And while a normal application of a partial foil typically takes a half hour, it took her 45 minutes to do just one third. I knew I was in for a treat with this lady......but she didn't know that I'm Yelp Elite. God gave me strength to endure the three hour long session, but not without more shenanigans. When done processing, she noticed the color wasn't quite right. (She kindly offered to have me come back for free to adjust it, but honestly you couldn't pay me to go back there). Shortly after, someone walked in and she sprayed water all over my eyes and then clumsily dabbed at me with a towel. She didn't even rinse the shampoo out before adding the conditioner, she was so out of it! Finally, came time for the cut and I was nervous. I begged her to just take off a little as I was worried about what further mistakes awaited me. She made maybe 6 cuts and then started to blow dry. (I should probably be thankful she was a minimalist in that regard, but it wasn't what my hair needed). The final blow (pun intended) was the hair drying. She was so out of it that she couldn't use her hands to maneuver both the brush and the dryer at the same time. So when drying the hair near my face, she would run the sharply bristled brush up my skin to gather the hair. Ouch! And you guessed it, the hair was not styled at all, and was actually still damp when I left. I'm sorry that I was so cheap to buy the Groupon, and I'm sorry I didn't warn the woman who came in after me. Most of all, I'm sorry that Kimberly has no idea that she should not be running a business in that state of mind. This was the worst hair salon experience I've ever had and the biggest waste of money. I guess you get what you pay for!
