Daniel Garza is my colorist and stylist for more than four years. He is as particular as I am about my hair. I get highlights and lowlights every 3-4 months, full keratin treatments at least twice a year (these last 4 months with proper care), and the mini-treatments (these last about 6-8 weeks) two times a year. Keeping up my long tresses takes an investment of time and money, and Daniel meets my high expectations. I do not trust my hair with anyone else. He is consistent, friendly, experienced, and professional. The location is fantastic for me and parking is easy. I do wish the owners would update the appearance of the salon a little to something a little more cheerful. The wall color are outdated and so is the furniture. However, the stations are well placed and you have plenty of space in each area so you are not on top of the person next to you. read more

This salon is relaxed and laid back. Best of all, hair stylist Arlyn is there now. She has been cutting my hair for about 10 years and I followed her to this salon. Arlyn always gives me a cute cut that is easy for me to manage, and I am constantly getting compliments on my hair. I am so thankful to have found a super stylist who understands my super thick hair. I had very long hair and got a bob cut! I'd had this hairstyle for a while a couple years back but could never quite find someone to make it look how I wanted it. I was not happy with my highlights. They were very nice and did immediately offer to fix it when I wasn't happy but I couldn't go back during their hours for two weeks due to work. I definitely appreciate that and I understand they "weren't given an opportunity to fix" but I came ready with my exact formula (as a new client) and a bunch of pictures with exactly what I wanted - honey highlights on dark brown hair - same I've had for years and was visible in my hair already. I actually discussed the formula days ahead with the stylist. What I got was wacky yellow blonde streaks on my sideburns and the back of my head. I said I wanted a regular partial highlight, and specifically that I wanted to cover my root grays with the lighter shade, as usual. There is still a 3-inch dark top at my roots, aside from the very front pieces, which only makes it worse. Looks like a an egg cracked on my head while wearing a yamaka. I had to get some box dye the next day just to tone it down so I could see clients for work. I paid $130 plus tip and waited 2 weeks for that appointment. Maybe I got balayage? I didn't want that or ask for it and it looked terrible. On to the next. Won't be back. They're very nice and might work out for you but if you're a new client and strapped for time I would not recommend. You might need two sessions to get anything presentable. read more

I really like the décor of this salon. It has been sold and is under new management. I saw Kim and she did recommend great conditioning products for my hair. She also colored my hair, included a glaze and I really liked the result. Kim recommended a bob cut for me and there I could not agree as my style gets me compliments all the time and she did a straight hair do for me that day and I did not like it , nor did a friend I ran into outside the shop that day. This is a shop that caters to those that can pay the higher price for services, keep that in mind. read more

Everyone there is an independent operator.. so I can only speak upon this one person.. I went 3 visits (2 with extensions- 1 in between for color/highlights). Dede is a nice person.. but coloring and highlights is not her area of expertise.. i had to sit in the chair for 2 "re-dos" after initial highlights.. after first color and extensions. the color didn't exactly match.. but I could "wait".. since it was a first time with her.. maybe she needed to get to know me.. second time.. she did my hair and i went home... and the brown didn't match existing brown (not even close..) and the blonds were half pulled through.. I had to go back for a redo.. those mixed pieces were right in front.. last time were extensions.. with color and highlights.. I know we all need to be trying to make a buck.. but when you only do the minimum .. don't pull through the color.. and only color in where you "see it only".. it's a disaster.. I went home.. and the hair in back was not colored.. greys showing.. blonds (some yellow.. some white).. crown was white blond.. extensions stuck right in front so i can't do a pony tail .. let alone hardly have it down without a ton of hairspray.. i am talking close to $400.00 for color- 1/5 highlights- and less than 20 pieces of extensions.. some might love her.. but we were not a win win match read more

Leslie Lewis is my stylist and I won't go to anyone else ever again! She saved my hair after a really bad home hair coloring issue and subsequent cuts and colors have been terrific. I am always very, very pleased with my hair when she finishes. I used to have my hair done at a really pricey salon downtown and my hair never looked as good when they did it as it does now that Leslie does my hair. Totally recommend her services.
