Food came out scattered and one half of the meal came out and we were told just a minute. 20+ minutes later we came them back the first half uneaten because we were tired of waiting. They seem to be. This is my second time here. The first time I ordered the regular pho with tendon, flank, and brisket (no tripe for me). It was a beautiful broth and left me quite satiated. This is the best Pho place I have found in Pinellas!, parking is in abundance you just may have to walk a tiny bit and service is amazing and fast. I had the Tasty Pho- Delicate rice noodles topped with rare Beef, beef balls, brisket,tendon,tripe and flank! It is truly an eye opening experience you will not regret! this place is in a sketchy plaza next to a plasma place and a divey mexican place but this place is open late, nicely decorated and the food is amazing and inexpensive. I've only previously gotten takeout here but finally ate here with the hubs. Their menu is really extensive. Despite the name, they also have verimicelli, broken rice, and boba tea and many many others things. They have everything actually! Hubs originally wanted to go to a steak house but he was not disappointed here. I got out of my comfort zone and ordered the beef noodle soup with the thick noodles while hubs had the short ribs. Both entrees were soooooo amazing. The only drawback is the service while nice and attentive was extremely slow but everything else made up for that. Highly recommend. read more

I vowed I could not have Pho at any other place in pinellas after 2 unfortunate experiences but I decided to try because my boyfriend went a couple times for lunch and gave it a seal of approval. For drinks my boyfriend just got the usual Kirin ichiban and I ordered a limeade. It's a ritual of mine to always get a limeade whenever I get pho. It came in a mason jar and was not good at all. I thought it was made fresh with fresh squeezed limes but it looked and tasted like a packaged lime juice squeeze bottle was used to make it. It had that artificially sour lime taste rather than the refreshing tartness of fresh lime juice . It's kind of like when you get a margarita and you can tell when a restaurant used straight prepackaged bottled sour mix rather than using freshly squeezed lime juice and sugar. We ordered the spring rolls and they were pretty good. Medium sized and you could taste the fresh herbs and the burst of cilantro was so right. I can say my favorite of all the spring rolls I've tried. The peanut sauce was amazing. I couldn't get enough of it and cleaned every last drop from the container. My boyfriend got the rare beef Pho and I did the create your own where I opted for rare beef, brisket and flank. The broth was flavorful, deep brown colored (sign it's bursting with flavors), and not very oily. At my usual pho spot I order the same combination of beef and I usually can't differentiate between the different cuts of beef. Here it was very apparent in the taste of the meat. I could tell whenever I had a bite of brisket. Service was great, as our server constantly checked up on us and refilled our waters. We were headed towards MD oriental market and wanted to grab food nearby and we just went here for convenience. It turned out to be one of the best pho restaurants I've had in the Tampa/St Pete area. I realized that they kept the restaurant so cold so you're not sweating when eating pho. We had traditional spring rolls as appetizers and they were the best I've tried. The noodles, vegetables, and peanut sauce were all made just right to have that perfect balance of taste. Definitely recommend that appetizer if you come here. For my main entree I got the combo pho which had all beef flank and meatballs. The broth was just perfect and was very authentic. The beef was also cooked perfectly where it was soft and not too chewy. From the outside, you don't have high hopes for this restaurant, but it changes once you step inside. My stepdad gave it his all around approval and even Yelped it! (he's a really good cook, so has high standards for all things food). The staff consisted of a group of kids, who were very nice and professional. Their uniform should change to red and they can literally be walking sriracha bottles. Anywho...Tasty Pho's prep time is remarkable, maybe less than 10 minutes and your order is out. My first round here didn't fare well, because I didn't know how to eat everything on my dish, except the beef and rice. The 2nd time round fared better because I ordered this yellow noodle with vegetables. It tasted just right and didn't need any sauces or alterations. That's another thing he noted, this restaurant gets the flavoring "just right." On a final note, I just can't seem to break the bank here, I ordered dessert, main dishes and soda and still under $40. Tasty Pho lives up to their nameake. The pho is delicious, flavorful and comes out piping hot (the best!). It's also gotten the approval of my super critical parents last time I took them here (mom's homemade pho is always the best right?). Each time we go, we always order the summer rolls (tofu) for appetizer and a che (bean dessert) to-go. Super yummy and very filling. The place is also surprisingly clean, there's A/C (score!) along with adequately clean bathrooms (double score). Service is so-so, and to be honest I don't really expect much on that front. As the black sheep of my lunch work group, I strayed from the herd and gave the lemongrass chicken with rice a try. I found it to be incredibly flavorful, as well as presented in a very appealing manner. While everyone else at the table was slurping away at what looked indeed like very tasty Pho, I was perfectly content enjoying every single bite of my lemongrass chicken. It was a raining Sunday and you know what that means! Pho time! I can't believe it has taken me so long to try them out. We pass it every other Sunday. Finally, we ventured in and were very happy to report that the food is good! The place is full of booths (I love booths) and very clean and well kept. Their menu is very detailed with pictures of the food so you know what you're going to get. We tried the fresh roll, the fried roll, the beef pho and a sandwich. The pho had a good broth to it that made you feel warm and fuzzy inside. The service was pretty quick and the waitstaff is very helpful and full of patience, especially when you decide to take an elderly person that wants and NEEDS everything right then and there. The young lady who waited our table was superb but the young gentleman seemed pretty unhappy with having to seat a mixed couple. I had the Tasty Pho and the brought out a pork meatball spring roll for people to try before it goes on the menu. The broth was very good, the noodles seemed like they dried a little too much and toke a while to soften up. Broth could have been hotter to help soften the noodles. Tasty Pho is not just a fancy name - I can vouch that tasty Pho is indeed served here! My boyfriend and I are here twice before writing this review. We chose this place both because of the reviews but mostly because they actually have vegetarian Pho options - which is hard to find. My first visit I ordered the vegetable (vegetarian) Pho. It was okay. The second trip I ordered the tofu (second vegetarian option!) and it was amazing! The broth seemed to have Much more flavor. The Pho had Generous portions of tofu too. It was served Steaming hot both times, which is great. My boyfriend ordered the traditional beef broth Pho with the skirt (?) beef and he enjoyed that one over the one he got last time (which we think we was the pork). Tasty Pho is located in the same shopping center as The Oriental MD (awesomest Asian market in Pinellas!). It heads above a lot of Asian restaurants in terms of decor. They have small tasteful chandeliers along the ceiling, new booths and many tables. Nothing fancy, just really nice inside. Casual, but you don't feel like you are at a dive. First let me say Tasty Pho had the best-looking interior and ambiance of any of the pho restaurants I dined in while visiting Florida. It was far nicer than I was expecting after driving up to its strip mall exterior. Also, of my 8 different Florida pho experiences, Tasty Pho had thee best service of any by a wide margin. It was the third stop on a tour of Tampa area Vietnamese restaurants in search of the perfect pho. I'm no pho expert, but I will say in the last year since discovering this dish I have grown an addiction that has me eating it at least once a week or more. Heck, I woke up around midnight one evening with serious cravings and drove to a 24-hour pho restaurant in Duluth, GA for a bowl. I seriously think I may need an intervention! LOL THE FOOD Meatball pho (4.25 stars) | $7.95 Although the broth is sweet, it is not overbearing like the broth @ Saigon Deli. Had I come here first, I might have thought it was too sweet, but Saigon Deli was off the charts and reset my expectations. I've actually begun to enjoy a slight sweetness to my pho broths and if this one were toned down just a notch more, it would've been perfect. Still, I enjoyed the pho very much and everything seemed to be of good quality. The size of the small bowl was very hearty! Mini-Shrimp Pancakes (1 star) | $7.95 No flavor... NONE!!! I ordered the Tasty Pho (minus the tripe and tendon) and my Husband ordered the Rare Beef Noodle. We both ordered the regular size and it was a good thing that we did because we were stuffed afterwards. I want to make a quick note about the service. It was amazing. We actually had three separate waiters check on us in the beginning to see if we were ready to order. I asked the young gentleman that ended up being our server for recommendations. He asked questions about what I like and made a great suggestion that I was already considering. When he learned I liked spicy food, he brought out extra jalapenos for me. He also kept checking back with us. Great service! The broth itself had a great flavor, but the chili oil that they make in house and serve along side it is amazing. We loved it so much that they brought out a second set of it. They also serve lime, sage, jalapenos and bean sprouts on the side. You can add Sriracha or Hoisin to taste. I prefer mine spicier with Sriracha, Jalapenos and the Chili oil. So, so good. I didn't love the meatballs in my Pho. I have a hard time with the rubbery texture of the Vietnamese style meatballs. However, the rest of the meat was very good. I thought there was an appropriate amount of meat and noodles. My Husband wished he had a little more meat. The flavors were spot on. I also ordered a Blueberry Boba tea smoothie which was delicious. I typically order Taro, but changed it up hoping my Husband would drink half. He didn't, but I was really happy with the flavor. I may have found Pho-Nirvana!! I came during a cloud burst from the gods, typical Florida late afternoon drencher. As I found my way to the table I actually got a chill from the air conditioner seeing that I was soaked. I was dinning alone tonight. My Bride having had a very late lunch. So I took the opportunity to try a new ( to me ) Vietnamese Restaurant,Tasty Pho. It's located on the NW corner of 49th Street and Park Blvd. in a strip mall. The service is like most Vietnamese restaurants, very good. I ordered my usual Pho with rare sliced beef, and their house special fried rice. When my Pho was served it was piping hot. I could actually see the rare beef cooking in the hot Pho goodness. As I was chilled, I started slurping down my steamy soup, ahhhh. So good, warmed me right up. The Pho here has the regular accoutrements, basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes. But they top off the Pho with sliced onions, chopped spring onions, and cilantro, for added flavor. The house rice was delicious with shrimp, beef, pork, and sweet sausage. The establishment itself is very clean and modern with several flat screen TV's, the bath rooms were immaculate. Their menus are very unique in as such that they explain where the foods originate, either from the North, Central, or Southern regions of Vietnam. They explain the dishes very clearly too. Unlike other Vietnamese restaurants, they had their condiments in porcelain jars printed descriptively. The servers are very cordial and informative. Tasty Pho is the 4th different Vietnamese Restaurant that I've tried. So far I'd say its the best one. read more

Inside the interior was new-looking and clean and a little bit smarter looking than your typical Vietnamese restaurant. The service was standard and attentive. Ordered the Bánh Khot Shrimp Pancake and I was immediately smitten and already looking forward to eating this again soon.
