The food was excellent! Service was attentive and helpful, ambiance welcoming and the live music an added bonus!

An apparently hidden treasure - live music on Saturday nights. Excellent wine selection - seriously: Long Shadows, Abeja, Col Solare, Spring Valley! Try the stuffed mushroom appetizer, rueben sandwich, fettuccini Alfredo, chocolate mousse. Kimmy, our server, was fun, sassy, and fabulous! Highly recommend. We had a fabulous time. read more

Went there tonight for dinner!! Very good my nephew had prime rib and my niece had the Hawaiian pizza and I had pasta with shrimp all of use loved our food and atmosphere!! We will be back soon!! read more

We met some family here for lunch yesterday. I was very disappointed. A family member has been here several times and said it was always good. Yesterday it was not. The service was very slow, my fries were cold. To top it off a grandson ordered a pepperoni pizza, the first one the cook read peppers not pepperoni. They made it again, the second one was burned. There only saving grace was the third one was right and they did not charge us for his pizza or his grandma lunch. Not sure I would go back here. read more

Love the food. Got the fondue and it was delicious. Was there for one night and the service was nice and the wine is good. Would definitely come back again and visit. read more

I really want to like this place, and I think they are doing great things for Wenatchee. Their service has been decent during past visits, but certainly not warm. They have a good selection of hyper-local winse, but we were feeling like something different, and came upon a bottle we'd had before from Spain. Los Rocas Grenache. It was not priced on the shelf, but I knew it typically retailed in the $10-$13 range and since everything else on the shelves looked like normal retail prices, I didn't expect otherwise. Checking out, I get ringed up for $28. Maybe an innocent mistake, and maybe I should have said something, but this was the gouging of (expectedly uninformed) wine consumer of the highest degree. I won't be returning soon to buy wine. read more

I've eaten here twice in the past week, while in town visiting relatives. Oh my goodness, Wenatchee totally needed a classy place like this. What a great place to stop in for a quiet glass of wine and a few nibbles. The indoor decor is elegant and intimate, with dark woods and spacious tables, and not-too-kitschy light-up glass grapes. There's an outdoor seating area - I love that! Wenatchee needs more outdoor fine dining establishments. The wine selection is well chosen and it was easy to find an affordable glass on the night we just wanted to chill, and yet we also could find a pricier wine for a Saturday night splurge. The waitresses have been extremely friendly and helpful - but also back off and let you finish your conversation with your tablemates. The food comes out a little slowly, but this restaurant is designed for you to linger and enjoy, not rush through a meal. The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is the limited menu. I'd like to see just a few more options in the food department. Still, we've enjoyed the fondue (with generous portions of fruit and crackers; the cheese pizza was delicious and not too greasy; the breadbasket had very moist tender fresh bread; my salad was incredibly delicious; and our dining companion seemed to enjoy his turkey sandwich. I was confused about what the cheese torta was (It's not a tart!) but amazed at the large portion you get for the small amount you pay for it. I wouldn't bring kids here, but this place would be wonderful for a girls night out, a date, or a cozy family night with adult family members. One of the things I enjoy most is they don't have live music, which would make this small place seem crowded, and the noise level would make conversation impossible. That's why I don't like going to McGlinn's when they have live music. Also, the music that's playing in the background is quiet enough you can hold a conversation over it. Please keep up the good work in this regard! Definitely I'll be eating here every time I come to Wenatchee! read more

My wife and I recently visited Wenatchee and found that Tastebuds was the only place not offering an hour wait to be seated. We had a great experience at Tastebuds. I had the french dip with gouda; it was tasty and paired well with the red suggested by the server. The server was very helpful and had a good breadth of wine knowledge. The atmosphere is very relaxing and laid back. I like the converted garage/patio cafe. read more

I have been here twice now and this is my favorite little wine bar. I am from the "westside" and I think this is the best one I have been too. The wine selection is fantastic and they are reasonably priced. The vibe and atmosphere is great. This weekend I was out on their patio for a bridal shower and it was just the cutest thing. I kind of felt bad for the other guests in the other part of the place because I am sure we were being quite loud. The little pizzas were really good too. I had the one with chicken and veggies and pesto. MMM MMMM good. Definitely a great place to meet up and have a coffee or wine. read more

I love this place and cant get enough. The food is perfect. Ive never known a place that can be as consistent as they are with steaks. EVERY TIME! The service is great. The cooks really know what they are doing. The music is always inviting and never too loud. The drinks are generous and the patio is a nice touch where it can be opened up or closed off. Perfect seating all year round. Thank you! read more

I love their appetizers + wine menu! $5 glasses of wine during happy hour. Excellent service. Can't wait to go back when they open the patio area for summer. read more

This is a great selection of tasty choices and delicious entrées from fish to hoof to fowl. Your taste buds will receive a variety of flavors. there are many choices including specials along with an array of regional beer taps and wine selections. My sirloin medallion was a little dry and fibery however consumed willingly. I was hungry. One of the top locations with fine cuisines in the area with enough atmosphere to create character and memories. read more

We have been here before and had great food but definitely not the case tonight with their nachos. It was literally a small plate of chips with cheese whiz on them. Actually cheese whiz would have tasted better. A few pieces of diced chicken and not enough to barely realize it had chicken on it. The guacamole was partially chopped up with a one large chunk of sliced avocado. Some diced tomatoes but definitely not what I would consider loaded Nachos. And definitely not what you would expect for $16.95. Taco Time has better nachos. I'd rank these more with Taco Bell. Only reason I gave it two stars was because our waitress was nice and attentive! Not sure we will ever eat her again! read more

Oh my! This was a great find, well, someone introduced me to Tastebuds... I was really happy with my wine choice and it seemed like a generous pour, thank you. The starter I selected was the smoked salmon plate and it was delightfully light, yet filling and flavorful. The salmon wasn't too dry or too salty. I enjoyed the atmosphere - not too loud, yay! Overall, an enjoyable evening! read more

This place was very nice and quite. The fondue was absolutely amazing and so tasty. The grapes on the fondue dish were kind of small and sour. Although the cheese was so good. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the grapes and they weren't even that bad. Good job Tastebuds! read more

Love love love this place! Great atmosphere, grGreat food and great wine selection! Tucked nondescriptly in what looks like a strip mall in Wenatchee Washington you'll want to check this little gem out don't judge a book by its cover! Great indoor seating as well as outdoor seating, plus we were entertained by awesome live music on an acoustic guitar for most of our evening last night. If you're in the Wenatchee area definitely must stop in here! Our server, Dorinda, was very knowledgeable pleasant friendly and efficient! She was great. Genuinely friendly! The whole crew seem to work together well and our evening was nothing but fun fun fun! The food was great and you get to choose the wine you want from a huge library wall of wines. read more

See all

I would give 5 stars on any other day, but this time I reserved an area and the guy helping me had no idea that I had reserved it, and told me... I could sit anywhere else... Furthermore, when I wanted to sit in the patio he said it's reserved at 6, the entire patio. Needless to say I was flustered due to giving them ample time to do what they just did to me! Anyway, the food is great, can't go wrong with wine and cheese and jazz. Love the atmosphere, but customer service needs a step up read more

this place is hit and miss. One time the dish you have is fantastic and the next time not something you would order again. It may vary by chef. But it would be nice if it was consistent. The meals come with a small salad which is nice, but they used to also include good bread with dipping oil. Now there is no bread included. Many of the dishes are pasta which seem like they should include at least one slice of bread. Most places with pasta include some bread. read more

Food was good as always. Ordered the Jannalicious pizza with Chicken. Wine was brought but forgot the water. When the pizza arrived it had no chicken. Unfortunately our waitress didn't return for 20 minutes so we were already a couple slices in and the wine was gone. When she did arrive we stated the chicken was missing and a quick sorry was said before she tried to scurry away. Had to call her back to request another glass of wine before she got to far. She never returned again until the check was received. Not another mention about the mess up on our order. We paid our check without ever seeing her again. read more

For two years I drove past Tastebuds because the sign outside read Coffee and Wine. I can get that at home. But.....WAIT!!! They serve steaks and seafood and salads and pasta and its YUMMY. And they have a full bar! I had the Peppered steak for 20$! That's about the top end of the price range there. The tiramisu was excellent. Everything about the dinner was great. The seating is ample but its a bit dark in there..several customers had their phones out to use as flashlights when reading the menu. We went on Wednesday which is 20% off on bottles of wine ( so we bought two L'ecoles). I will watch their Facebook page and see what specials or entertainment they are planning and I will definitely go there again.. and probably again...and again. read more

Best wine flight deal ever, hands down! Great apps and customer service as well. read more

Tastebuds - Wine Bars Near Me - Wenatchee, Washington

We had the absolute worst experience with them. Do not use them for catering. They were very difficult to correspond with when trying to plan. They gouged us as far as pricing, we met with other caterers and they quoted us far less, the only reason we used them was because they were the only caterers that were available the day of our event, and now I understand why. The day of the event I was shocked to the the level of quality of the food. First off, one of the dishes was not even close to what we ordered, and to top that off the rest of the food was terrible, very low quality. We had our own wait staff so basically they just dropped off the food, our staff did the rest, but they charged us a service fee, as well as drop off fee? How does that make sense? All in all we are very unhappy, bad food, bad customer service, over priced.... all around terrible. read more

I used to work right across the street from here years ago but had never checked it out until last night. I would say overall I had a pretty good experience, I even made it for happy hour which was great! ($3 off beer!) I would say the only thing was that it was a little stuffy, bit too hot inside for me. And the servers were super frantic, but I understand it was a little busy and they seemed short a person or two, so no biggy. I'd definitely stop by again for happy hour! read more

I have nothing negative to say about the food. But I was disapointed in the staff. The posted hours say they are open until 9pm. My friends and I were the only customers left last night at 8:30 when the staff came out and very noisily started stacking all the chairs on the tables. We were out of there by 8:31.. we took the hint. But I also work in the hospitality industry and hope i would never be so rude. read more

Casual But Classy - Great Trendy Food, good service

Possibly The Worst espresso I have ever had. Bitter, horrid tasting. Three sips, even one with sugar (which I never use), was all I could stand. Absolutely terrible. (Read about it, stopped because of the review. Really, really bad.) read more

Not what I expected when looking from the outside. Very nice and comfortable inside. Service was good and coffee was smooth. Not a wine drinker but huge selection of wine along with cocktails and beer. read more

Well, I still have not actually eaten or drank here, But he other night a friend and I went in It was about 8:40, so I assume they were closing soon, when we asked if they were open still, dude said they were closing soon and to come back another night, REALLY!!!!! WHAT!!!!! I could not believe it, not exactly the way to get people to come back, I was very disapointed, he should have said yes we are closing soon, but let me get you a glass of wine and try to get us to come back another time! I might add, I never get to go out so when I do and that happens it really turns me off..... read more

5 stars for the excellent service, great wine selection and mixed drinks (finally my greyhound and salty dog actually listed on a menu!). And drum roll....that blue burger dip sandwich!!! The best dip our table of 6 has ever tasted! Great blend of flavors, melt in your mouth, perfect crust on the bread. A heightened burger! If we lived in Wenatchee this would be a weekly date night for sure! read more

This is the go-to place for my friends and I when we want to unwind and have good conversation without going to a bar. The wine selection is very good. Admittedly, a few of the bottles are slightly overpriced compared to most retail establishments, but the atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food is worth the few extra bucks to help support a local business. The coffee is MUCH better here than most places in town and the regular changing quiches are always a tasty surprise. They also have live music on Saturdays (6:30-7:30pm and 8:30-9:30pm) and can be VERY busy during these hours, but if you are expecting to be dining with a larger group, they take reservations to ensure you wont be waiting around for a table. A great place to just hang out and have a casual drink and tasty meal. read more

Predictably delicious...from salads to sandwiches, I've always had great food. Also, Great service. They generously accommodate any substitution requests. Highly recommend. read more

This is definitely a must stop destination. Atmosphere is excellent a great place for conversation with friends and family. Area they could improve would be in the consistency of the coffee. If you purchase two of the same coffees they both should taste the same. read more

Great service, a very cool vibe and well laid out relaxing space. I had the burger and she had the salad, both where exellent.

Ohhhh the fondue! And the fondue isn't the only delicious food available for order, all of the food items I've tried here have been wonderful. There's a great wine selection, also a limited but appreciated beer and mixed drink menu. Tastebuds has a great ambiance and the service is almost always top notch (ask for Dorinda as your server if you want top notch service 100% of the time). I definitely recommend Tastebuds, for food and a drink! read more

Great pizza! Its the only thing I have had here. Great deal on Mondays! The waitresses are cool too. Order one of the pizzas with pesto.

Wonderful selection on wine by the bottle or glass. Lunch, Dinner or fondue - you can't find an item on the menu that isn't delicious.

Much more going on here than wine tasting. Small menu done right. Great dinners. Especially enjoy the wild caught salmon. Live music with local and regional talent. read more

Great wine list. Had the smoked salmon plate with a wine flight. The service was mediocre but friendly.
