He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent. He was such a good communicator and kept me in the loop with timelines and was overall very organized. He played a significant role in the night going as well as it did. My whole family, and most importantly my mom, had such a wonderful night. And I have Bob, Alan, and the rest of the staff to thank for that.

Do all possible combinations truly have value? At what point does variety become a little ridiculous? That said, the bones -- so to speak -- are very good. We ask if they have outdoor seating and they tell us they do, then they proceed to seat us in an area with windows and ceiling! And right next to a large and very loud Bridal shower (that would have been nice to know, we would have asked to be seated as far away as humanly possible.) Then we sit for 30 solid minutes without a peep from ANYONE. Then suddenly a confused looking young lady steps up and informs us "no one told her we were here." Guess that's OUR problem? Placed a drink order and another 20 minutes passes when I am informed it is no longer on tap. Drinks finally arrive, the "Craftsman IPA" is flat and "off" tasting. White wine was warm as if it was sitting in the sun. Food was not much better sadly. The Calamari was flavorless and tough - apparently someone forgot the Asian drizzle that was supposed to go on it. It was also that "fake" calamari where every piece is exactly the same size and shape. The "stuffed" meatballs were stuffed - with air! Literally nothing but a hole in the middle. The artichoke and crab dip had a strong fishy taste, it was so bad I feared it was tainted. To their credit they took it off the bill, eventually. We truly wouldn't have changed a thing. Our guests raved about the food and drinks just as much as we did! Since the ceremony and reception were held in the same room, the space had to be flipped during cocktail hour. We were a little worried our guests would notice or that it might be disruptive, but not a single person mentioned it. The transition was completely seamless, which is a huge testament to Vikki and her amazing staff. We worked with Vikki throughout the planning process, and she was incredible. She was responsive, organized, and present every step of the way. She coordinated with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and was there in person on the wedding day, which made such a difference. I had mentioned a few small personal touches I wanted set up, and without hesitation, she took care of every one of them herself. When we returned to pick up our belongings, everything had been packed neatly and carefully, which was such a thoughtful touch. We toured several other restaurant venues while planning our wedding, and at one venue we were told the coordinator would help us plan but wouldn't actually be there on the wedding day. That didn't sit right with us. Having Vikki there throughout our entire celebration gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. Vikki and the entire Park West Loft team exceeded every expectation we had. From the planning process to the last moments of our wedding night, they made us feel genuinely cared for. This place has so much potential but it is poorly managed. After COVID, they closed their parking lot for outdoor dining and now it is permanently part of their restaurant/lounge year-round (it's covered and insulated). Now everyone parks across the street at Home Depot (NOT walgreens) because street parking around there can be a struggle. I've never been towed and have parked at home depot every time (8+ times). I usually don't even bother looking for street parking I've never had to wait for a table. We always get seated right away because of how big the place is. There is plenty of space between tables. I've tried several things off their menu and I've absolutely loved everything. I personally find their food to be really good. I've had tacos, flautas, bowls, wings, churros, etc. I've liked everything I've tried. I always order a margarita and I've never not liked it. Sometimes it may be a bit watered down but I've had worse. One of my favorite parts - they have tajin! I love their large margaritas with the corona or different bottles but those are very pricey so I typically stick to the basic margarita with tajin on the rim. This is the perfect spot for latin music. The music is good even when they don't have a DJ. It's always a vibe and people tend to get up and dance no matter what day of the week it is. Everything sounds great so far right? Well, no. The service is HORRIBLE. The last time I went, for example, we waited literally 30minutes before being acknowledged by our waitress. I know - how stupid are we for waiting for that long? Granted it was cinco de mayo but come on... it was 6pm and not as busy as I've seen it before. We legit kept stopping people asking where our waitress was. We got asked about hookah before getting asked what we wanted to drink. The hookah...not good. It isn't smooth and it doesn't last long at all. The hookah girls smoke it for you when they arrive at the table to "test it out" idk. It's weird. You often see the waitresses and hookah girl at a table hanging out smoking hookah which adds to the shitty service. My waitress one time had not been around for a long time and then I spotted her chillin smoking hookah. After a certain time they require bottle service. What makes it more ridiculous is that their prices are forever changing. The later in the night the prices increase. For example, I had gone with a group of 12 one time. We ordered 3 bottles throughout the night and some people were ordering individual drinks. Our 3rd bottle was coming to an end so we were going to order a 4th. The waitress told us that the price went up and it wasn't just a $20 increase it was a significant amount - enough for us to say never mind because not everyone wanted to continue drinking. Then we got kicked out of our table for not wanting another bottle (it wasn't even busy in there). The waitress told us we could go to the patio if we didn't want to get a bottle. We switched to a table on the patio and for what? The waitress told us we still needed to buy a bottle there. So we left. The place is a hot mess and has so much potential it saddens me. I can't say I won't return because I can't help it at times but I honestly get angry every time because of the horrible service. SMH
