I think I found my new favorite vegan pizza spot! I love the variety of traditional and Indian-inspired options. They have 10 vegan pizzas on the menu, so there are lots to choose from. Plus, you can pick your size from personal to jumbo, which is awesome because some places only offer large for vegans, and I just can't finish that much pizza. I wanted to try both a traditional and an Indian-style pizza, so luckily I had someone to share with today. I ordered a small Vegan Combo and a small Vegan Aloo Gobi on their site for pickup. I also picked up some potato wedges and a personal-sized Confused Desi (pictured but not reviewed since it was not for me). The person at the front was super friendly and engaging, I love service with a smile! My order was piping hot and ready to go; you could see the steam coming out of the box. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, and you can tell everything is fresh. I didn't add vegan cheese because I'm usually not a fan of any vegan cheeses, especially when melted. However, I don't think either pizza needed it; they were delicious! The sausage crumble on the Combo was tasty, but honestly, I think the bell peppers are my favorite part; they bring the perfect flavor and texture to the pizza. The Aloo Gobi was also really good. Really good Indian pizza spot. There's a few in the area and they all do the Indian flavors well. There's a lunch special here with a personal pizza and a soda so I appreciated the worker for letting me know while I was ordering. Place has a few tables to eat but it definitely seems like a good amount of people do takeout. The spicy butter chicken had a nice kick to it and there was a good amount of chicken on it. I first came across this place when I saw that they were participating in Cupertino's restaurant week. I wanted Indian pizza and the discount was quite generous so I decided to visit. I wouldn't say that I'm a diehard fan of Indian pizza but every once in a while, I do get a craving and am glad that there are a lot of options in the area these days to satisfy said craving. That being said, simply taking a basic pizza and slapping on Indian ingredients does NOT automatically make it good quality (I'm looking at you Curry Pizza House). However, I'm happy to say that the pizza here is actually quite tasty (no pun intended). We got the spicy veggie, the saag paneer, the artichoke pesto, and the pav bhaji on cauliflower crust. Both the pizza dough and the ingredients were of great quality. I will say that I do wish that the saag paneer pizza was more "Indian" if that makes any sense... it was essentially a regular pizza with some classic toppings and then some pieces of paneer topped on it almost as an afterthought. If you at the picture of the same pizza on the internet, there was a lot more saag topped on the pizza in a way that made it look more Indian. In contrast, the pav bhaji pizza looked and tasted like a more authentic desi pizza. The cauliflower crust was also delicious. Overall, this place is great to get your fix for American style Indian and even regular pizza. It is VERY unusual for a place serving classic American style to receive a perfect rating as it's not my preference so take it from me that a four star rating for this places means that it's pretty good. read more

The "Pesto Chicken" is great, but I tried the "Garlic Chicken" last week OMG, sinfully scrumptious. As any restaurant mishaps happens; got a burned crust ones, another time the pizza wasn't hot in temperature, and one time the toppings was lacking ( this is over a couple of years, so it was simply mistakes, new employee and, stuff happens). "Blaine", the store manager is so positive and welcoming for customer experiences, it is a joy to talk to him, and he always fixes their mistakes with a smile, I am impressed, thank you Blaine. The chicken was marinated perfectly and had so much flavor with the just the right amount of spice, so it does not need any extra spice. The chicken was also very tender and juicy. The meat was overall perfect! The other toppings like the pineapple, jalapeños, and the peppers were also amazing, cooked to perfection! The paneer pizza was also amazing with soft flavorful tandoori paneer. I've noticed more Indian pizza places popping up, so I finally dragged my friend to check out this place. I'm so glad we went! Parking was spacious for a weekend and there were a few customers inside. Bathrooms were available past the big menus and in the corridor. They have extensive vegan and vegetarian menus that are posted in big fonts on the wall. This saved me the trouble of having to squint, hah. After a long while of choosing between a number of pizzas (curse my choice paralysis!), I decided on the vegetarian shahi paneer and my friend chose the spicy butter chicken. We also got the achari cauliflower bites. I was skeptical about the tofu on my pizza at first, but they marinated it well in the sauce so it wasn't bland. The flavor was amazing that I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. When I got home all I could think about was finishing this pizza. What was less palatable were the cauliflower bites. The sauce they used to marinate the cauliflower was so spicy that I couldn't appreciate it. The texture was also not enjoyable for me because it was soggy. They most likely simmered the cauliflower in the sauce. Despite the disappointing experience with the cauliflower, we were impressed by our pizzas and loved how unique they were from traditional American flavors. Indian-American fusion pizzas are truly a game changer in the pizza world. I'll for sure be back to try more flavors. read more

I love Indian pizza and this place has the flavor combinations on point! And plus points for a wide variety of options along with the ability to customize. So I think the "build your own pizza" where you see a variety of toppings on display to choose from is temporarily closed due to COVID, but will be opening in about 2 weeks (close to end of June 2021). In the meantime, the other options were pretty good too - it was hard to pick, but we ultimately got the half garlic paneer and half aloo chat - both were super delicious! Aloo chat was sweet, tangy, light on spice - perfectly balanced flavors and textures on both options. Paneer was fresh and delicious too. We also got a side order of garlic knots - so so good - freshly baked, amazing texture and flavor...goes well with the two dipping sauces that came along with it. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who happened to be there along with his family - he was super friendly, welcoming, courteous and so easy to talk to. OH, BTW, for all you folks on a low carb diet - they also have a cauliflower crust option (I think) - I saw it on the "build your own" menu options, but please double check! Either ways, i can't wait for them to be open back to normal - so I can come back and try the "build your own" pizza with Indian flavors. Parking was very easy to find. There was not many people here. Noise was really quiet. There was no music of any kind. Just a fountain drink machine brrringgg and a tv playing a movie. There was plenty of seating indoors. I ordered the Tandoori chicken pizza (5/5): ouch so steamy and hot . The pizza was really fresh and the crust was soft and fluffy much resembling a naan. Chicken packed quite a punch for me (low spice tolerance) in terms of spice level but my friend said it was mild. Garlic knots (3.5/5): fluffy and soft but the garlic flavor was quite subtle. To be honest it was just a pretty solid bread with a subtle garlic flavor. Achari wings (5/5): again really hot for me but my friend said it was mild and compared to other hot wings the spice level was a little less hot. The texture was tender and came off the bone cleanly. Google/apple pay is accepted here. Our order took about 10 minutes which is a good wait time for a pizza this fire. Overall Tasty Pizza sure is a tasty pizza place and would come back here.
