I called in March 2021 during COViD and asked about stopping by to try dresses. I was told they usually only accept people by appointment but that she had a gap and could see me. Adrienne was very nice, helpful, patient and professional. She wasn't pushy and let me look around at my leisure for the dresses I wanted to try on. I visited Say I Do as a bridesmaid. The bride had picked out the dress she wanted us to wear and we were able to go and choose the style that best fit us and our style. The owner was really helpful in whittling down the choices and I was able to pick a style that would work well. The dresses came in and I made an appointment for a fitting. The seamstress was away that day (I was told that a bride needed a dress quickly so she was altering off-site), but the owner put me at ease as she took the measurements. As the seamstress wasn't there, I was told that I should make a second fitting appointment to make sure everything was just right. A week later when I returned for the fitting is when everything went off the rails. My alterations were $90 but the dress didn't fit properly -- the back was too tight, the straps were too loose and crooked, and the hook was broken. When I explained each of these things to the seamstress, she was rude and dismissive. The back too tight? She told me to stand up straighter. The straps were crooked? I was told no one's body is symmetrical and I had to deal with it. To order a dress two sizes too big and end up with one too small is unacceptable. To pay $90 for terrible alterations is a sin. I took the dress to another seamstress who did the best she could. My advice to those in a similar situation is to take the dress elsewhere to be altered!! read more

This really made a difference as I was a bride that was totally overwhelmed by the idea of finding "the perfect dress" but they made the process seem easy. I want to say that Adrienne was absolutely wonderful. I took my girls there to look at bridesmaids dresses, traveling about an hour to her shop. She let us do our thing but was quickly available if we had any questions. We knew what dresses we wanted to see so that helped a lot. I LOVED that she didn't hover. I couldn't be happier with experience. I first went during a sample sale and didn't see anything I liked. The owner was willing to work with me knowing my budget, but I was a very simple bride with simple tastes. They told me to look at some of the floor length bridesmaid's gowns and told me they could be ordered in white if they better suited my taste. I ended finding a classic looking lace dress...with a great price tag. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and made me feel at ease without being pushy or phony. Firstly I have to say that Judy was amazing. I arrived to this shop and was immediately approached, asked when the big day was and shown where we might begin to find dresses to pull. I loved how from the moment we walked in we felt welcome, I received honest feedback & was catered to patiently as I tried many dresses on. Being my first time trying dresses on and only my second appointment this place out did it self in comparison to my first appointment at Park Avenue. Judy was attentive listening to the exact style I wanted to try on, light weight, flowy, possibly lacey dresses for an intended destination beach wedding. Every dress I tried on was a definite possibility as a reasonable price. I believe they said no dress went over $2,200. I showed pictures for reference on styles I loved viewing online and was shown exactly what this location had to offer. Judy patiently let us speak over dresses without any rush or pressure to buy or jump into the next and this really felt great getting to take each dress in, as so many where beautiful and definitely possibilities. Judy also took her time checking other color options for dresses I felt amazing in, adding small details in like a belt and finding veils after listening to all of my feedback. I could not have asked for anyone better for these try ons we raved about her all the way home ! Great service and beautiful Mother of the Bride gowns! Adrienne, the owner, may only carry 3 manufacturers, but the gowns she has in the store are tasteful, high quality and well priced. I found no less than a dozen that I liked and wanted to try on. She listened to what I was saying about the style I was looking for, and brought out the perfect gown for me. It was the first positive experience I had in searching in weeks of searching. Apparently many bridal shops and department stores don't even stock a samples over size 10 or 12, or charge extra for larger sizes. Adrienne had 16's through 20's to try on. BRIDES - THIS IS WORTH READING: First off let me say Adrienne is an absolute doll - a wonderful woman who has passion for what she does. I so wish it ended at that, however I had a nightmare experience here and originally planned to not share, but over a year later in retrospect I really feel all bride's deserve the very best and should NEVER be made to feel the way I did. This is not a rant - it is an honest account of my experience so that it does not happen to anyone else. I found my dream dress at Say I Do (over an hour from home for me) - it was a Sophia Tolli. I am not chesty at all (narrow back & small cup) and wanted to size down but my hip measurement was cutting it close so I did not - Adrienne and her team assured me their seamstress was amazing and would alter it perfectly. I felt great about my choice, and was excited to work with Say I Do since Adrienne was so lovely. Fast forward - THE SEAMSTRESS WAS AN ABSOLUTE HORROR. From the moment I met her I had bad vibes. Rude, dismissive and super impatient are some tame descriptors. I figured Adrienne wouldn't keep her if she wasn't amazing at her job... so I dealt with it. (However, no one should be "allowed" to be that rude.) After 2 fittings the top of the dress didn't feel secure - as a small chested chick, I wanted to feel the dress fit me and flattered me - not like I was a little girl wearing a grown up dress. During my last fitting I asked that the top be tighter to which I received attitude, but she agreed to take it in once more. (Wanting my dress to fit was a very fair request - esp. with the amount of money spent!) I was asked to pay for the alterations that day since the seamstress would not be there on my pickup day. I paid her cash - she noted it in her book, and I was done with her. Or so I thought. On the day I came in to pick up MY WEDDING GOWN with my mom I was ECSTATIC! The seamstress was there (she got called in or something.) I tried my dress on and the top still could have been more secure - which I commented on but we were close to the wedding so I decided I'd "figure it out" with undergarments. (It looked good overall but did result in some photos where my dress is gappy up top.) This is where it gets hairy. The seamstress asked me: "ARE YOU GOING TO PAY ME?" Obviously my jaw dropped and I told her, "I paid you in full last time because you weren't supposed to be here today - check your book you noted it." She told Adrienne I did not pay, and owed for alterations. I've never felt so disgusting in my life. Almost an hour of back and forth and this woman looked her boss straight in the eye and would not admit I paid her. I felt terrible for Adrienne because who do you trust? Your employee or some girl you barely know? Adrienne eventually sided with me when I produced an ATM receipt from the date of the last fitting, for the exact amount I had owed, from the bank in their area (again - I do not live nearby.) I bought my dress, headpiece and veil from Say I Do - and although I wasn't 100% happy with the work I didn't even try to get a discount on the very pricey alterations. The audacity of this woman blew my mind - it was beyond anything I've ever encountered. I was in tears - I do my best to be a good, honest person so questioning my character is the lowest blow to me. And all this on a day that should have been a joyful memory for my mother and I. Karma will take care of that woman so her name is left out, but brides deserve to know. They were attentive, professional, down to earth, helpful, honest, accommodating, and just all around kind-hearted women who obviously love what they do. Came here with no appointment just to look. As soon as we walked in, it was totally a judgement free zone. The owner and the assistant, I believe her name is Amanda, were fantastic. This is my first time gown shopping so I did not buy a dress during this instance, but I was so happy I came here. Truly lovely people, work with your budget, look to get your input. From the second I walked in Angela made sure I felt comfortable. She steered me away from dresses that wouldn't compliment my body. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and it turns out t was none of the dresses that my family and I picked. Angela went on a whim and pulled a dress I thought would be terrible for me. The second I put it on I knew it was THE ONE. I even said yes to the dress and shocked Angela and the staff there. They helped my family and I celebrate with bells and sirens, LITERALLY. I even ended up getting a veil when I thought I was dead set against it but it completed the look I was going for. I can not wait for my dress to come in and alterations to begin. Say I Do is the best bridal shop I have ever been to, and I have been to many. I started by going to Park Avenue Bridal, as the Mother of the Bride I had made an appointment far in advance. When I got there, I sat on the "waiting bench" for an hour and finally left. It was crazy there, I received no attention at all. I called my daughter and the bridesmaids and told them forget Park Avenue. I got in my car and drove immediately to Say I Do which is where my daughter bought her wedding gown. Her dress was absolutely gorgeous, and the service is wonderful. I also purchased my dress from them and everything from try on to alterations was professional and attentive. I love this place and will be coming back for future purchases. I have a lot of weddings coming up and have already instructed the brides to go here first. The owner is lovely BUT there are a lot of limitations at this store, if you are looking for a wedding dress. 1) They only sell 3 designers. 2) They mostly have mermaids and ballgowns 3) The staff member that I worked with was not very knowledgeable. Allow me to expand upon #3. I came in with 3 print outs and several pictures of what SHAPE I was interested in. My sales person glanced at them for about 2 seconds, then invited me to rifle through the entire rack of dresses myself, pointing out ballgowns and mermaid dresses, even jersey knits (when I asked for lace/satin trumpet). After selecting MY OWN dresses, we settled into the dressing room where she did not help me in or out of the dresses, barely touched me, did not use the clips. Just kinda stood there like HM. Of course, most dress shops carry small sample size, which I expected. Some worked and some didn't. It was the salesperson's reaction and lack of help that really turned me off. I was literally wearing a size 12 Kors coat so I cannot imagine that I am the first person to not fit into a sample size 6 at that salon. Beyond the size issue, she was not knowledgeable about what trumpet even meant, nor did she know her stock, which I think is funny, considering they only carry less than 50 gowns. It was obvious to me that they knew they could not accommodate someone who wasn't sample size but they were "going through the motions" knowing they wouldn't get a sale. I called them out eventually - owner made a big "to do" about addressing my special needs and brought out a single size 16 in the whole shop - a blue prom dress. Owner also spoke to me like I was a fucking idiot, explaining how expensive sample are, etc. I hope you continue to stock and service up to a size 6. You will be out of business quickly. read more

Great staff and makes it feel like a family. I am planning on buying my wedding dress here, I am just sleeping on it for a few more nights. My mother and soon-to-be mother in law will also be buying their dresses here. I even want my bridesmaids to find there dresses at Say I Do. The staff is so wonderful and the owner is a sweetheart and very up front. I worked with the sales girl Daisy and she was a breath of fresh air after so many failed/horrible appointments elsewhere. She was so sweet from the moment we met and answered any and all questions we had, which were a lot! This is literally the best wedding shop ever! The owner and staff were so helpful and judgement free. I was able to purchase my dream dress here for 500+ dollars cheaper then what I was being quoted down the street!!! The other place I found this dress tried upcharging me $200 for a "manufacturing size charge" for the size I needed. Say I Do called the manufacturer and confirmed there was no extra fee for the size I needed. They also included tulle drop sleeves into their alteration price, the other place was going to charge me $300!!! They are so upfront and honest with you about their business! I took my mother and 3 year old daughter here to get a feel for what my mother would like to see me in, and after looking one other time at David's Bridal, my expectations were superseded. First off Ms. Gina was heaven sent. She takes such pride in her sister's store, and in YOU as the bride. She looked at my pictures and listened to what I decided I liked, and captured just that for me. I assume all brides are very particular like myself, so she had to of given me close to 12 dresses to try on,(many of which I liked, 2 of which I loved.) My super sleepy 3 year old wanted to try on "Her Dress" soooo bad, and Ms. Gina made her dreams also come true with the same stellar treatment within the dressing room that I received. Today, a little under a month before my wedding, sadly I realized that I had surpassed my budget and had to return it. I'm so glad that my daughter chose to shop for her wedding gown at Say I Do. From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed by an entourage of staff members waiting to assist us. Unlike a previous experience at another bridal salon, my daughter had an unlimited amount of time to actually look, touch and try on the numerous wedding gowns the salon offers. They listened carefully to to what my daughter thought she wanted, and gave her ample time to try those dresses on. Then the sales associate pulled a dress she thought would really compliment my daughter's figure. My daughter came out of the dressing room beaming. It was the perfect dress! Adrienne and her seamstress made the alteration process as stress-free as possible, carefully heeding my daughter's concerns and offering positive input and suggestions. The end result was a truly exquisite gown and veil and a very happy bride-to-be! Dresses for the flower girls were also purchased at this salon. Shopping with a 3 year old in tow can be very trying at best. Adrienne made sure our little flower had something special to keep her entertained. The dresses we chose arrived at the salon within a week, and when one ended up not fitting, it was a seamless process to return and get the next size up. I went to this shop after reading about it on The Knot. I was looking for a mother of the bride dress - not sleeveless or strapless to "hide" my upper arms!! I was offered help immediately and they had a huge selection. I ended up finding a gorgeous dress (I had already been to at least 10 stores) and came back three times to show it to my daughter and friends just to make sure! The owner and her staff were so helpful, friendly and truthful about styles and fits. The dress was ordered and came in with plenty of time to spare. I lost about 15 lbs between ordering and first fitting and her seamstress did phenomenal work in taking the dress in! I've never felt so comfortable or felt so eloquent in my life! Every time I entered the shop, I was greeted warmly and by name. This is exactly the type of customer service you want whether it's for a very special occasion or a casual outing. I had a pretty bad experience with this wedding shop. I walked in without an appointment because I wanted to ask questions about a particular dress that was in the window. The store is small and they only carry 3 designers. There were 2 other people in the shop while I was there, but I was willing to wait because I only had a quick question about a particular dress. The owner of the shop came over, didn't give me a chance to ask my question, and told me that she didn't carry "my size" dresses. (I am a size 14 in jeans!) She told me that she wasn't going to be able to help me and that she wasn't "being mean - just honest". I was devastated. First, I wasn't looking to try anything on. I just wanted information on ONE dress! And to be told that I wasn't going to be able to look at anything in her store because of my size was embarrassing and hurtful. She actually went as far a to tell me that there was a big woman's shop located down near Englishtown and that's where I should look because I wouldn't be able to find anything in a "regular" bridal shop. My mom and I were appalled! There were boxes on the floor of her store and she said she might have something that fit someone "my size" but she didn't have time to help me. Oh, and she never let me get my question in about the dress I was interested in. She just kind of waved me out the door and took a phone call. She didn't even ask me to make a future appointment. Do not go to this shop. They are not looking to help anyone whom they don't deem to be a perfect bride who is interested in a tight, strapless dress. And don't go there if you want any kind of variety in stock or a staff with any kind of compassion or kindness. Luckily for me, my fiancé is amazing. He made the day better by giving me sunflowers and a note that said, "I'm sorry that woman was such a b----." purchased bridesmaid dress there - the buying was ok but the alterations process was truly terrible. The seamstress took my dress in WAY too much and when I told her I wasn't happy with it, she tried to convince me that it was actually fine. She eventually agreed to let the dress out a bit but I'm stuck with loose strings everywhere, a very ill fitting dress, and a broken clasp. I didn't want to waste my time arguing with her a second time since it's not my wedding and no one will be looking st me, but for $90 dollars, I expected things to be done right. She was running WAY behind both times I was there and seeing her jump from person to person, as people stood around in wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses, without really spending time with anyone, would make me so panicked if I were a bride! Their dresses are well priced and the women who work there seem lovely, but take your dress elsewhere to be altered! read more

I wouldn't recommend going to this place unless you're already in the area for something else and feel like trying on a few dresses. The store itself is kind of dingy and old. I made an appointment but when I got there, there weren't enough of the large fitting rooms available that they use for bridal try-ons. Instead, my consultant put me in one of the small bridesmaids fitting rooms which barely fit me, let alone the wedding dresses I was trying on. The consultant also didn't know a lot about the designers or sizing and told me she thought I needed a size that seemed completely wrong even taking into account the difference in bridal versus street sizing. But worst of all was that my consultant would just leave me in the fitting room by myself to try on the dresses. I have no idea where she disappeared to, but it wasn't to find me other dresses- because I only ended up trying on a handful there.
