My name is Davinash Ajodha and this is my personal experience with a great family oriented of 3 generations of experience. It was a Monday 9/28/26 morning with a lot of difficult situations happening, I planned a wedding in 30 days to get married to my wife. I ordered two suits from online both of my suits were too big for me and did not feel right for my wedding that was going to happen in three days 9/30/26. on that Monday morning there were still the hurricane going on and all shipments and orders will not arrive in time. I went to 18 different suit stores and called many of different stores from all the way to North Jersey to Central Jersey and even New York City. I spent hours looking for a suit that felt and looked like a good suit. Tony Conte Formalwear was one of the stores I went to early in the morning they showed me a suit that looked great felt amazing and in my head I knew I would come back to the very spot I stood. I still had other stores to check out as I did. The time was coming short and I had to make a decision. It is now the afternoon I called.Tony Conte Formalwear to let them know that I was on my way back to get that suit as soon as I arrive, they wasted no time started measuring me to make the proper adjustments for perfect fit. Due to my size it was a challenge to find a vest that would fit, as I was talking to Adam who took care of me very well. His dad was making phone calls to ensure I can get a vest for the next day once I seen him turned at me and give me the thumbs up. I knew everything will be better than good. This gave them less than 24 hours to prepare my suit and vest to ensure I will have it for the next day as I would not be able to get it the day of my wedding. Adam ensured me it will be ready for me and I put my full faith into him and his family. The next day, Adam contacted me, letting me know my suit is ready. I came as soon as I can, as soon as I got in, I tried on the suit and it felt like nothing before better than any suit I ever got like a suit of armor that made me ready for my big day. Adam and his family really made me feel good and ready to take on any situation that was going on with a lot of difficult situations of planning a wedding in 30 days I can tell and feel the love the dedication and Blessing in every stitch that they made to protect me in every way possible with their amazing suit that became my uplift and confidence of feeling like the world is so small and I'm ready for it all I can go on about how much of a blessing Tony Conte Formalwear really is but you won't feel that experience just from these words you need to live it and feel it for yourself so if its any type of formalwear you are looking for or dreaming to wear they will make it happen their words and work back up the final product and you will leave their always thinking of Tony Conte Formalwear. Two days before the wedding, a friend suggested an alternation that would transform it into the perfect gown but I knew it was too late. I called every tailor I knew but no one was willing to help. With 24 hours to go, Abby returned my call. She opened her shop and within an hour, had the alterations done. She could have charged me anything but only charged for the hour's work! While we were there, there was only one other person in the store who walked in to pick up his prom tuxedo. So I guess he was overwhelmed with "two" customers. Just because he was old an we all know how old people sometimes become grumpy, I didn't want to be disrespectful so I told him my son will come back with his girlfriend to make sure the tuxedo and accessories match her dresses, since they have 2 proms. The man's answer was to make sure he knows what he wants because he can't try everything on because everything he tried on had to be dry cleaned according to covid regulations.... O.....k. That is not my problem, tuxedo rentals are expensive. So I finally told him not to worry about him because my son was not going back. I told him, calmly, that he needed to have patience with his customers, we can't just go and get an outfit for a very special day without trying it on and making sure that it's what we want and that it fits nicely. He said he's been in the business for over 50 years, he got in my face trying to intimidate me and said I was rude. To be honest, I really felt like pushing him but Instead I took a step back and told him he was the rude one, and maybe that was the problem, he's been doing it for too long and it was time for him to retire. I walked out as he was yelling I don't know what. By then my blood pressure was trough the roof. Wow! what a bad experience. The good news is that right after I left that shit hole, I went to a store in Rutherford and got everything my son needs for his 2 proms. What a difference! Thank goodness for that. So, since I can't give 0 stars I'm giving it 1. I just read other reviews, I wish I would've done it before walking into that nightmare.
