The breakfast sandwich was very classic - a nice soft bun, fluffy eggs, nice crispy bacon, and that pepper jam was the best touch of sweetness to cut through all the savory bits in there. Roasted potatoes were fine, nothing to write home about. Definitely needed some salt, but I did think the jalapeño mash on top was yum. But truly, if you take anything away from this review, it's that you need to come for the pancake. Fresh apples on top and on the inside, thick and fluffy with just the right amount of airiness (as you would expect from anything sourdough), plus the syrup was delicious. So easy to mop up with bites of pancake. It's obviously not a regular style of pancake, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't it. But if you like unique takes on a breakfast classic, you should definitely come try.

We got to Cozy in time to take in their Happy Hour, which features $10 martinis (classic and dirty martinis only). They also features a few Happy Hour food deals, including fried pickles (nom!). We ordered another appetizer off of the regular menu--the sausage meatballs--and I was absolutely blown away!! I need these in my life at least 1x a month! The meatballs are nestled on a bed of lightly pickled red peppers (not spicy), which, when combined with the meatballs creates an explosion of flavor in your mouth. In fact, my mouth is watering right now just typing this! Do yourself a favor and PLEASE order these. I'll be returning to Cozy Royale just for these balls! I ordered the she-crab sherry soup for my starter, the fish and chips, and the devil's food cake for dessert. I absolutely loved the soup, and they poured the sherry on table side so you could really taste it. The fish and chips were also fantastic, the fish was fried perfectly and really flaky, and I liked that it came with both vinegar and tarter sauce. The devil's food cake was good, but the other desserts were incredible. My friends and I ordered all of the dishes on the menu so we could share and honestly, nothing was bad, but the stand out dessert was definitely the strawberry sorbet. We couldn't stop eating it. Also, when paying the check, their POS system way overcalculated the tip (ex. 20% tip amount was actually 25%).
