The veggies were carrots & green beans. The veggies were just ok but still hot nonetheless. Where the star was lost was the Fettuccine Alfredo. It was dried out & virtually tasteless with a small portion. This was disappointing. The dessert was the cheesecake with a pressed graham cracker crust ($13.00). This was a whipped cheesecake/strawberries was good but not as good as an actual baked cheesecake.

One time I walked into the store 5 minutes before it opened with my son. door was unlocked. I was shooed from the restaurant and told they wouldn't be ready for 20 plus mins. Far past open, I was surprised they wouldn't take my order 5 minutes early or be more welcoming. I was miffed by this incident. i didn't go back for some time until today, it was well past open, close to lunch. I tried to order a dish and was told an ingredient wasn't available and was offered a substitute. I tried to order another bowl and was told another ingredient I wanted was unavailable. I left the store. I will not be back. I hope they look to improve their customer service and professionalism.

I think my plate had 1.5 cups of rice alone, the kebabs were close to a foot each. This was my husband's 1st time eating Persian food and he quite enjoyed himself. I enjoyed it too. No biggie - after inquiring, the gal behind the bar told us to take a menu and have a seat. Our party of three found a cute table, helped ourselves to some water and perused the menu. We waited a little uncomfortably long to be approached then found out it was the waitresses first day on the job and there was nobody there to assist her. She was waiting tables and making drinks from the extensive list of smoothies and coffees. About 20 minutes later, the manager or owner came rolling into the restaurant. We ordered the Kale Caesar and few different Avocado Toasts. My friends Caesar salad was meant to have tempeh on it but came out as basically greens with lemon juice squeezed on top for $17. The toasts were fine but nothing better than you could make at home. The salad was so disappointing that my friend actually kindly approached the owner/manager to let her know of the let down and asked about the tempeh. She was explained that they could no longer get tempeh from their supplier. Seemed like a pretty easy fix to reprint the paper menu. I think there is a market for these little plant based eateries and I want to see them succeed but this one was severely underwhelming.

Staff were very friendly but not great with water refills. Not too busy at a Sunday at 12pm (50% full). Friend loved his Reuben but felt the soup was mostly broth. Another friend got the kettle chips and they literally looked like plain Ripple wavy potato chips. My salad was amazing, vinaigrette wasn't too sour which was perfect. Needed chicken for sure. Salad greens were fresh, but the beets seemed lackluster. Overall a wonderful place for a coffee date, couples date, Sunday brunch with your mom, or just to see the trinkets and have a light lunch.

The soup was wonderful and thick. I can assure you that this soup didn't come from a can. It was cabbage soup with a few perogies thrown in for good measure. The sandwich was partially my own creation because you choose all the ingredients of it from the bread type to the condiments (I had horse radish, mustard and sauerkraut). There's password protected WiFi to help catch up on the latest stuff on your phone. Inside is tastefully decorated with murals and other things to keep you busy. The washrooms are downstairs so that might be an issue for anyone who is mobility challenged. This is a place where I definitely will return to if I pass through Sundre again.
