Average waitstaff, perfect food (and I don't say that often), good music, lost a star for not having blended drinks.

The only server that can do her job well is the one that just recently broke her arm. Last night some friends and I went out for wings. After about two hours we finally got some wings but they weren't even the right kind. After another hour I FINALLY got the right wings.(it was not even close to busy enough for this to happen) By then we were frustrated and impatient so we left. Three hours waiting for wings is ridiculous. The server knew we were all mad and was too scared to come and take our payment after the fact! All around a horrible experience. Why experience all the hassle when I can go anywhere else but here.

Paula & Larry really do treat you like family with their warm welcoming approach to the place. My favourite waitress who's been there awhile is Laura. This girl knows what she is doing, is very sweet, makes a great drink, keeps your drinks replenished and is pleasant to visit with. Bar food is freshly made and enjoyable also. Want to know the best kept secret in town....??? "Taco Tuesday" night..... will seriously thrill you both with the fresh flavour and the price! I enjoy my taco with a nice cold beer usually. Go visit....it is for sure the BEST DEAL on happy hour food in Rocky on Tuesdays! My fav though.... is the chicken wings at Rockies! Lots of flavours to choose from, freshly made, nice and crispy...not to mention HUGEST wings I've ever seen !! My favourite are Honey Hot and the Dill Pickle ...my friends rave about the salt & pepper flavour too. Best part is ssssshhh.....they offer two Wing Nights during the week! So if I happen to be busy on one evening I can make it for the next. Needless to say this place feels like Cheers, where everyone knows your name.... welcoming with great drinks and bar snacks!...oh and fabulous patio! Okay can you tell I like this place

I did call for a reservation in the morning for 8 plus a 2 year old. We were put in the private area which was okay. They charged us a 18 percent gratuity without telling me in advance. We always tip without being forced to. The food was okay but was charged for any extras including butter chives and bacon bits for the baked potato. There were no buns offered which were always were before. We were there for my birthday and probably won't be back.

Though even from his description, I thought it was going to be a seedy looking joint with great food! Instead, it ended up being a good-sized restaurant and sports bar. I sat on the bar side (it was pretty empty, but it was a weekday afternoon!). Sometimes, when places are empty, it's even harder to get service. Not here, the one server/bartender on for the afternoon was prompt with my drink order and a lunch menu. Lunch fare is usually pub food but with a Greek twist. Expect to find sandwiches, burgers and wrap.. but also some entrees like spanakopita. I opted for the grilled vegetable and chicken piadina (or piatina? something like that). It was a grilled pita filled with veggies, chicken, feta cheese and sauce. Soooo good! It hit the spot for a hungry wanderer like myself. There's nothing overly special about the drinks... the usual big name beers are on tap or in bottle. I'd up another star if they carried some Alberta beers. The bathrooms were also very clean and as new as the rest of Leto's! Clean bathrooms like this in a small town impress the pants off me... pardon the bathroom pun. There was a cash machine on premise, so I'm not sure if they accept debit or not.

As an example, my bro had the grilled chicken sandwich for $12.50, which comes with brie & caramelized onions. His comment was, "Earls could learn a thing or two!" Eggs were perfectly poached the old school way. My aunt loved her prime rib hash with beets, the dish looked beautiful as well. I had the goat cheese omelette with tomato relish, caramelized onions, shrimp and ham. Really good, served with just the right amount of little potato pan-fries and toast. Everyone loved their meals, service was prompt and friendly, and they let us hang out and chat until they had to close up at 3. Recommended for a good quality, reasonably priced brunch. Ambience is lacking, but otherwise it's a winner.

First off, props that they were able to allow us a reservation for 60 people. That's no small feat in Sylvan. Hubs and I came early after a stroll in the icy cold and decided to warm up with a bowl of the chef's housemate chowder soup - and it was delicious! A perfect warm up from the cold. Hubs had a local Snake Lake beer and I had water. For mains we ordered the Inferno Burger (which was so wet that it was fall apart and not something I could really eat) and Rocket Salad with Chicken. I didn't try the burger as mentioned above and Hubs did eat it but said that he would not recommend it. He said it was hard to put his finger on but it definitely did not match it's name and was quite wet with a lot of some sort of burger sauce. The Rocket Salad with Chicken was exactly as described and a nice break from the usual pub fare. Our kiddo had wings and onion rings - they were gobbled up quickly. Overall, I'm giving a 4 star = Good and I would return but not enthusiastically. I think I'd prefer this place as a bar (which it is) but later in the evening when kids aren't allowed for a drink and a round of pool. The food was okay but pricey (as most stuff in Sylvan is). I bet this place is hopping in the summer as it has prime real estate right on the main drag against the lake.
