. However, after about a year some of the panes started fogging up, Cassie had them replaced for free under warranty. Then several more and once again they were replaced for free under warranty. As of now (2.5 years later) I have some 14 panes that are completely fogged up, unfortunately it looks like Affordable Screens and Glass has gone out of business. What sucks is I replaced a lot of panes because they were showing the initial signs of leaking (these are 20 year old panes), what I have now is significantly worse looking and did not even last 3 years.
