What appears to be a "hole in the wall" is actually an excellent breakfast and lunch place! We stopped by on our way to Miami Convention Center which is within 5 mins walk. It doesn't look like much inside but the food was incredible and the service fast and attentive. I'd be back just to eat the salad again. Excellent cafe with reasonable prices.

Amazing cafe next to Miami Beach Hall where you can enjoy delicious coffee and fresh bites. Very healthy and accessible to all. Agnes and Carmen have been great assisting us during this election cycle. We shared the avocado club with chicken and it was the perfect afternoon bite thank you Chef Alex! Lots of natural light and beautiful greenery.

Definitely a hidden gem! Got an açaí bowl and PB smoothie - both delicious! We will be back for sure.

Went in early on a Sat morning, this is one of the few places you can find breakfast early! Team was super attentive and kind. Interesting take on breakfast, getting to 'build your own' plate / bowl / situation The hashbrowns were good, crunchy! The falafels were ok.. nice touch to put whipped cream on pancakes If you're looking for a cleaner, healthy brekkie, this is the spot.

If you're looking for a brunch spot near Miami City Center, this is the place to go. They serve soups, salads, wraps, bowls, sandwiches, and smoothies, with many options on their menu. For the entrees, you can choose your base--salad, wrap, bowl, or sandwich. Then, select a style for toppings and the protein. You also have the option to make it a meal. We picked a couple of bowls, the Greek and the Philly, and our choice of sandwich was the Farmhouse. The Greek bowl comes with spinach, cucumbers, black olives, sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, green peppers, hummus, and feta dressing. The Philly bowl includes mushrooms, fajita veggies, jalapeños, mayo, American cheese, Swiss cheese, and ranch dressing. We opted for cilantro brown rice as the base for our bowls. We loved the bowls, opting for the large size, which provided adequate quantity and value for money. The Farmhouse sandwich with chicken was ideal, rich in vegetables, with hummus adding a little twist. It would also be a great option as a salad. It's a small place with limited seating inside, but they also have some tables outside. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. Service was fast and great. We loved everything about this place!

The Classic Avocado Toast The Chimi Steak & Eggs Cafe Latte

Taste Cafe is a staple when we come to Miami. Both locations have their own benefits & both are conveniently located in a walkable area. The classic avocado toast with bruschetta tomatoes and balsamic glaze is the perfect way to start any day, in my opinion! If you're a meat lover you can't go wrong with the chimi steak and eggs breakfast sandwich. And of course the coffee - the cafe latte is tasty hot or cold! Overall, great local breakfast cafe in south beach

I enjoyed the food here. There's a lot of good-looking options, it was hard to narrow down what to get. I love how the cafe has so much versatility. You have 4 options for most menu items: you can get select items as a wrap, croissant/bagel, sandwich (baguette or panini), or a bowl (rice, quinoa, or potatoes) I enjoyed my Barnhouse BLT wrap and would've loved to try more options but my stomach can only hold so much. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating with wifi. If you're in South Beach Miami and want some healthier options, give them a try.

The Greek bowl

Stoped at this local spot for lunch and had the Greek bowl with Brown rice. It was super filling and delicious. The service was quick, staff was kind to a new person who was a little overwhelmed with the menu. The restaurant was clean and had open seating. Great spot for a quick delicious lunch.

Acai Bowl

Stopped by for coffee and acai bowls. I got the power bowl which is topped with bananas, blueberries, strawberries and peanut butter. The fruit was fresh! I wish there was more base in the bowl, I put my spoon in and the bottom seemed to be just barely covered with the acai base. The flavor was really good though. The peanut butter was difficult to distribute since the bowl was cold so I wished they drizzled it instead of putting a glob in the middle. The cold brew was super strong! My husband got the tropical and wasn't a fan. He said the fruit in that one seemed like it came from a can.

I'm Miami for Spring Break and it's the morning after a long Beach day of fun in the sun, dancing and cocktails. We needed something quick and feeling. Having multiple people and varying tastes is always hard to find that right spot but thank goodness for Taste Cafe. I ordered the Power Bowl & man oh man it was delicious. Oatmeal, Bananas, Strawberries, Peanut Butter. It was packed with protein, refreshing & filling. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. My friends got a few other things that I didn't get pictures of, hard to take good pics when you're trying to recover lol. Great spot, will definitely visit again! Need one of these in Charlotte lol.

Thai with chicken on ciabatta with a pickle on the side

My friends and I were grateful that Taste was only a short walk from the Mondrian. I ordered a Thai sandwich with chicken on ciabatta and a pickle on the side. It was incredibly tasty! I wish I ordered it as a salad though because the ingredients kept falling out of my sandwich every-time I picked it up. I'll be sure to visit again during my next Miami trip!

Bruschetta
Nicole F.

Good yet pricey food has the healthy vibe. Ate here twice, order at the counter and pay while you wait for your meal. Lots of unique breakfast sandwich ideas or build your own. We recommend the Bruschetta, or Barnyard BLT. We also tried the dragonfruit açaí bowl. Eat outside and good atmosphere.

Bagels, paninis, bowls and wraps. Taste it all but expect a wait at lunch hours. Order in advance to skip the line and earn back some time.

Las Olas Cafe - Cuban sandwich

I was in the neighborhood to get a badly needed haircut while visiting from the Bay Area for work and next door on the corner on an otherwise unassuming street is this solid legit Cuban sammie and coffee place. Locals galore sitting outside sipping strong Cuban coffee and eating Sammie's and empanadas. Who am I to argue with the locals. They definitely steered me right on this one. The Cubano was stuffed with moist roasted pork and ham with pickles and melted cheese. The spicy garlicky green sauce that comes with it could make an old shoe delicious ! The coffee was spot on and that roasted pork and plantain empanada also hit the proverbial spot. All in with tax and tip for $25 I was stuffed full and now remarkably fluent in Spanish ! Esta bien Las Olas Cafe ! Muy muy deliciosa !

Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.

Tequeño: Nicely executed with a cheesy center and crispy outside. Cuban Sandwich: I like how they really pay attention an evenly distributed and nicely crisped press on both sides. No vabbè, qua ti senti in Italia ma col bel caldo tropicale di Miami!…read more We came to Rosetta bakery for un caffettino ma then we decided we needed to order everything we saw. JK but our eyes really wanted to, especially when I laid eyes on the Nutella croissant section. From delicious paninozzo bello ripieno perfect to take to go and eat at the beach, to delicious pizzette e focaccia, Rosetta Bakery has everything you need for that sweet or savory tooth. We had the best breakfast, tipico Italiano, with nutella croissants, caffè macchiato e caffè, come in Italia. Everything is baked fresh, at the spot and you can see all the hard work through the little glass window. This place makes you feel good and it's food dopamine for your nose and eyes. Can't wait to come here again next time I'm in the area.

I especially like all the freshly baked smells coming from the active bakery onsite. Chocolate Cake: What can make chocolate cake even better? A nutella-like frosting! It really took this to a whole new indulgent level. Apricot Croissant: Why spread jam on your croissant when it comes pre-jammed? A nice amount of tangy apricot jam inside the flaky pastry. A great way to start the day. Pistachio Eclair: Normally I'm a chocolate frosting and vanilla custard guy, but they didn't have that combination. Was pleasantly surprised by the sweet pistachio cream, made it feel very European. Cannoli: A tiny little indulgence of dense sweet cheese inside a not-that-crispy-anymore shell. Potentially made awhile ago; wonder if a fresher one would have had a better crunch. I did like the candied orange peel at one of the ends. Mortadella Sandwich: A simple way to live up the olive roll. A few slices of mortadella to make it meaty and feel kinda fancy European. Ham & Sweet Baguette: Simple and easily transportable to the beach. The baguette tastes fresh, likely made onsite not that long before. It had a good chew. The ham and cheese are just enough protein to make it into a meal. Might have been even better with a little mustard. Mortadella, Cheese, Sun Dried Tomato Sandwich: A nice soft roll with lots of mortadella, some fresh mozzarella and heavy umami sundried (or slow baked?) tomatoes. The addition of those tomatoes really ratcheted up the flavor of the bread, meat, cheese.
