Now we loooooove Vietnamese food. Everything here was fresh and plentiful but it didn't leave any of really wanting to come back. The food was good but it's like it was missing that something extra to make it delicious. Maybe it's what we ordered and it's more of a pho speciality place? Anyhow, healthy fresh and gets the job done for fueling a hockey player.

Cochrane has changed so much since I was here last. Now they have 3 Pho restaurants so I must try the other two. Ext time I am in Cochrane. Overall, very good.

We were able to make a reservation for 9 but I noticed how busy it got during dinner rush because they are a small restaurant and have limited seating. That being said, I noticed a lot of people also ordered take out which is an option! Staff was friendly, restaurant was small but cute. As for the food, the apps were all really good. The papaya salad, fried tofu, and chicken wings were all a hit at our table, can't go wrong with any of them. I must say, the entree portions are LARGE so unless you eat a lot or intentionally want leftovers,I'd share. My pad Thai was enough for 2 meals but I was happy about it because the pad Thai was realllly good! The perfect amount of sauce and great flavor. I'd get it again. I also got the Thai tea which was good! The rest of my family got the Penang curry, pinapple fried rice, Thai fried rice, tom Kha soup, and lemongrass chicken. No one had any complaints so overall, a great place for Thai food.

The runner-up was the charred green vegetables. Seriously, that sauce is CRACK! We could have eaten it by the spoonful! We also tried a variety of dumplings. Of course, we had to try one of every mocktail! They were all refreshing and delicious, but the mango was the clear standout for us. All in all, a fantastic meal with so many memorable dishes. We'd absolutely come back, especially for those pork belly burnt ends and charred greens! Service was friendly and fast. Inside outside seating available.

Our group was located in an annex room right of the main entrance and was the perfect size to fit all of us. We had 2 primary servers who did an excellent job of making sure we had full glasses and full plates. We did family-style sharing of some of their starters and main dishes. The Bread and Butter was really delicious and it looks like their butter flavor is on rotation daily. The duck wings had a peach glaze and nuoc cham and cilantro- great combination. The chicken vegetable dumplings had great skin and texture. The peppercorn salad was adorned with pickled cabbage, capers, maple coconut, crunchy chickpeas and more - it was amazing. We also tried the Thai basil risotto and it was good but I'd go with the peppercorn salad over this if you're sticking vegetarian. The final dish was Alberta AAA Beef Brisket accompanied by gochujang mashed potatoes and broccolini. The brisket was incredible and just melted on the tongue. And the beer/spirits here were impressive as well. BLAKE is a must-try destination while in Canmore!

I'd order that and the tofu again, which was also unique and delicious. The pork sisig was good but on the saltier side. The first few bites were good but I may consider sharing that next time or just getting something else.
